  • When I sign in on my phone, it takes longer to get to a desired website. Why?

It takes longer to sign onto a website from my phone, than it does from my PC. I have a Nokia Lumia from Verizon, and it does have the package talk/text and internet. But sometimes 'll put in email address and password and it says "timed out" so I have to do this again ?

  • I had asked a question, tried to choose a best answer but only ended up VOTING for my?

favourite. Anyway, the Yahoo! Answers community chose my favourite answer as the best answer, and I am happy. I would like to "message" or "email" the answerer that got the 10 pts. I clicked on that person's avatar, went to their home page, and found no way to contact that person. Going back to my question, I found that there was no place that I could click, to send a message or comment, that that person would be able to see and know what it was about. Since YA! is for Q/A rather than conversation, I don't want to leave my comment as a question.... How would I go about sending someone a message, after the favourite answer has already been chosen ?

  • I visit Yahoo Answers to answer questions, very rarely do I visit to check my preferences or my basic ...?

information. So why is it, that when I click on the Yahoo toolbar icon for YA!, do I get sent to MY homepage, with my stats, instead of the homepage for Yahoo Answers ? Really ? Do people really get off on this stuff, or are these homepages not visited often enough ?

  • My husband and I have a discussion going, and we need someone to clarify....?

My husband works a very physically demanding job, and he wants to retire next year. I asked him to please wait ONE MORE YEAR, we'll be able to pay off that big loan that we're still paying for, and he'll be AT the legal retirement age ( 62), which enables him to suddenly be able to receive Medicare and Social Security. He says that THOSE options aren't available to him until he reaches 65, a few more years away. Who's right ?

  • Has anyone seen that ad for the beauty secret?

that erases wrinkles ? It says "Dr. OZ recommends this beauty secret for erasing wrinkles" and then they show a picture of a woman that looks like the classic Barbie doll face except she has plumped her lips, making her look like she is wearing a set of WAX LIPS. Remember those ?

So without really wanting to go to that website (for fear they'll want my blood), what do you think, that BEAUTY SECRET really is to PLUMP LIPS, thus making your wrinkles harder to see, because everyone will be looking at your lips ??? (hahaha)

  • I recieve alerts in my Yahoo inbox, whenever one of my contacts asks a question.?

When I click on the question, to see the rest or to answer the question, instead of being sent to the question on Yahoo answers, a little yellow burst sign with an exclamation point on it appears, and I can't get to the question to answer it. What does this mean ? Have I been blocked ? And if I've been blocked, why am I still able to read the question? Does this signify something WRONG with Yahoo answers, at that moment, or with that contact's account ? And how do I fix this so I can answer the questions ?

  • on my profile page, I have 3 quotes, that I have written as opinions for different topics. These quotes also?

These quotes also have a pic from the article that I was commenting about, however, the pictures are huge and the comments are barely decipherable. I would like these pics and comments taken down and deleted, so that the only info on my profile page is my name and blank avatar. What should I do, to make that happen ?

  • I have tried to find this info on Facebook, and I can't find it...?

Does anyone know how to "block" someone from seeing their homepage on Facebook ? I have recently learned that someone has been "viewing" my homepage and (possibly) harassing my friends. I want to block this person from viewing, but they never leave any posts, for me to just click on their names or hit "hide this person". How do I do this ?

  • Has anyone tried that Caribou Coffee ?

It's a dark roast, but with a neat flavour under neath, really smooth. I've chosen it as my new "favourite coffee" !!

  • When I am answering a question, I get little side notes from "someone" telling me?

I have "26 misspellings" or "48 misspellings", when I may have 1 or 2. Is there someone in there, that is BORED out of their minds, and just looking for a little attention ? I SEE you.... Yes, I have a "lot of punctuation". I LOVE this forum....

  • Why do some videos, as you're watching them, have that little turning circle in the middle of the screen ?

Why can you watch a video, and it's already ALL THERE, with no interruptions, while some others have a little turning circle in the middle of the screen ? It seems like whoever is talking is taking a breath, so every other minute of video-watching time has that stupid turning circle in the middle of the screen ?

  • I just recently found out I have a?

wirless connection on my internet service. It's a surprise, because my pcs are not wireless compatible, and I do not have a laptop to take advantage of the wireless. I found out yesterday, I wasn't able to get online, because a NEIGHBOR was tapping my wireless connection !! So today, I called my service provider to have a protection put on my account. I've been PAYING for this protection, not really knowing what it is or why I was paying for it. Today I had the wireless turned off. My question is: while this neighbor was tapping into my account, was he also able to tap into my online accounts, to find out what my passwords were and/or change them, was he able to order different items, and have them paid for by me, on my account ? How badly could my account have been used ?

  • I have recently changed email addresses.?

I had the old one for a few years but only just 2-3 months ago, started having problems with it, and had to change my password several times in less than a week. I think someone hacked into it. After changing my password for the 3rd time, I opened an account with another email server. My problem is that not all of the folders/files/contacts/friends/bookmarks/etc. were imported and I have had to literally "send" this info to my new email. Now I go back to my old email address (which supposedly is now bigger and better) and I can't find ANY bookmarks that I used to have, and I'm wondering where they might have gone ? (While sending this info to the new address, I've only sent a copy, so the original info should still be at my old email address, right ?) Is this part of the new "bigger and better" ?

  • the bookmark button..?

Hello, I recently bought a newer computer, and today, I downloaded the Yahoo! toolbar. On my last computer, I also had the Yahoo! toolbar, but this new toolbar doesn't have all the buttons that my old one (on the old computer) had. One of my favourites was my "Bookmarks" button, I used it often !! According to the homepage YA! best answers, all I have to do to set a bookmark, is to "click on the bookmark button at top of browser and click save". Well, yes ! Except I don't have a bookmark button ! So how do I get a bookmark button ?

  • What is a Fisher Cat ?

Maybe it's spelled Fischer Cat.. it's a wild animal that eats smaller animals. I've heard it's about the size of a badger, but it's vicious and will eat small dogs and cats, if they're available....
