I'm Chad. You probably know me. I'm a Top Contributor once. I will have the Top Contributor Badge again, because I will help more people now, with more precise info. Okay, let's start over. To begin with, I have also opened my YM (Yahoo Messenger) account to all. About me: I am a dedicated vet of fishes, specializing in areas such as diseases, uncurable or not. I also have a pet shop. My most favorable employee would be Carla Finn, M.D. My Tanks/Aquariums: -2 600 Gallon Tanks, one is an aerated tank, the other is unaerated tank. -1 1800 Gallon Outdoor pond, with built-in mimic stream, good for salmon breeding, as this pond houses Cherry Salmons and many other. -14 75 Gallon Tanks, for other species (e.g. Angelfish, Discus, Tetras, Platies) -1 20 Gallon Tank, for my 3 Bettas -50 5 Gallon Tanks, these are hospital tanks. So that would add up to 4320 Gallons overall, and 894 fishes overall too. This is what you call hard fishwork! I'm Chad, at you service. CC

  • What is the best sniper rifle that the American Army can use?

I'm already a Second Lieutenant and also a sniper. I have been using SR-25 since I was a Sergeant, and I'm getting tired of it. I asked Captain Saunders if I could use the PSG-1 but he said to me "You couldn't use that, because it is a German sniper rifle", but is he right on this? I really doubt it. I want you to also tell if this is right. So, what is the most effective sniper rifle available for use for the American Army?

Also, can I use the M110 SA-AS, FR-F2, and the Dragunov?

  • My Zebra Danio has a problem about her energy?

I have a Zebra Danio. She is the only Zebra Danio in the tank. When we bought her, she was very, very active. She always dart around the tank. About 2 months ago, she had a fin rot. Then 2 weeks ago, her fins regenerated.

    The problem:

My Zebra Danio won't swim around again. She always stays at the surface but not breathing air from the athmosphere. She does not go down to the bottom anymore. It also seems that she is "sucked" by the undergravel filter. She seems to be curved. Right now she swims in the upper portion only and seldom on the middle portion. What is the problem and what should I do?

    The Tank:

    Size: 10 Gallons

    Filter: Undergravel Filter

    Substrate: Gravel

Set-up: Has 3 Plastic Plants and 1 Castle with an Aerator. Also have some rocks.

Fish: Pair of Swordtails, 1 Guppy, 4 Platies(2 male, 2 female), 1 Zebra Danio (herself), and 1 Plastic Fish.

  • A bug in the game "Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters"?

    This is a serious bug.

I have completed the level of Dreamtime. There was a slight pause. Then Ratchet's ship just did the basic flying around space to the Omega Medical Outpost. Should ratchet be in bed rather be in bed than in space?

Then the bug comes--- while Ratchet was flying his spaceship towards the Outpost, it stops, then a few more moments, the background becomes red. Then everytime I reset the PSP and load that part, it still won't work.

I have been overwriting my save data so I only have one save data. Should I start a new game or what other things could I do.

    Thanks to all who answers.

  • My Kenyi and Auratus (both African Cichlids) don't want to be friends?

They are in a 10 gallon tank together with 3 more cichlids (1 Yellow Prince, 1 Tangerine, and 1 Blue Allie)

My tank has a castle which has an aerator inside, a lot of rocks, 4 plants, 1 PVC Pipe, and a No FIshing Sign.

    Substrate:Pebbles

    Filter used: Undergravel Filter

    Food: Flake Food with Pellets

    The Problem:

My Kenyi is the first inhabitant of the tank. Then came the Auratus. The Kenyi's terittory is the castle and the PVC Pipe. The Auratus' terittory is the plant. Since the plant is near the PVC, they always chase each other. They always swim and swim. They are both females. They even get food from each other's mouth. What should I do?

No Isolation. The plant already rooted itself.

Say SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS about my tank!

  • Medicine dosages and disease outbreaks?

I had these fish in a 20 gallon tank.

    3 Hawaian Platies

    2 Sunburst-Wagtail Platies

    1 Albino Mickey Mouse Platy

    1 Dwarf Gourami

    1 small goldfish

    2 Zebra Danios

    1 Silver Molly

    1 Black Molly

The problem, seems that when I put the mollies, the tank had a disease outbreak. A lot of fish died. This is what is left...

    1 small goldfish

    1 Dwarf Gourami

    1 Hawaian Platy

    2 Zebra Danios

The gourami is very weak and will just rest its side on the glass. I quarantined it already.

    The diseases present are:by order

    Fin Rot

    Swim Bladder Disease

    Ick

    Fungus

I am using a medicine called Methyline Blue.

    Questions:

    1. How could I save the gourami as it is now extremely weak and covered with ick?

    2. You think the Zebras are causing the fin rot?

    3. What caused the swim bladder disease?

    4. How come my Zebras are not affected by any of the diseases?

    5. How many dosages should I make for the medicine?

    (1 teaspoon / 10 gallons)

    Thanks to all

  • Trying to test your brains in fish Part 2?

Still, I know the right answer.

When I first moved to Rockford area, we moved into an older town house. After setting up the tanks and refilling them with the water that I could transport, I topped them with tap water. Two days later, I had to return to Wisconsin. During my absence, all of the water in my tanks became milky white. My wife performed daily water changes, but the water would become milky again. The result was all of my freshwater fish died, but the marine tanks were fine. The water was tested and the report showed that the tap water was contaminated with bacteria. I asked my wife if our daughters became ill, to this she answered yes. I then sent out water samples to the lab and it was determined that it was the bacteria that is causing illness in my family and the problems with the fish tanks. The bacteria found an excellent source of nutrients in the freshwater aquaria and craeted a bacteria bloom in the water.

    What is the problem?

  • Trying to test your brains on fish Part 1?

I know the right answer. Just trying to test your brains.

I made a house call to a friend's house after his wife called and left a message with my wife that all of his fish in his 125-gallon tank were dead. He had just set-up this tank yesterday. The next evening I stopped by his house and inspected the tank. As I knelt by the tank and opened my water chemistry kit, I noticed that the surface of the water appeared to have a film covering the entire surface. I suspected that the culprit might be something. A quick DO test confirmed this.

When he set-up the tank, he decided to have the water return from his canister filters below the water surface, not realizing that he needed to have a surface return in place of an airstone in order to break the surface tension of the water. He had thus caused the fish to die.

What is the problem in this situation? Please answer thoroughly.
