  • Cool cat name for a female black cat?

She is black with a very tiny patch of white on her chest. She is a scaredy cat, she will go to a corner of a room and sit there for hours, and she is afraid of pretty much everything. I need a cool name for her.

  • cat fights?

I just brought a new kitty to my home about 5 days ago. At home i had one already, they are both about 5 months old. I already went through the first one hissing and growling at the newer kitty, and the territorial droppings all over my carpet, even in my shoe. I thoughtt they were getting along good now since they lick each other clean.

However, my first kitty kind of bullies around the other one and bites her, and scratches her until the second one gets hurt then she retaliates a little bit. I suspect that my first kitty abuses the other one when i am not home because when i am home and i see this I yell at her and she leaves the newer kitty alone.

Could it be that she knows to behave when i am around and rough the other one up when i am gone?

  • My kitten will not stop following me, is this normal?

About 5 days ago i got a 4 week old kitten from the shelter. In the beginning it would run all over my place and jump on top of tables and counters and play with my electrical cords, until i took that away and let her know i would not allow that.

Now as soon as i get home from work it will not stop following me. It does not meaow it just follows me. If i go into another room or i am out of her sight for more than 2 mins it looks for me. It will only nap on my lap or climb on my bed when am sleeping ,even though i bought her a fluffy pillow.

Is any of this normal? and how do i get her to sleep by itself in its pillow?

  • about endurance?

I currently run 5 to 6 days a week. Running no less than 5 miles a day and up to 9 miles on some days. I have been stuck doing this routine for the past 3 months.

I want to get to a point where i can run 10 miles comfortably every day but it just seems like i am never going to get there.

Any tips as to how i can improve my endurance will be appreciated.

  • How should i respond to a racial slur?

At school (college) the other day i found racial slurs written on the chair that i usually sit in. My initial reaction of course was to beat someone's face in. But then again that is a lose/lose situation for me because if i make use of violence that fuels the stereotypes even more so. So what do i do with the anger then?

  • Exercise vs soft drinks?

I already run an average of 5 miles per day but i cant seem to get rid of those extra 5-7 lbs. I suspect it is because i drink 5 or more soft drinks per day. Is there any way i can lose that weight and reduce my belly fat without changing my diet?
