Im 17 years old and ive been wearing makeup for about 4 years now. Over those 4 years, my makeup has definitely improved, but its still not great. I want to learn how to do everything properly, but i dont know anyone who is good at makeup. So where can I go to be taught how to do natural, good-looking makeup? Any advice?

Please dont think im crazy, but im 17 years old and ive never had a boyfriend. Im currently talking to this boy who i think i actually sort of like...he's respectful and kind and mature. I want to hang out with him more but im scared to ask/tell my parents. Im the oldest of 3 kids so im the first to do this and i dont know how its going to be handled. Im just really nervous to talk to them about him & to have them meet him.

Someone please give me some honest advice. I dont have an older sister or anyone i can talk to about this... I know i probably sound silly.

This is probably SO weird, but here it goes:

Ive never really had a boyfriend, im just not about wasting my time, and every guy thats ever tried to start something with me was either immature or disrespectful. I recently started to talking to a new guy, who i know for a fact is respectul, mature, and caring (i know by the way he treats people at school & the way he treated his former girlfriend). I want to get to know him better and see if we have any type of connection.

I just dont know how to bring it up with my parents. Im the oldest child, and a girl. So i really need some advice. Not only would this be a "first date" but it would literally be my very first date (which is sad- i know). He's so respectful and kind, i know he would make an awesome first impression on them... i just dont know when/how im supposed to do it?!

Please help... any advice would be so appreciated!

I had a 25oz four loko yesterday (12% alcohol) and although i felt a little happy, i wasnt drunk. On the other hand, my friend had one and she was drunk, like laying all over the ground and acting not herself.

Granted, i do probably weigh a little more than her (maybe 20 lbs?), but it was such a huge difference between our reactions to the alcohol. Can anybody explain why?

Today around 2oclock i had a 25oz four loko. I am a female and weigh about 150lbs. I was a little tipsy but never drunk. Ive drank atleast 4 bottles of water since. How long do you think itll stay in my system? Are there alcohol tests that can be bought at drug stores (such as peeing ones)? Thanks so much!

I am a female and weigh about 147 pounds. I dont drink that often and so i dont know what to expect. How drunk will this get me and for how long will it last? Can i be sober in 5 hours?

So last week i got in my first accident. Im 16 and will turn 17 next week. I already called insurance and all that, now im just worried about legal trouble.

I live in georgia. I know I will get 3 points on my record, and the max i can get before suspension is 4. But is there any chance that they would suspend my license anyways? Im freaking out. It was a simple mistake, i looked left before turning and the person in front of me slammed on the brakes. I know i was in the wrong though. What will probably happen? I have to go to court also, what can i expect from that?

1. How does scheduling work and how flexible are they with you? Like how do i tell them when i can and cannot work?

I need $500 bucks for a trip that i want to go on. I have about $150, but i really need to get the rest of the money myself. Do you guys have any suggestions on how i can get some money pretty quickly? Im desperate.

I got in a fender bender yesterday and long story short, i got a following too closely ticket and the officer told me i would have to go to court. Im 16 and the person i hit was my bestfriend (yeah...i had a pretty horrible day).

I know the ticket for this is going to be $200 or so, but i really dont know much about the court system. Ive read things that say if the other party fails to show up to court, my ticket may be dismissed? Is this true? I know my best friend wont show up to court just to make me pay a fine... So if she doesnt show, and i do, then will my ticket be dropped?

Im really not that familiar with the court system, so any help would be appreciated!

Today I turned in 2 job applications. The first place I actually completed the application online and then had a quick, "meet and greet" with the manager. The talk lasted about five minutes and she just asked simple questions. She told me that she would review my application and call me back if she wanted to interview me.

The second place, I handed in a physical application and asked to speak with the manager. However, he was busy and so someone took my application and said that they would give it to the manager.

I really need a job, and soon. I dont want to seem desperate or be a bother though. How long should I expect to wait for a call back? How long should I wait until I call them and ask about my application and if there is any information regarding its submission?

Ever since ive started losing weight, i have not been having periods. My new years revolution was to lose weight- and thats what im doing. In the past 3 months ive lost about 20 pounds. Im a 16 year old, 5'8 female. Ive gone from 170lbs to 150lbs. Ive done it the right way, exercising and healthy eating. But i cant remember the last time i had a period. Is this normal? I know im not pregnant...not even a question. Im just wondering when my periods will resume.

Should the girl or boy be in charge of buying these? Also, how much do they cost and where can they be bought?

Im a 16 year old, 5'8 female. In the past 2 months ive lost about 20 pounds and i now weigh around 150lbs! Im very happy with this new body im creating, but i still have a long way to go. I still, ideally, would like to lose another 20lbs.

My arms, chest, and lower legs have become very toned and thin. My biggest problem right now is my thighs and lower belly. Do you guys have any suggestions as to how to burn this fat quicker? What types of exercises would help me lose belly and thigh fat?

I just got my braces off 2 weeks ago and today I got my retainer. The orthodontist told me to wear it 24/7 for now.

I really dont want my teeth to move again, but i feel like wearing the retainer defeats the purpose of getting my braces off because now i have metal covering my smile again.

I plan on wearing it 24/7 except for at school. Will this be a big deal? I had my braces on for 3 and a half years if that makes any difference.

Any advice/tips?

Ok so i have less than 24 hours until i get my braces off!! Its been 3 years and 7 months. I honestly dont even remember what my teeth look like naked. I look at pictures from before, but it was in 7th grade and i am now almost a senior...ALOT has changed (appearance wise).

I have some questions:

1. Will my appearance be significantly better? Will i look older/prettier?

2. How long will the appointment take?

3. Do all orthodontists offer permanent retainers? Thats what i want but they havent said anything about them yet.

4. Will my teeth be yellow/stained? Ive had good hygeine but im still worried...3 and a half years is a long time.

5. Any advice?

Tomorrow morning im having breakfast with this boy that ive been talking to for the past few weeks. Im really nervous. Ive never (ever) been on a date before. I think im most worried about it being awkward. Like i dont want us to sit there in complete silence...

We're both juniors in high school. And ive only ever actually talked to him in the halls between classes. We were really good friends in middle school though... i do remember that.

I can tell he likes me alot, so im not super worried about trying to impress him (i dont mean for that to sound snobby AT ALL), i just want to be casual.

Ok so im 16 and ive never had my eyebrows done....ever. I just never really felt the need to do so. They arent super bushy or anything, but the older i get, the more i want them to be neat and clean.

If i want to get them done professionally, where should i go? How do i know that they wont mess them up? Do i get to tell them the general shape? Does it hurt really bad? How long will they be red and puffy for?

Ok so i have exactly one month until i get my braces off and i am super excited! its been 3 and a half YEARS. Im almost 17 years old and I feel like my braces really hold me back in terms of appearance. I just have a few questions and concerns about getting braces off and if anyone has been through this please feel free to leave advice!!

1. Im afraid that my teeth are going to be yellowish. Ive brushed them and done everything right, but I'm still scared. Will they be nice and white or will I have to get them whitened?

2. If i want a permanent retainer, how does that process work? Will they put the permanent retainer on when I get my braces off well I have to make another appointment?
