My son turns 14 in Jan. He usually does not want to hang out with me. He is usually online with all his friends. It is winter and I want to hang out with him. Is this a pipe dream? Lol I'm out of things to do in the house..he is not my 5 yr old any more...:(...any suggestions??

Ok I'm 5'1 and I currently weight 160. I do not like the way I look so I took matters into my own hands and ecided to do something about it! I was always 125lb but i guess I thought it would b ok to eat the things I wanted. I went to the doctor just for a check up and he said the weight gain is from my meds. Really? Meds can make u fat? New to me...anyhoo I've been working out at work on my lunch break..I do 15 mins of running/walking....and do some strength training...lower body one day...upper the next..I work out like that 5 days a week..walk my dog everyday. I'm using my fitnesspal app on my phone to track my calories...the app put me on 1200 calorie diet a day to lose 2 pounds a weeks overral losing 12 pounds in 5 weeks. My question is...when wil I see results? Shouldn't I see it on the first week? I haven't lost **** and I'm in my 2 week....I feel good..body is sore all that good stuff but no significant weight loss...anybody have any tips...any insight...?? Anything positive?..will my meds inhibit my weight loss? I see my doctor next month...if I haven't lost anything..ima ask to switch meds....?? Please no negative or damaging comments...

I have a boxer breed for my companion. She has been with me always for 9 yrs. My question is why does she insist on following me EVERYWHERE! I go t the bathroom she follows and will even push the door open to sit w me. I go upstairs she goes upstairs, I go in the kitchen she will get up an go, seriously she will b in a dead snoring sleep and when I get up she wil follow. I always step on her or trp over her cuz she is right there. She won't even eat her food if I'm not downstairs if I go up after I put her food down she won't eat. Weird. I mean I luv it but it gets really annoying esp. When I trip over her..why does she do this ?

I've been with this guy for 14 yrs we have a 13yr old son and I'm at the point in my life where I kinda want to be left alone and do me. I'm 33 he is 36 we met when I was 19 he was 20 something handsome athetic..sweet...anyways I didn't know he was an alcholic and bossy controlling jealous...insecure..in the beginning I was ify..I ended up getting pregos and had the baby...our relationship was abusive.on my part and his..domestic assault..cops wanted me to leave him...I should have..but it was like my body couldn't leave.I wanted to do right by my son and not become dependant on the state...let's just say 13yrs later I feel trapped still..controlled..I have friends and he begs me to sty home so I blow them off..why can't I grow someballs and leave...I just can't get past the past...I tell him I want to leave and he says no..we r gonna work through his...he loves me more than I love him...I feel like if I wasn't with him, there would be all these opportunities for me...just feel stuck..and I don't want regrets...but I don't want to fail my son..he loves his dad..his dad would make my life a living hell if I left....I would have to get a restraing order and all that crazy ****....ugh...sigh..:-(

I found that my dog was acting weird. I decided to check her and sure enough she has fleas on her bum. I threw out her dog bed and used flea powder on the rug. I also changed and cleaned her sheets for her bed. I gave her a bath w flea killer..but this morn I pulle about 4 big ones off of her..will they go away? Wth...I hate fleas...should I was her again..I don't want to stress her..help!

My boxer dog doesn't find cookies very well. She will pinpoint the aroma but neverfind the cookie. My question is do they also have a good sense of smell..I know not like a german shepard..or blood hound...just curious.

I went to the bathroom, she was sound asleep. I open the door and she is sitting there staring at me. I'm afraid I'm going to hurt her one day not knowing she is right here alllll the time. I love her to death!
