Car weight in metric tonnes?
Does anyone know how much a car weighs in metric tonnes? More specifically 2001 Alero. Or is there a website where I can find this out?

10 AnswersBooks & Authors1 decade agoQuestion about laptops and internet. One is running slower when the other is using wireless?
I have two laptops, one uses wireless internet the other is using the cable because the wireless card doesn't work. I'm using a fast router, the fastest one but when I'm on the wireless computer using the internet (which is basically all the time) the other computer runs slower than when I'm off. The pages don't load as fast etc. Is there a way to avoid this? How can I make sure both computers are running at the same speed?
2 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoDo you regret the first time you had sex?
Do you think you did it too early? Were you emotionally ready? With the rate of teen pregnancies going up in America shouldn't we be teaching more about abstinence and being more open about the fact that contraceptives are not 100% safe?
No mean comments please. I'm not doing this based on religious beliefs but I'm just curious what people think about it.
3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoMy laptop randomly shuts down?
My Dell will sometimes just randomly restart. It's not spyware or overheating, I've checked those things. It will have a blue screen right before it shuts off saying something about Windows but it doesn't stay on long enough for me to read it. Right before it restarts everything freezes as well. What could be causing this? Also this is a refurbished laptop if that means anything.
3 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoHow do I stop my dog from everything?
He's a Shih Tzu that eats everything from shoes to toilet paper (the whole roll if we don't stop him) to garbage. He'll bring a stick in the house and not just chew it but eat it all. Pine cones, leaves, socks and recently he ate a five dollar bill from my Monopoly game. How do I make him stop? We've tried replacing things he's not supposed to eat with his chew toys but it doesn't work, he goes right back to it.

Now that our dogs are finally housetrained, we'd like to get rid of the pee stains on our carpet. They smell like urine and look nasty on our light coloured carpet. What are some household products we can use to remove the stains that won't damage the carpet?

How long is too long to be in a foul mood? Could it be stress related if it's been going on for more than a week or could it be depression?
5 AnswersMental Health1 decade agoIs it possible to accidentally download child porn?
We found some kiddie porn on our computer and immediately called the police. They seized the computer and are investigating. My stepson says that he accidentally downloaded the stuff. I'm an avid user of porn and have never "accidentally" downloaded anything like that. Could he be lying? Or does this really happen? They were images of naked kids. How could you not know what it was?
2 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoDo privacy laws apply in the home when it comes to parents vs kids?
My stepson is quite firm on not letting his mother into his room especially when she went in there to turn down his very loud music at 3am. The basis for his argument is that he has the right to privacy and can refuse her entry into his room. Is there an actual law stating this?
