Okay: it's a yellow Craftsman Bungalow with thin white pillars. Don't know if you can tell, but it's on a corner. -- I'm asking because I live on this street where they film the exterior of the house and I was wondering who (character from the show) lives there. Today, for example, there's all these teens and tweens congregating on the sidewalk in front of my house, and they've been there for hours, and I don't feel like walking out there to ask what's going on, esp. b/c the AD (assistant director) is pacing around, staring at all the girls. So, if you know who (what character) lives there, please let me know.

So, I live in Wilmington, NC, where they film a show called One Tree Hill. I've never watched it, mainly because I can sit on my front porch and watch them filming scenes on my street. Lots of teens gather on the street to watch. It's somewhat amusing, but could someone explain the popularity of the show... I'd appreciate specificity.

Be SPECIFIC: men's versus women's; college v. professional; etc.

Are you a big-time fan, coating yourself in team colors, or are you a casual watcher?

I've watched (and re-watched constantly) The Office on NBC. But in previous season and the current season, I just feel as though I'm not getting as much pleasure from it.

Pam looks old and dowdy, rather than young and fresh - I mean, she's wearing black hose and pumps to work, rather than her Keds and button-down shirts. She seems far less vulnerable, and too often, she's just whiny or annoying when she's around Jim.

Jim seems to be treading in the waters of retarded sexuality, now that his major plotline is resolved.

Dwight is far less sympathetic than he's ever been (and I love his angry, Nazi-esque demeanor in the previous seasons, but he was still a guy to root for back then).

Kelly shouldn't even be on the show anymore - her character has gone through the most transitions since the show's inception, but rather than become a more complex character, she's far more shallow, stupid, and pointless than any other conceivable creature on television.

Finally, Michael: he's floundering around, searching for a decent plotline to keep him from drowning in the asinine drivel that's written for him. His goofs are stale and redundant.

So, after that venting, I'd like to know your opinion of the show. Do you feel that The Office is suffering or has it improved? And please be specific - are there particular episodes or characters that work or don't work for you?

If so, what would you grow/raise?

And, if you don't mind, please tell me why you might want to grow/raise your own food. I'm sincerely interested.

There's some disagreements within my family and circle of friends about the best answer to this question. So, in your opinion: to live with prior to engagement; to wait until engagement but before marriage, or to wait until marriage before you live with a significant other...?

I felt that numerous issues were "run-into-the-ground" by constant discussion; however, I did not hear either of the candidates discussing agriculture (the potential for an impending global food crisis in the next few years) or discussing gay-rights issues with the depth I was interested in. Did you feel that any issues were lacking or their coverage was simply shallow?

I have not had luck getting a job with my undergrad or (in-progress) grad degree - potentially because I degree'd in English, Creative Writing, and Film. If I could go back, I would want a logical degree - maybe accounting, or something in agriculture. Anyone out there struggling?
