We just adopted a dog from a shelter(she hasn't arrived yet) a collie mix, and I was wondering if there were any precautions i should take when choosing her food. For example what brands are particularly bad and are to stay away from or what brands are especially good but more of a reasonable price range. Were looking at dry dog food.

In order to have a yard sale in Uxbridge Massachusetts do you need a permit or license? Also are their any specific times in which it must be held and how much would a permit cost if needed?

ok i tried the Yamaha 461 offset g to the Yamaha 481 inline g with my band teacher this time. He thought that the Yamaha 481 had a much better sound but i was having a hard time covering the hole of the third key on my left hand, and the Yamaha 461 was much more comfortable. So we told the guy there that we would consider the two. We're still planning on going to Hudson, MA to the Flute Shoppe to check out her Pearl 761 with my teacher on Friday. Then i went to another suggested music store and tried out the Trevor James Virtuoso II and they luckily had a Pearl 765. I never heard of the Trevor James brand so i was suspecting that i was going to prefer the Pearl, but when i tried the two the Virtuoso II had a much better sound than the Pearl!

Now that is where my question comes from are the Trevor James a good flute brand? They wanted $1715 for the trevor james.

hey MAMIANKA i've found several flutes that were looking into...

today i just went to the Music Nook or the Music and Arts Ctr. and tried out a $1,500 solid silver headjoint, body, and footjoint, silver plated keys, b foot, inline G (ya i know i should get offset G but they only had inline and i didn't really have any cramps i played it for an half an hour too), not sure if it had a thrill E or anything like that open holed Yamaha 481 flute and loved it. Then i compared it to a $1,000 Jupiter (same features not sure which one it was but it was brand new like all the others) except it had a gold cap, lip plate and ingravings on the lip plate and keys. i thought it was great but i've always loved the feel and less airy sound of yamahas. Then my dad insisted i tried the Gemienhardt just to see if what everyone said was true and wow were you right a few notes and i knew that hands down yamaha won both rounds.

Now the guy there ordered a Yamaha 461 with offset G for me to try on Monday and compare. My band teacher is going to come with us to hear me play and make his suggestions.

Then i'm going to have my band teacher come with my father and i up to Hudson, MA to try out this professional flutist flute's that she's selling. she has some Pearl 761 offset G and Yamaha 461's offset G. so i'm not sure which one's are more preferred if there's anything better about Pearls than Yamahas or vice versa... so i wanted to know what one you personally would prefer Mamianka Yamaha's or Pearl's?

ok so i'm currently going into the 9th grade (high school) and i've been playing the flute since 5th grade. i'm a 1st flute and i've almost made it into a cmmeda districts(something called that) my first flute was a bundy/selmer usa with a serial number of 398577 - not sure if the age has anything to do with the serial number... its pads weren't so great and i dont think it had a good tone either but how was i to know what a good flute looked liked i was only 9 or 10. my dad doesnt like to spend money so he got it from a friend of my brother's.

in the 7th grade i got another student flute a slightly used selmer usa serial-775794 in fair condition or so i thought. several months later when i learned the notes lower than a low F i discovered that my flute had leaks. i'm hopfully going to go get my selmer usa paded up so i can use it for marching band this week but i dont know with my dad and all (money is tight in this economy which makes my dad an even bigger money freak than he already is).

i've been trying to convince my dad to let me get an open holed flute for my up coming high school years and he seems interested in the idea. he's been looking on ebay though for flutes :( and i dont know how reliable those people are. he's found this one LOCAL guy who had bought a couple of flutes student and professional from a local music store that was going out of business. my dad took a special interest in one of the guy's open holed gemienhardt flutes but as soon as i began to research the gemienhardt brand i found a user named MAMIANKA that had strong opposition against the gemienhardt flute. so i wanted to ask the user by email but mamianka doesnt allow email or im so hopefully your reading this if you are please answer my question...

what is the most reliable, affordable brand for open holed flutes and a reliable, affordable music store that is close to the blackstone, massachusetts area or a site for a 1st chair flutist that has been playing for 4 years?

also is ebay an okay place to look for flutes if the person is close enough to go to their house and try the flute???

OK. I really like this guy in my grade who just moved here in the beginning of the school year. I talk to him alot and he is in all but two of my classes. He always tries to find a way to make me laugh. I was building up the courage to ask him out when some other person i know beat me to it. The worst part was i found out the news from him himself. I've known him for a year now and i realized that i liked him half way throufh the year. Now he is moving and i can't bear the thought of him moving without even knowing how i feel about him. You see i haven't really had an interest in a boy until i found him.

I was thinking of writing a letter explaining everything like my feelings or something to let him know how i feel. I was thinking about signing my name in numbers so A would be 1 and so on so it would take him a while to figure out who it was from. I was going to come after school and stick it in his locker so when the teachers tell everyone on the last day to leave your empty lockers open he will find the letter.

Although from all the research ive done on similar subjects the majority said that you should really tell a guy how you feel face to face but i dont know if i could have the courage to do so never mind get him alone without his girlfriend around. Also some other answer sites had people that said writing a letter is not the way to go ...The worst part is i only have today and tomorrow to write the letter or decide on something and Monday and Tuesday to actually take action. What should i do this is my last chance to say or do something about it. i'll never forgive myself if he moves without knowing how i feel.

It would be great if i could get answers really fast so ask your other friends on yahoo to say what they think and give a girl a big help.
