  • Christianity - Some questions..?

These are things I genuinely can't seem to grasp about Christianity and I'd like you to answer them. I'm not 'trolling'.

    Where did God come from?

How was the Earth created in 7 days as if by magic?

Why did God create the sun on one day, then 'all the stars' on another day? The Sun is a star so why wasn't it created with the others?

How were humans, animals, plants and the Earth's structure created fully formed / evolved without any sign of development or planning before they appeared?

How were humans created from dirt?

Why were humans given free will and then killed for using this free will?

Inbreeding in modern society has been proven to cause genetic faults, why wasn't this the case with the early humans? If they (Adam and Eve and their kids) didn't inbreed, where did all the other humans come from?

What's so bad about gay people?

How did Mary get pregnant if she was a virgin?

  • Why does everyone here like the same music?

You all seem to post 'Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Led Zep, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Who' etc, etc. Once I've read the first band in your list I can pretty much put money on the rest of the list. Why do you all like the same music?

Also, there's a second list that usually always involves 'MCR, All Time Low, You Me at Six, Asking Alexandria, Blink 182 and Bring Me the Horizon'. It annoys me that you all seem to have the same bands in your lists.

  • Why is Chris Brown popular?

He's an aggressive, wife beating thug who uses sob stories to appeal to his militant fans. He doesn't seem to show any remorse for what he did to Rihanna (She's an idiot for going back to him) and his fan base is a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Perhaps the thing that annoys me most is how he sets a bad example to the 12 year old girls that like his music. I've seen his twitter feed. Many of his fans are female yet they defend his misogynistic and hateful actions as if he actually cares about these people personally. These extremists defend his actions to the point where they'd be prepared to kill for him. Isn't sending death threats an offence? Well his fans do it all the time, even when people just criticise his music. Even then, they have been known to send death threats.

Chris Brown and his fan base are the scum of the Earth.

  • Why is the Bible a respected book?

It shows similarities to Mein Kampf, S.C.U.M and the BNP's Manifesto. It advocates genocide, rape, execution of homosexuals (and basically any other wrong-doers).

Then it has the cheek to make a sequel and say "nah, we never meant any of that. Jesus is a nice guy (he isn't, he killed another kid but this part was left on the cutting room floor (True story, look it up)), listen to him instead".

I don't think the Christian god is fit for worship. Also the very idea of a god is something a lunatic would come up with.

  • Why is the Bible a Manifesto of Iniquity? Piss-Christ?

Why does the bible contain so many immoral phrases? why does god tell people to kill homosexuals? What exactly did they do wrong in the first place? Why are women considered the 'property' of men, and why does god let men take random females as wives and rape them (after they've sacked and looted a small fishing community)? I don't agree with the bible. I don't think the christian god is fit for worship.

  • How is Iggy Pop still alive?

Is his corpse being kept alive by all those drugs? Or is he some sort of sick puppet made by a bored, lonely David Bowie?

  • What defines a 'hardcore fan'?

I was just wondering how you'd define a hardcore music fan. I've considered myself a massive Manic Street Preachers fan since I started listening to them.. but I know there are more people who probably think they're more of a 'hardcore' fan than I am. I only started listening to them about two years ago, but now I have every album, all the singles / b-sides, live DVDs etc. I even have the book Nicky Wire (bass player & best person ever) wrote, "Death of a Polaroid". And I've been to see them once, but it was at a festival and nobody else in the crowd seemed to like them..

So what, to you, defines a hardcore music fan? Give examples, etc. You know the drill.

  • Aren't you sick of people with the same music taste?

    The Who

    Pink Floyd

    Led Zeppelin

    Deep Purple

    Foo Fighters

    Black Sabbath

    Metallica

    Rolling Stones

    Jimi Hendrix

    The Beatles.

Don't you get tired of having the same music taste as 90% of the Y!A population? And for people who don't have this taste - don't you get sick of seeing it, or am I the only one?
