I have 2 cats that are normally very friendly. My friend just got a new puppy about 6 weeks ago and today she came upstairs and ran over to the couch where my one cat was sitting on my one roommates lap. She scared the cat and my other cat came charging at them. He chased two of them upstairs and one of them downstairs hissing and trying to attack all of them. What could have caused this and how can I prevent it? Is it from the one cat getting scared or what?

So I live in a townhouse with three other girls. One girl does not want to pay for cable tv. Tv is expensive especially with the special channels and recording service we use. So three of use divide that expense. The internet expense is divided by all of us meaning the one girl pays a small amount. This has been the same for two years now. Months ago I noticed she had been watching the tv while we were in class or at work. I could tell because the channel would be left on one none of us watch and the on demand recently watched showed similar evidence. I asked if she wanted to start watching the tv and paying part like we do and she said no. So after that I locked every single channel, the on demand, and the DVR. I picked a very easy pin number so that us three could easily remember it. I believe that she has found out what the code is because I found one of my DVR recordings was stopped in the middle of it when I went to press play. The other two girls did not watch this show so it only leaves the girl who doesn't pay. So I changed the code to something more complex but is that all I should do? This girl doesn't take confrontation well. She is the type to mess with you and remember things like this months later if I were to say something. Is there a way for me to get her to tell the truth without her realizing it? Like trick her. She is pretty intelligent and a good liar.

Also, please no comments about how I shouldn't live with this annoying roommate. She is moving out this summer and we can't afford to kick her out now.

Every time I visit my family my dad and I get into arguments about gay people. I have many lesbian friends so this deeply offends me... His beliefs are that people choose to be gay/lesbian/ trans and that they could choose the "right" path if they wanted. He is Catholic and very firm in his beliefs. He even has said that if one of his children were gay he would remove them from his will. I know he grew up in a time when gays were not accepted as much (he is 56) but this is not an excuse to me for his hatred. I've already asked him when he chose to be straight, to get him to see that he did not choose, and neither do gay people choose to be gay, but he didn't see the point there. He also talks over me and cuts me off when I try to speak about this issue. He's very stubborn!

I have a toy poodle. He is approximately 9 years old. This morning while I was getting ready for class and my cat swatted at him. And he peed everywhere. I feel so bad for him. I had left him downstairs on the couch while I was getting ready for class and I heard a yelp. When I opened my door He was cowering in the corner as she swatted and he emptied his bladder. Poor thing :( . I watch "My Cat From Hell" and there was an episode with small dogs and the cat would attack them because they had low confidence. Is this maybe a confidence problem? Maybe he acts like prey? This hasn't happened before. Reagan will stalk him if he is on the floor but for the most part he stays on the couches or is around me. What can I do to make sure this doesn't happen again? I have two cats, one male, one female. It is the female who attacked.

It have been three days after getting all four teeth removed. Two were impacted. the past two days I have not had any nausea. I have been taking percocet for the pain and advil. The last percocet I had was 12 last night. This morning around 7 I awoke feeling very sick and dizzy. I had my friend get me water and applesauce. About ten minutes after eating the applesauce I threw it all up. After I did a salt water rinse and went back to sleep. I awoke 30 minutes later and puked again butt this time mostly liquid and dry heave. I just awoke and still feel very sick and dizzy. My gums are bleeding again so I put gauze on them. What is safe for me to eat? I have more applesauce, yogurt, bananas, miso soup (but I heard hot liquids dislodge the blood clots), ice cream. I also have ginger tea, regular tea, strawberry lemonade, water, hot chocolate mix.

I just had all four wisdom teeth removed. They have me on vicodin and cipro antibiotic. My throat is really scratchy from the tube so I bought some "throat coat" tea by traditional medicinals. Is this okay to drink? I drink it at room temp. Is there another tea good to help clot blood?

Her birthday is coming up in October, I just want to get her something special. I am looking to spend between $50 and $150. My dad is already taking her to Bermuda, and we are having a surprise party for her with a lot of people. She already has so much jewelry so that won't work. She gardens, but I have gotten her garden sculptures and special seeds in the past and do not want to repeat. She also has enough body products and her home is decorated well. She is trying to lose weight, so I don't think a gift card to any nice restaurants will work here, besides, I hate giving a gift card or money. Any ideas?

They are just two small barbells. I cannot take them out, for risk of them closing, and I haven't been able to find plastic retainers. Has anyone had experience flying with small private piercings?
