  • Final Fantasy Gameboy Advance?

Hey FF fans, I was planning on getting either:

Final Fantasy 1 & 2 Dawn of Souls or...

Final Fantasy IV, for the Gameboy Advance.

    Which do you honestly recommend?

And... is IV the same as II in this case? I'm confused on this.

I'm going on a 20 hour road trip and Yoshi's Island just may not cut it! Hahah.

    Thanks.

  • Complicated Sims 2 Install, Uninstall, question.?

So my quad core CPU regrettably stutters on occasion with my base Sims 2 game I've had since 04' so for the longest time since I went from my Core Duo to my Quad Core I had only the The Sims 2 installed without the 8 expansions I bought, to avoid stutter. Core Duo has less stutter, Quad core has more because the game only uses one core.

Well recently I installed Apartment Life and backed up my Sims 2 base game data in case I uninstall, well I have been playing and the stutter is quite bearable, but it is a tad worse. So my question is.

If I install a less CPU hungry EP on top of Apartment Life and then uninstall Apartment Life leaving let's say IKEA Stuff pack, will my saved game be deleted.

I am just curious. I mean if it comes to uninstalling Apartment Life and losing a generation of family, whatever. I'll start of where my backup data left of.

Do you know if I uninstall Apartment life after installing an earlier EP if my save data will be lost? Or can I continue my generation.

Just trying to make a last effort to save the generation even if they go naked and furniture less from Apartment Life content being uninstalled haha.

    That is my question.

P.s Setting affinity, doesn't help and only applies to base game.

Setting priority, kinda helps, but again only applies to base game.

Video card is not the issue its the CPU.

God I've even wanted to downgrade my CPU but think the Quad Core plays my GTA IV smoothly, whenever I do play it. But I have been playing Sims 2 and 3 alot lately.

    PLEASE, and thank you.

  • Xbox 360 Games Bought & Downloaded Off The Market?

I want to buy Fallout 3 off the Game marketplace, but I have a question. Obvio.

Do I have to be signed into Xbox Live to play it like DLC or will it play logged off.

If I have to be signed in should I just get the physical game?

P.s. Once I bought the DLC for Red Faction Guerilla and when I moved to my brothers house and went to play it I had to be logged in. There was no internet there, not even a house line we all had cell phones.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Connecting Console to LCD Monitor?

    Will this:

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Hosa+Technology+-+3.5m...

    Work with this:

    http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.asp...

I hope so cuz after hours of watching a bunch of videos on how to do it I narrowed it down to this way.

PS: My monitor has speakers in it with the green tip cable so all I would have to do is connect it to the 3.5mm TRSF-to-Dual RCA Cable from my monitor?

  • A Computer Processor Question?

I want to upgrade, or possibly downgrade? My CPU.

    I have an:

    AMD II X4 620 (2.6 Ghz)

But, some programs (Sims 2) don't run well on quad core CPU's (I noticed my prior PC with a Intel Duo Core played it better with the 'weaker' card that I had) and now that I did research I saw that this game only utilized one core. ONE. Heheh so it stutters and since I spent hundreds of dollars on almost the whole collection I would like for it to play properly.

Well, I need some suggestions because I don't know what Duo Core to get..

I have a (In case of 'bottle neck' issues):

    PNY 9800GT GPU

    BFG 450 Watt PSU

I would really appreciate an opinion or suggestion. I am trying to stay below $200.

PS. I don't want a new CPU to affect my Sims 3 game play. Just In case.

  • GTA IV & The Sims 3...?

Alright so I know a lot of people play these games fine and may have graphic cards worth 2 PS3's and such heheh, but has anyone had issues with these games.? ( I know a lot of people have, and there are forums and such but I only have a Yahoo question account)

I have a 9800 GT (PNY PE) and these games do have these little 'glitches' (patches and everything.) I have had GTA IV for a while now and last time I played it was 2 months ago until today, so after playing it for a bit and adjusting the graphics cuz I am obsessive even at 60 FPS on certain low settings heheh.. Well I figured I guess it not worth it. I mean to play it how its meant to be played you have to get the newer cards and seriously I can get a ps3 and a cheap/nice school laptop heh. So I am just gunna uninstall GTA IV since its better for Console.

NOW for The Sims 3, I don't mind the stutter here or there since alot of people have it...still. Hm just wondered if anyone had any comments I like hearing people's say.

My system (Been through a few Graphics Cards.. heheh):

    Windows 7 64bit

    AMD II X4 620 (2.6ghz)

    8 GB RAM

    PNY 9800GT PE (Power Efficient)

    More technical:

    450 BFG PSU

    Hm... HP Brand

Just want to hear comments if anyone cares to leave one heheh.

    I do Play Prototype fine.

It's one of my faves along with my almost complete collection of the Sims 2 (which I don't bother to install em all) which stutters cuz it only uses one core of my quad core. Darn. (even if I try to set Affinity or Priority which I don't really since sometimes it lets me and sometimes it doesn't.) I thought my CPU had issues but no it seems programs don't use quad Cores all that great, at least some I guess.

I also own Assasins Creed (first one) Its actually alright heheh and yeah this one plays fine too.

    THANKS!

  • Should I have gone with the 9800GT?

Alright So I went to Best buy to get a PNY 9800GT and before I got it, I asked one of the guys there if he would go for the 9800GT or the Visiontek HD 4670... He said the 4670 hands down because PNY is cheap and brand talk etc.I had a PNY GT 240 which was pretty nice actually. Well Anyways I got the HD 4670... should I have gone with the PNY 9800GT. If so I am going back because I was planning on getting the 9800 anyways..
