My car can hold about 12.4 gallons of gas and it takes me 27 miles to get to a certain destination and I want to know how long I can drive until I need to fill up.

I've had this 20 gallon community fish tank with a 100 watt automatic heater for about 3 years now and I've just never encountered anything like this.

When the heater is off the temperature goes all the way down to the mid-60s and when the heater is on, it overheats up to 90 degrees.

The temperature keeps fluctuating and it's so hard for me to maintain it.

Currently I can't go out to a LFS atm but I should be able to by next week. But in the meanwhile, here in MD the forecast is looking up to 80 degrees all week.

What do I do to keep the temperature consistent?

100 watts have never been too overpowered for my 20 gallon but now it's just going to 2 huge extremes and my fish are getting really stressed…

I got my halfmoon betta about 6 months ago and he was a gorgeous halfmoon with great full finnage. Now he doesn't even look like a halfmoon and he used to clamp his fins a lot. Can his fins grow back to the way they used to be?

*He has never been a tail-biter but has a small tear in his anal fin.

So I've had this small, skin-colored bump under my eye near my badges for quite a while.

It looks like a pimple but much smaller and doesn't hurt at all.

It's just bothering me and I've done some research and it might be a calcium deposit?

I just want to clarify.

Last year, I got the rid of the bump by DIY at home and this year, it reappeared underneath the other eye.

What on earth is it?

*Skin colored, small, tiny bump, doesn't hurt.

I have a 5 year old yorkie mix and she's a recuse dog. Whenever we leave the house we leave her in the crate but at times my stupid brother just lets hers out and leaves.

I believe she has separation anxiety and gets so mad that she poops or pees upstairs when she knows that she would get in big trouble. Yes we discipline her by firmly saying no and hitting her on the head.

My mom is determined to send her to Korea where my grandmother lives but I don't want to give up on my dog, Minnie.

She usually pees outside out the doggie door and into the sun room but pees and poops on the carpet of the sun room. Not even on the pads we put out. This has become a serious problem over the year and my dad absolutely hates Minnie.

How should I fix this problem?

Should I just send her off to Korea?

My mother will be leaving in a month from now and I'll be gone next week (out of state).

I'm just desperate for an answer.

On Sunday I will be leaving my 4 fish tanks for a full week.

I have all freshwater tanks:

20 Gallon Tropical Community Tank (3 female bettas and 6 neon tetras)

10 Gallon Tropical (6) Guppy Fry Tank (Not filtered but heated)

5 Gallon (3) Guppies Quarantine Tank (Not filtered)

1 Gallon (Filtered) Betta Quarantine Tank (Her dorsal fin got shredded into pieces).

I wanted to use the feeding blocks but I read on a lot of forums that it just fouls up the water(?)

I don't know what to do, should I buy the slow releasing foods? How much do those cost?

And what do I do about my quarantine tanks?

I want my mom to feed them but I have a specific way and need of feeding each one according to their dietary needs and I feel like I can't trust my mom with feeding the tanks.

I just don't know what to do. And I don't want them to get hurt while I'm away.

What do you think is the best thing I can do for my fish?

I really want a bottom feeder for my tank that will clean up uneaten fish food.

No pletcos please, I don't have real/natural driftwood for them to chew on and I have had one in the past (he was really cute).

I also have a bit of trauma with corydoras because my mom bought 5 of them when I was 7 or 8 years old in a 10 gallon tank with 4 goldfish and they got ripped to shreds… (I've learned that corydoras are tropical fish that cannot be kept with goldfish). Yeah…. So that's my trauma with those fish (they were either dead or bleeding D:)

Any peaceful bottom feeders you guys recommend? And do they have a specific diet (like algae wafers)?

I've always thought she was a yorkie and some mix of another terrier but I'm not sure.

The lady at petsmart told me she was a certain different breed but I'm very curious as to what she is.

My female betta is in a hospital tank with a heater.

I've fasted her for 3 days, fed her a pea then fed her 2 pellets the following 2 days.

I've added epsom salt to the tank today but she's so thin it looks like someone squeezed her body and I don't know what to do.

She comes up for air but the swim bladder disease is so bad that she can't seem to stay up at the surface for a considerable amount of time and goes back to the plants to stop herself from falling over.

She was able to eat yesterday but I'm so worried because she's just not doing well and not eating at all.

What should I do? Should I just euthanize her? It's so difficult to see her suffer because I've had her for at least 2 years now.

Is she going to eat soon? How long should I wait until she eats?

I have a female betta in a quarantine tank with a heater.

Starved her for 2 days, the next day I gave her a pea.

Next two days I didn't know what to do because she still had the swim bladder problem so I gave her 2 pellets.

How do I solve her swim bladder for good?

Do I continue to starve her? (because the poor thing needs some meat on her bones).

What am I suppose to feed her?

In a 20 gallon tropical tank I have

6 guppies

6 neon tetras

4 female bettas

(There are lots of hiding places and the tank is planted heavily so the bettas have already established a hierarchy)

How do I feed the community tank? The tetras like the big flakes that float to the bottom but both the bettas and guppies like small food floating on top. How would I feed the bettas pellets and the guppies flake food without overfeeding and without any problems with the bettas fighting when feeding?

I currently have a 20 gallon community tank with 6 guppies and 6 neon tetras.

I want to add 4-5 female betta fish in the tank.

My tank is running on a filter, heater, and air pump; it is also, somewhat planted with 6 fake plants and 2 large decorations. Right now, I have a betta but she is in a very small 1 gallon tank and I want to move her into a community tank and the gallon tank could be used for a fry hatchery.

I was thinking of feeding the bettas live fry as a treat once in a while since guppies multiply quickly.

If I add the 4 or 5 bettas, will my tank be too overstocked?

I use FaceTime daily and today when I opened my iPod and went to FaceTime it didn't work. As soon as I opened it, it said, "Get Started". All my contacts are in my FaceTime and I need for video chatting. After it said get started I clicked that and it wanted me to enter my Apple ID. I tried several times but it just wouldn't let me sign in. The I tried to, "Create new Apple ID" but it still didn't work. I did this so many time but FaceTime just wouldn't let me sign in. Please help me, step by step instructions? of why this is happening? And I also checked my UserName and Password and i'm 100% sure it's right but FaceTime just isn't working... Thank you~!

I'm a 14 year old girl about 4'9... (Or maybe shorter...) My short friends are taller than me. I grew an inch in Korea but I feel like my friends grew like 5in while I was away. And I feel really short. Also, when I went to a formal party with upcoming freshmen and an 8th grader, everyone was taller than me by like 100 in! (Not really... but... yea) And I was wearing heels! I already got bullied at my middle school for being short. Now I'm going into high school and I'm really scared because I dont know what to do. Any tips if I still have a chance to grow? And any advice for people bullying me? And just advice in general?
