    How long was the process?

    Did you regret it afterwards?

How exactly did it affect your credit reports?

  • Skateboarder's opinions needed?

I need to find a skateboard for my 11 year old boy. I don't mind putting out the money for a good board. I don't want him riding on a piece of junk, but I don't know what is junk and what's not. Can you please suggest what kind would be good for him. Any details on the type and why you picked it would be nice. Please include name brand or what exactly to look for in a board, as I am completely clueless. Thanks so much, in advance.

  • Should we really be concerned about this at work?

Some think that just being an employee at a company, we shouldn't be concerned about wasting. Some say that it's not our money so why care? Some say technically it is our money because come evaluation periods we should get a significant raise in pay if we have performed to the best of our ability, and if there is not enough extra money for this due to other reasons, we should be concerned. I am not sure what my opinion of this is which is why I am asking for yours. What do you think? Should we care about wasting what the boss has to pay for around the workplace or not?

  • Which house would you buy?

I want to start looking for a house to buy in an area affected by hurricane Katrina, but I'm not sure if I want to buy a house that had no water at all or a house that flooded for the first time from Katrina. The pro's of a flooded house would be that almost everything is new. Appliances, flooring, cabinets, etc. The con's would be you don't know if the owners did things half right in order to keep as much insurance money as possible, so do you really know what you're buying? The con's of a house that didn't flood is not much updating or modern look and probably all of the appliances are original and need to be replaced, maybe flooring too. The pro's is the cost of insurance and not having to pay for flood insurance. Which would you consider and why? I appreciate everyone's thoughts on this matter. Thanks in advance.

  • How do I get a loan to pay off a bad debt, when no one will give me a loan because of it?

Long story short. I went through a divorce and lost a vehicle to reposession. I've been paying a minimal amount monthly to the collection agency for the last 3 years. Interest is still accruing, payments are barely making a dent in the balance. They offered a settlement, (don't have it on hand) but no one will give me a loan because of this vehicle on my credit report. Aside of this one account, my credit is flawless. Interest will continue until loan mature's (03/08). Balance is 15,500. Settlement is 7,000. What should I do? Paying $300/mo. plus 16% interest to collection agency will take forever! Won't drop off credit report for another 4 years. Tried to call bank to get interest dropped-no luck. Any ideas would help. Any lenders willing to speak to me will help. HELP! Family doesn't have this on hand for me to borrow either.

  • Why are atheists always asking?

What if you were presented with proof that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and had children? Would that shake your faith about what the Bible says? Are they asking you too, or is it just me? Is this question because of the recent movie The Da Vinci Code?

My grandmother has an upset stomach and diarreah, for over a week now, and she's sick of eating soup! Any other ideas on what she can have. She has been to the doctor, they have run tests, bloodwork, catscan, and they have found nothing! I'm not sure what else to do. She is on a prescription diarreah pill and she can't have any antacids due to the antibiotic she takes. HELP!!! I feel so bad for her. She refuses to go the the hospital.

  • Hey Catholics?

If I may ask, why do catholics, and a few other religions, baptize babies? There is not a single account in the Bible where a baby was baptized. Yes I know we are all born into sin, but baptism is one of the steps of salvation, which is a choice, and if not, why would God give us free will? Oh and what's with the sprinkling? The word baptism comes from the greek word baptizo, which means to immerse? That's what it meant then and that's what it means now! Please don't try to take the word out of context. Thank you.

  • Anyone wanna argue about this thought? Bet you can't!?

I am seriously curious to know why someone would choose to not believe the Bible and live the way it says to. What if you are wrong? If christians are wrong, at least they have nothing to lose. We would die and that's it. But if a non-believer is wrong are you really ready to face an eternity of hell? Why not believe even if it might not be true? What if there is eternity for the soul after death? If we live every day for Christ and die and find out we are wrong, what have we lost? NOTHING! But a non-believer will suffer in hell for all of eternity. Who is willing to risk this? I am serious and I would appreciate it if the answers would be also!!!!

  • OK What's the deal with premarital sex?

Someone please tell me why the excuse is always "What if you wait until you are married and the sex is no good?" How would you know it was no good if you never experienced good or bad before? You wouldn't have anything to compare it to. Wow, what a concept! Perhaps that's why God says to save yourself until you're married. No ignorant answers please!
