I'm a college student. I'm 19 almost 20 years old. I've never worked before, but I have been applying to numerous jobs,but I have yet to get any calls. I really feel like it's time to start building my resume and me skills. I've been doing follow up calls, but still no luck. Why am I having such a hard time finding a job? It seems as if everyone else I know can get a job except for me. It's so frustrating!!

I'm kind of socially awkward, I've always been somewhat of a loner. I never really reach out to people, but lately I've found myself in situations where I need/want to reach out to people but I have no idea what to say to them besides "Hey. How are you?" I really want to get better at making convo. I thought that it would change once I went to college and it still hasn't. I'm 19 almost 20! I really need to get past this!

I need something to analyze for my class but I can't think of anything any ideas. I had a couple but I can't do those since I did those in another class. This is for my college English class.

I don t have much money, but I was thinking about finding something on black Friday for him. He s going to be 22. I don t really have much experience with relationships. We ve been together nine months. He s a country boy and likes to fish and hunt. Any Ideas?

My summer is coming to a close and college is starting back up which means I'm going to be occupied with that. I'm also in a long distance relationship (1 hour away from each other when I'm home. 2 hours away when I'm in college). My second semester of college, it was pretty easy to talk to my boyfriend because I didn't have a job so I had a lot of down time, but the school work did keep me pretty occupied. Fall semester my schedule is looking a little more busy and I'm worried that we will be too busy for each other. He's not in school but he has a job and works long hours. I'm wondering how can I find a balance?

My boyfriend doesn't ever call me. I've called him a couple of times. We've been together for a little over two months and I would like to talk to him more and I'v talked to him about it and he's promised me like 3 times to call me more and he still hasn't. It sucks. We've probably talked like 4 times total. We don't get to see each other often because he we're in a long distance relationship. We pretty much text all day and I'd much rather get a call from him. :( I've called him but I don't want to be annoying.We both agreed that we need to talk on the phone more but we still don't do it. :(

Well I'm asking because I'm in college and that consumes most of my time. I don't really party much and I haven't done anything wild and crazy ever in my life. I have a 21 year old bf who i will say is pretty mature for his age. Work mainly consumes his life and he pays bills and is out on his own What do normal 18 year olds do? And What do average 21 year olds do? I kinda feel like I live a boring life.

I'm a college freshman right now and being an elementary teacher seems like it would be a really great job but lately I've been feeling really discouraged. 1) I don't know if I'd be good at it and that scares me the most. I don't want to be a boring teacher. I want to be one that makes a huge difference in student's lives. 2) There's the pay. Teacher pay hasn't increased in years and they dont make much at all. 3) I just dont know. I was so sure that I wanted to do this but I'm on shaky ground. I guess I dont really feel like I can do it. Plus I'm shy and I don't want that to get in the way of me wanting to be a teacher. I was thinking about becoming a dental hygienist since I have so many worries about being a teacher. I was just wondering what should I do? I Feel so lost.

We've known each other for about 4 or 5 years. We were friends in school but we've only been dating for a little over a month and he told me that I am the one for him and that he wants to marry me. I mean I can most definitely see a future with this guy and I love him very much but I'm just worried that he may change his mind because we're both young. Im 18 and he is 21. Does he really mean it?

Me and my boyfriend were friends in high school we used to sit together everyday on the bus, but he graduated a year before me and we lost contact but recently reconnected. We really want to see each other soon as we haven't seen each other in almost two whole years. He wants to take me out but I'm slightly worried that we won't hit it off that great because I'm pretty shy and when I'm nervous I get kinda awkward and I act a little tense. What should I do? Ok my boyfriend and I have been together for about a month now and he really wants to see me. I'm in college so I don't get to come home often. The thing is that I'm too nervous to go see him because I'm scared that he won't like me the same anymore and I'm scared that it will be awkward between us because I'm kind of quiet. We went to school together but I haven't seen him in about 2 years. Help me please. I came home.e for Vday and he doesn't know it yet cause I wanted to surprise him but I'm too nervous. Help me. Understand that I am just a college freshman. I started out as a biology major because I wanted to be in the healthcare field but I didn't know what I wanted to do, but now I'm an Early Childhood Ed Major. I loved school as a child, but as I grew older I hated it and always said that I would never be a teacher. When I became a senior in high school I was randomly put into a teaching class that I wasn't too fond of at first but I grew to love it. I interned at the local elementary school in a 3rd grade classroom for a semester, I thought I would hate it but I liked it. I enjoyed spending time with the students and helping them learn. I was intrigued by how excited they are about learning. Anyway, sometimes I wonder if I am making the right choice. I know I'm going to have to explain concepts to students. I'm not really that good at explaining things but I really want to get better at it. How do I know that I am making the right career choice? I see people change their majors on the daily and I don't want to be one of those people who gets halfway into college and decide to change my major.

I'm 18, in college and I am kind of shy but once i get comfortable around you im not shy at all. Guys barely approach me and it makes me sad. I don't feel like any guy would want me. I haven't been in a real relationship, mainly long distance ones that quickly faded. I don't know what to do. I really feel like I meed some type of experience in the dating while I'm young but no ome ever seems to show interest in me. I really want a serious relationship.

Ok well first off I'm 18, a college freshman. I'm still a virgin and when people ask me and I tell them yes, they always say "I can tell" and it hurts my feelings. I was txting this one guy that I met and he asked me if I was a virgin and I said yes and he said "I can tell" and instantly I could tell that he was turned off. How can I stop being so obvious.

I can never catch a guy's attention. In high school I went all four years without dating a guy from my town. If I did get a guy's attention they lived hours away from me. I was shy in high school but I'm not so shy anymore since I'm in college? What's wrong with me? How do I get guys to like me?

Big public bathrooms creep me out even if its a big single bathroom I get creeped out for some reason.

I used to be scared of automatic flush toilets but I got over that one.

What are your weird fears?

I've never seen the movie and I really want to see it before I leave for school tomorrow!

I leave TOMORROW and I'm freaking out. I have so many emotions going through my head and I don't know how to feel. I'm not crying yet but I feel it coming. I'm scared. :(
