  • What is the best iPod stereo for the price?

I'm looking to buy an iPod stereo for my girlfriend. Only thing is, it must work with an iPHONE! I know many iPod stereos don't work with iPhones, so that is an important stipulation. I don't mind spending up to $150, so that's the ceiling.

What's the best stereo I can get for that price?

  • General Questions Concerning Workers Injury Compensation On The Whole for the United States?

I've scoured the internet but have been unable to find solid results concerning workers injury compensation. Namely:

    1) How many claims are made a year?

    2) How much money is typically paid out a year in workers compensation?

    3) How long does the typical claimant stay on workers compensation?

    etc.

If you have any links that would help me to answer this information, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much in advance.

  • Do you enjoy RolePlaying from the Bleach Universe?

    Storyline

Basically, if you are here, you know a bit about the Bleach storyline. This roleplay is taking place BEFORE the Bleach manga. In fact, it is taking place near the very beginning of Soul Society itself! If you choose to play as a shinigami, you will help Soul Society carve out a place in the annals of history. Should you decide to play as a vizard, you will be one of the first of your kind. Hollows, you are arriving at arrancar-status the old fashion way - no Aizen to help you out. Your experience is raw and uncut. Your destiny is whatever you decide to make it.

    Position Advancement

Before, you had to be appointed Captain or Espada. Now, you must earn it through posting and points. As you develop your character, you earn the right to call yourself the best of the best. And as you grow stronger, others will acknowledge you as their leader. But don't rest on your laurels - as it is in the real Bleach, only the strong remain on top! In other words, your accolades are merit based, so earn them!

We invite you to come visit the new forum and take a look around. We promise your experience will be incredibly positive. Thank you for reading this, and we hope to see you in-game. Without further adieu, here is the link:

  • Can dogs get "human" flu?

I recently came down with the flu, and my dog stayed with me the whole time (she's a sweet heart and is totally empathetic). I didn't even think whether she could get sick or not! Can dog catch "our" flu? I'm only on day 2 of recovery...

  • Quick question on the usage of commas near quotations marks.?

Does the comma belong within or outside of the quotation marks?

“Clever cooking” performed significantly better on the “definitely would buy” ratings than “family cooking,” without the exclusivity that “family cooking” inherently brings to the table (Exhibit 11).

*Please note where the comma is, following the phrase "family cooking", but currently inside the quotations. Can any english majors help us MBA students? haha

  • Lateral Thinking Puzzle! Do you think that you can solve it? >=)?

A man wrote to a toothpaste company suggesting a way in which they could significantly increase their sales. How?

    CLUES:

    (1) The toothpaste company adopted his idea and their sales increased.

    (2) It had nothing to do with the taste, price, or distribution of the toothpaste.

    (3) The idea encouraged people to use more toothpaste.

  • Help with the name of an old cartoon (early/mid 90's if I remember correctly)?

So, here's what I remember. Initially, I just had the toys and I had never seen the show. The toys were robots in the shapes of various animals, and you actually put the toys together. Then, you could wind them up and they would walk. Some of the other toys had batteries, but you still built them. I remember the rubber hoses that had no purpose other than getting lost...the ones I can remember having are the gorilla, raptor, and tiger.

I caught the show on Cartoon Network quite a few years ago, and it followed a guy who got into the white tiger robot (which only would work for him), and partnered with the raptor (which was a sniper robot piloted by an attractive anime chick) and one other partner. They would battle for money again various other teams, which had different animal types.

Any help I can get with this will be greatly appreciated. It's been bothering me for a long time.

  • Letter of Recommendation/Transcript management for MBA programs? Please read inside.?

It seems as though MBA programs do not have their stuff together. If you are going to law school, you have the LSAC to manage your transcripts, letters of recommendation, and LSAT scores. If you are going to med school, you have the AAMC to do the same. Why is it that the GMAC does not do this for those people wanting to go to get their MBA?

Is there a service out there for MBA programs that I do not know about?

  • If you had a choice between a full page advertisement in a magazine, where in it would you choose?

So, I'm in charge of marketing, and I have to make the decision mentioned above. We have the option between 3 places in the magazine:

    1) near the front of the magazine (not the cover)

    2) near the middle (though not a center spread)

    3) on the very back

Where do you think it would be most beneficial to place an advertisement?

If you could, please explain your rationale as to why you chose where you did, so that I can take a census of sorts. Thank you very much!

  • Did I falsely have my license taken from me tonight?

I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I was ticketed for going 63 mph in a 35 mph zone. I received the following statue codes:

11:131A(4) - Speeding 31 mph or more (court appearance required)

11:142 - Reckless Driving (court appearance required)

11:281.1 License must give notice (proof, being held as bond)

Now, whether or not I should have been going that fast is debateable (I myself do not think I was going that fast), but I was ticketed for going at least 31 mph over the speed limit. According to my math...

    63 mph-35 mph = 28 mph

I'm a bit confused now. I know that the "reckless driving" calls for a court appearance, but I guess my question is if the 2 work in conjunction, or if this claim that I went 31 mph over (when I really was 28 mph over) is enough to claim "Not Guilty" and get off or at least some lesser charge.

  • Hard lump under the suture where my dog's spaying incision is?

My rat terrier was spayed last Wednesday (so roughly 5 days ago). Her incision site looks great; she hasn't messed with it at all. Under the incision site though, there seems to be a hard lump. It doesn't seem to give her too much distress when I touch the lump (which is actually somewhat off-center from the incision, not RIGHT under it). The lump also noticeably sticks out a little. Is this something I should worry about? It isn't hurting her, and it isn't stopping her from running around like an idiot chasing our cat...

  • MBA Question: Biological Sciences/Chemistry double major, and Entry Level Job once I get MBA?

I tried to make the question line as informative as possible. I'm looking into getting an MBA, and my majors are Biological Sciences and Chemistry. Ideally, I'd like to eventually be in charge of a pharmaceuticals company, or something to that effect. I had a 3.5 GPA. I was wondering if MBA programs would weight my curriculum and GPA as well as someone who majored in finance, accounting, or other business majors?

Also, once I have my MBA, what kind of entry level job would I be ideally looking for? And, if I go to a decent MBA program (I'm near a school that fluctuates in the top 20), what kind of pay could I expect?

I appreciate your time and responses.

  • MBA vs. Law Degree, Help Deciding?

Here's the dilemma. I work at a law office right now as a legal assistant/office manager. What this means is that I am in charge of not only writing legal documents, but also our marketing and business protocols. My boss, our attorney, always jokes about how much of a better CEO I would be than a future law partner, which I'm pretty much ensured were I to go to law school.

I enjoy both aspects of my job equally, but I would agree that I am a slightly better business man. I guess what my question pertains to the kinds of jobs an MBA would provide you with, as well as the upward mobility it gives. Is the salary of a person with an MBA anywhere comparable to that of your typical entry level lawyer, which where I live, is about $70,000 for a regional firm?

Thanks in advance for the information, I appreciate any and all help on the matter.
