He is a male betta that I consider to be docile since I have never seen him flare or react to anything in a hostile way, so I was wondering if it would be possible to try and put a plain small feeder guppy in with him. The guppy does not have a large flowy tail and does not have any flashy colors- it is just drab grey and small. Is it ok to try?

My friend had guppy fry a while back and she kept them as long as she could to ensure that they grew, but they have not grown since then. Only one has grown big, the others all look as if they are a few weeks old even though it has been months. So can the fry grow even they have not grown at all since then, if moved to a bigger tank? thanx.

I just want to know if the actor is acting that out too, or if it is a pre-recorded type of thing that they use to match the situation. Just out of curiosity.

I know my stuff for a subject and study extremely hard and then I take the test and then that think I aced it and then it turns out that I actually failed it. does that happen to you, like that you know that you are better then that and that you actually know the stuff, but then when the test results come back it shows that you what thought about yourself was actually wrong? what did you do about it?

I know this may sound weird, but I printed a last minute copy of an essay and two spaces down after the conclusion, my printer printed a sentence that ran something like this, "the earth is void of darkness" or something like that. I looked at my original document on the computer and it did not have that. so i am just curious.

He is acting normal and he seems to be fine, but his left eye is excessively watering. I tried to clean his eye with saline drops for dogs, but it is not working. What could the reasons be for his eye watering? Thanks.

I have four males and one female guppy in a tank-don't worry, they DON'T bother the female at all. While observing the fish I noticed that all my male guppy fish's tails were tattered. The female was in mint condition, but my males, which had perfectly healthy looking tails in the morning all of a sudden had tattered tails at night. So I removed the female since I had seen her nip the males harshly for no reason-trust me, she did not do it out of defense- she is bigger than them and is sort of aggressive. The water parameters are perfect, the female is out of the tank, and the males seem to be as usual, though they seem slightly rumpled due to the mishap, but is there anything that will help mend their tail? And is their other possibilities that could lead to badly damaged and shredded tales?

I had 34 healthy looking fry, but now I am down to app. 13! I realized they have ich, so I treated them for it, and they seem to do fine, I think they got it cause of the water from the original tank and cause there was a new comer. However, I am also concerned about their size, it has been about one month now and the fry are really small, maybe 0.5 cm or smaller. I have fry once before and they grew up pretty fast so that is why I am slightly worried. The mom is pretty big in build, I don't know what the father looked like since she was already inseminated by the time we got her.

1. What can I do to help the fry survive?

2. Is it normal for the fry to be that small?

3. Finally, do you have any personal suggestions for guppy/fry care?

My guppy just gave birth to over 50 fry. Unfortunately, some of them died or were dead already and the number is now 34. What did/would you do if you had an overload of baby fish?

I have two female guppies and they have been with the male guppies for a while, but they don't seem to be pregnant. I was just curious since the guy at the pet store said that I would have trouble keeping them all under control once they start spawning, but they are not. Is it possible that the females are not interested? The temperature is a good constant and the tank parameters are well in the range.

there are these things protruding from her anus. i researched what possible things it could be and I found something called camallanus worms. I think she has that. Does anyone know any remedies that have worked for your fish? Are there any home remedies that have worked for some of your fish? pls. help!!!! They are near her dorsal fin, are pointy looking. And no, it is not a gonopodium, I made sure she is a female. the pointy things are seeming to come out of her, not like attached on the bottom. she swims, eats, and does everything fine. Is it normal?

Are there any pet stores in or near Milpitas that are reliable, sell good quality fish, and have great insight on fish? Besides Petsmart, I don't know of any healthy pet fish seller. Do the stores that you know buy baby fish from you? I'm just curious and I want to go to the fish store.

He eats poop and he rubs himself in the poop. How do I stop him from having such a disgusting habit. I know this may not sound like a dog-unless other dogs do that, but it has absolutely got to stop. How do I prevent him from eating and smearing himself with poop-and I do feed him(so don't think he is doing out of hunger)
