For almost a year I've been trying to write stories that I can use to shoot a short film on and I am NEVER satisfied with what I have. Or sometimes, what I have is difficult to shoot with the resources I have. All I want is something simple and sweet but beautiful. A pieces that explores the beauty in love, in sadness, or in happiness. I mean, I'd love to explore some sci-fi, drama, action, and suspense as well but IDK!

I'm just so lost. I want to be a fantastic filmmaker but I need help with creating a beautiful story.

If you are a writer or just someone who thinks they can help me and perhaps even partner up with me, I'd LOVE THAT!

I have to do a documentary for my final project but I don't have a CLUE what/who to do it on!!! And it's due in a month! I need to be able to have easier access to things as opposed to trying to get, say, an interview with a famous person or something.

But I also want it to be good! Please give me a lot of different ideas. I have the potential to pull off something good but my brain just won't work right now.

Please help. It can be conventional camera, light, interviewee OR a quiet, follow someone around to see what their life is life OR something cinematic of a place/person OR stop motion! SOMETHING!! lol

To be more exact, when I plug in my Lacie rugged hard drive or my flip camera they do not appear on the desktop. However, I don't believe anything is wrong with the computer because I can still access them when I search using the finder or the spotlight. As I mentioned before I am an iMac. I just got the thing today and I've been messing with it for hours. The reason I'm asking is because we use iMacs in school and when ever I plug in my hard drive into their computers it pops up on the desktop. My computer won't do that for me. PLEASE HELPPP!! lol Thanks!

In my tv studio class one of our projects is to create a gameshow. Me and my team need some help shaping the concept a little bit more. This is all we know:

-It has to be EXACTLY 5 minutes long.

-We want to make a spin off of "Who Want's To Be A Millionaire?" mixed with the family game "Jenga."

However, we're not sure about how to go about the rest of the game. Should we have 2 people going against each other or should we have just one person going at it? Rewards? Involve trivia?

So far we have NOTHING! Please help us out with the idea in details please. Thank you so much!

I've had my flip for a little over year and I've decided to re-try to make it work but I just can't figure out the problem. I'm not too computer savvy but I've tried uninstalling then installing the drive and that didn't do anything. I do think that I know what the problem is but I'm not sure how to fix it. I was using my flip on my laptop and then one day I decided to use it on one of the macs at school. It worked well. However, when I brought it back to my laptop nothing would happen. Since then, I am only allowed to use it on macs.....problem is, I own a pc. Please help. This would really mean a lot to me.

I'm an aspiring editor/filmaker and I need some help choosing the colors to my bedroom. In my new home, my bedroom will have 4 walls (perfect square) and only frames around my closet, entrance, and window. There are no borders. I want to use 2 colors. I prefer darker colors, but if you can convince me with light colors, I'll consider it. Please help me. I'm a dude by the way so no pink. Thx!

I have a project due in May and the goal is to interview anyone. It can be a family member, store owner, etc. However, I want to interview someone interesting like a clown or adrenaline junky to kinda spice up my grade. Any ideas?

I am 18 years old and she's turning 40. We both want to lose over 100+ lbs. She works and I go to school but we both get summer and winter vacations off (june-august/December-january.) Are there any camps that we could consider to help assist us in changing our diets as well as drastically losing weight. You know how as you're editing a video on Vegas Pro 9 and it allows you to see how the video is being edited. Well it's not allowing me to see the video at all. I can only view the timeline but not the video im editing. Please help me get the window back :(

I have established the schools first "Green Committee", however due to the economy crisis going on my school can't afford half the things I ask for such as a fish tank. Will someone please tell me some sites or numbers that are willing to help schools with making their school green for free or for a very good discount. Oh and my school is in New York.

I know I want to go to college for genetics,but I don't know the exact major in genetics i want to take. What I like deals with the advancement of humans as well as animals and plants. I will give one example of what I mean:

We have a fish that can survive in very extreme cold water temperatures. Then we have a plant that cannot. We take the enzymes in the fish that give it its ability and we put it into the plants DNA sequencing structure. Now, the plant can grow in very cold climates.

Pretty much, I'm saying that I am into the MODIFICATION of an organisms "insides" to make it more advanced for its environment. So back to question one.........What is that called in genetics?

Why must so many people in our world distcriminate against others based on our characteristics, no matter if we're skinney, fat, old, young, black, white, chinese, tall, short, all of that nonsense. Or the girl who sits in the back of class because people tell her that she stinks, or the girl who sits in the front of class because she likes to learn and she wants to be a teacher or a doctor to show others what she can do. What has anyone done to those that are picked on in their every day lives. Are they just jealose! I just hate seeing such things, it makes me wanna explode into a millions pieces of respect, so that I can sprinkle it all over our WORLD so that NO ONE has to deal with this anymore. Its just not fair. Somebody answer me.

My printer says jammed but there is nothing inside of it. I tried opening and closing everything possible but it just won't work. I think something else is wrong. Please help.
