  • Movie about a doctor who solves a crime.?

I am looking for a movie that was featured on TCM. It is about a doctor who is investigating the death of a girl working at a hospital (I think) who was presumably made pregnant by a masseur who was dealing and consuming drugs. The masseur's accomplice is a nurse in the same hospital that the doctor is working in, and it turns out in the end that she killed the girl.

The doctor gets run over at some point while he's in the telephone booth trying to tell a police inspector who the murderer is.

Also, there's a love triangle: The doctor, a girl and her boyfriend who is juvenile and a drug addict as well. In the end she stays with the doctor deciding to leave the "clean" addict behind.

Also, I recall that the doctor almost becomes the victim of blackmail as a nosy journalist takes a picture of him making love to a girl.

I hope that these details are enough.

  • I need to find out a game title?

I'm not sure if it's out yer or not, but it should be coming out soon or it came out recently (so yes, it's new).

I think it's a series and the next one to come out will be the third.

The game-play has great terrain movement for the main character (it's a girl), comparable to Mirror's Edge, but in 3rd person view(fast paced movement in a changing environment...I loved it).

Oh...and I think that the main character has a flying friend: A pig or a rat, or something like that (I also think he had a funny name).

  • Are there any people/companies that act non-affiliated eBay intermediaries, to whose services I may call upon?

I would like to buy a lot of things from eBay, but, sadly, many of them ship only to the U.S.

I wonder if there's a website that perceives some kind of fee in order to act as an intermediary for European buyers.

e.g.: If the seller will ship only to the U.S., I could buy the product and ship it to the web-site's address, and then the website would send it to me for a small fee+ shipping cost.

    Are there such sites?

  • Is there any way to "Randomize" your playlist on the new YouTube layout? I don't want my songs played in order?

I am sick of this new youtube layout and I hate it that I can't listen to my playlists' songs in a random order. It is terrible to listen to them in the order that I saved them to the lists.

  • Potato Cannon igniter problem.?

So, me and one of my friends built a potato cannon out of PVC pipes and we bought a BBQ lighter to use as an igniter. Because the actual lighter is too big we decided to disassemble it and try to get just the "vital" components in the potato cannon so it would ignite. So those "vital" components were a small gas container with a plastic tube and a metal end with a spring on top, a "clicker"(the device that generates the spark) and 2 wires connected to that "clicker": one made out of copper and one that seems to be made out of steel or something. We tried igniting the gas coming out of the gas container several times but the results were far worse than the ones that you would get from an "untouched" bbq ligther. We probably got a spark every time but only 1 out of 10 actually ignited the gas.

Question 1) What is the problem and how can we fix it.

Question 2) Any good alternatives for creating an electric spark powerful enough to ignite the gas?

  • I have a Calculus derivative problem.?

    So...the function is f(x)=e^x - 2x^2

with the given point (0) i have found out that the tanget line is y=x+1

When drawing the two graphs(the function and the tangent line) I have to draw 2 exact points on each graph. I got two down by placing the tangent point (1,0) [so now i have 1 on the function and one on the line] and the (-1,0) point on the tangent line. The only problem is I can't find a second exact point on the graph of the function itself (without any decimals, functions such as *square root* or *natural log* are allowed in the "name" of the point...as long as one of them is a whole number).

    Thank you for your help.

Should I get my money back? If so, how DO I get my money back?

  • How does video graphics card power consumption differ?

So, I own a Nvidia GeForce 9400GT graphics card and I want to buy a new one in May 2010(I want to spend around 200$-250$). The question is, if i will buy a pretty new(as in date of release) and highly performant graphics card, will there be any difference in the power consumption/voltage for the card itself? I mean, will I have to change the power block for my computer in order for my graphics card to run at maximum efficiency? I'm not sure how these things work.
