Someone asked this just a few minuets ago.

So when I replied with : "Why are some christians so immature", I got an instan 2 thumbs down.

Why is acceptable to have a go at atheists, yet, the christians get so upset when you ask the same questions about them?

There are immature people everywhere, no matter what the belief or non belief is.

Don't you just hate it when people pick faults with words being used in the wrong way?

Like: your & you're.

There & their.

As long as people understand the message, does it really matter? It's not like its a message to the queen or anything.

Personally.

I don't mean the usual tradition, but what is the personal meaning?

For me, it means doing things I don't normally do.

Seeing friends and family, The best meal of the year, my one and only cigar of the year, watching my nephews and nieces unwrap their presents and seeing the look on their faces, having a drink down the pub (That's a rare thing as I hardly drink). And the overall atmosphere.

I know that all the christmas shopping is a pain, and usually unnecessary expenditure, but for me, it's all worth it in the end.

Granted, I don't celebrate christmas for the traditional reasons. (Birth of christ (allegedly), pagan festival, etc)

So let's keep this festive, and no hostility please. Let's call a truce on this shall we? (Atheists and Theists) Because no matter what your belief, Christmas is here.

And the cheapest? I don't want to splash out if I can help it.

For example, you are walking down the street, and a piano (Very unlikely, I know) fell from a 5th story window. An atheist sees this and pushes you out of the way.

I know Russia uses Cosmonauts and USA uses Astronauts, but other than that, is there any other difference? If not, why does Russia call them Cosmonauts instead of Astronauts?

Does he let pedophiles, rapists, murderers, animal abusers, and politicians in? (Assuming they believe in the so called god.)

Seems like an unfair system to me.

People that lead good honest lives, but don't believe in the so called god, cannot enter heaven. (Assuming for a moment that atheists are wrong, which I seriously doubt)

But pedophiles, rapists, murderers, animal abusers, estate agents, lawyers and politicians who happen to believe in a god get forgiven, and let in.

Can anyone else see the flaw in this god logic?
