Shopping cheaper in Hong Kong or Japan?
I'm from Australia and debating on going to Hong Kong or Japan for one week. I want to go as a shopping trip.
I love H&M and I know both countries have it. I came across it when I was in Hong Kong last year.
Shopping for female clothes, which country is cheaper? Hong Kong or Japan? In Japan I will be going to Tokyo only. Or if you can suggest another country too that's good for budget shopping.
4 AnswersJapan8 years agodebt collector job..should I accept?
I've been working in the hotel industry (front office) but now I'm looking for a career change. I've been looking for admin/reception positions, but not successful. I'll get an interview but nothing further.
Today I was accepted for a debt collector position. It's a call center that calls clients who hasn't paid over 6 months.
I understand in this position you will get abused and hung up on... and it might be stressful.
But.. the pay is good... way better than what I could every get in the hotel industry.
I need advise, would you accept the job? I'm wondering if I should decline and keep on looking for admin roles.
7 AnswersFinancial Services9 years agoA new job, but still searching for a new job?
I started this week at my new job as an admin- all rounder job. The pay is lower than my previous work but there is room to grow because it's a small company, but I know I'll never get paid more than what I got at my previous workplace, even if I stay for 1-3 years. Everyone is nice and seems like a fun place.
Since I've accepted the job I've gotten interview offers for reception positions. It'll be less busy compare to my current position but higher pay.
I'm going ahead with the interview offers and see what happens and what they offer.
(Majority of my previous workplaces I always end up at busy places and get paid crap. I always evy my friends who gets paid more and mucks around)
Would you stay with a less paying business (and yes, I have asked for more but they said no) but you can grow and learn more... OR would you go to a job that pays more and you do less?

Been unemployed for few months now. Today was the first day of work. Everyone is nice and I think there's room to grow.
But the pay is much lower than what I use to get and the GM is expecting me to do twice as much work compare to my previous workplace.
I worked in a hotel previously so I know people come and go all the time. So I don't want the people to spend time training me and then I leave.. cuz I knew I hated that when I had to train people.
Now that I've accepted this job, I've received interview offers with better pay today. It's not guarateed I will get the jobs.
Should I stick with the current job I have now or should I quit and continue searching for a new job?
3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment9 years agoHow should I delevope my career?
It feels like I'm going no where in my life.
My main experience is in the hotel industry working in Front Office (have experience with switch board, reception and reservation). In front office, I can try and become a Duty Manager or Front office manager.. but I don't want those positions. I know I have nothing left in front office. I am not interested in going to the Food & Beverage area either.
My other experiences are 2 years in retail and 6 months working in an event business.
I have a bachelor in business. But sometimes I think I should have focus on accounting or sales & marketing.
I want to get out of the hospitality industry and but I don't know what I can do. I was thinking maybe I can find an admin/reception job. But I don't know what industry I want to get into.
Would anyone have suggestions on what I can or should look for when changing careers or developing it?
3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoCan anyone be born with asperger's syndrome?
My best friend and I was talking about asperger's syndrome.
She told me her boyfriend's brother has asperger's syndrome. If they get married and have a child. Would her child have more chances in getting asperger's syndrome?
I use to think, if you have the child, when you're older the child will have a higher chance of having asperger's syndrome. But A friend told me that's not true

2 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoTeaching/working in British hills Japan?
I've never done teaching before but I found a place called British Hill in Japan. I've applied today, but I'm not sure if I'll be accepted.
Has anyone worked in British Hill before and for how long? Any experience or tips would be great :)
