I am 16 turning 17 in September but i was thinking of a summer job, will Petsmart hire me for the summer as a 16 going on 17 year old, just a question. I was going in to ask anyway, but just wanted some reference. (or does it depend on the manager or whatever, i heard sometimes they let it pass)

I am considering a rescue boxer (brindle coloured) mix or a weimerainer mix (maybe both haha)in a Florida no-kill shelter that i volunteer at, but i live in Florida. If i decide to go travel back to Ontario in Canada, up and down from Florida, i am afraid that they will not allow my dog(s) inside the country, because of possible B.S.L. against pit bulls.

I love pit bulls, and i am just afriad they will just ASSUME that they are pit bulls and not allow them into the country.

The weimareiner mix does have that orange-beige colour and a pittie face.

Does anyone know where i can get this information, to CONFIRM or check with immigration. Is there a site?

Or MORE INFORMATION?! Do you think i would need to get a DNA testing?

btw, i am a Canadian citizen.

I'm chinese born Canadian, my mother is chinese (peranakan) and my father is chinese (hakka). Anyway i was just wondering, but have your parents ever told you that it is a waste of time to teach you about the culture? My mother's side is pretty close to us, so of course i know much more about the peranakan culture.

However my father, doesnt seem interested in teaching me anything about his heritage.

Both of my parents tells me, that I should be studying and focusing on school, which is so typical -.-'

but my father doesnt want to teach me about the hakka heritage.

Both my parents are from Singapore and my father's family isnt close at all, and when he was growing up, his parents didnt speak mcuh Hakka to him, because my grandmother was educated in english.

My aunt on my mother's side teaches me about the peranakan culture and I do speak Malay, not fluently but well :)

My father, says that it is a waste of time for me to be studying Hakka language,

1. because it is a dialet

2. because there is no one to speak to

3. because i should be studying for school

4. because i should be studying for the standardized tests and crap

5. because it is a waste of time.

And i agree with him that it is not a dialet but it is party of my culture, and everyone who succeeds knows where they come from.....

I am interested in learning where i came from and my culture.

Is there any advice that you people can help me? Or anyone know this kind of situation before?

I love "Pit bull" type breeds but i live in Ontario, where Pitties are banned. Do you think that they will ever change the law. These beautiful creatures deserved to be in Ontario....

btw, i moved to Florida for school, but my dad lives in Ontario and in Florida, i volunteer at a no-kill shelter, where there are pit bull mixes, thats how I fell in love with them. I just wanted to know if any of you, knew how the ontario ban was going? I heard that they are still trying to fight the law which is good and i really hope that they change it.... :/

I love "Pit Bull" types. I volenteer at a no kill shetler, where there are pit bulls and mixes. I know their true nature, but I HATE IT, when i hear ignorant people that know NOTHING about these wonderful dogs and just say that they are dangerous and mean and aggressive. ... My parents are an example.... they are very ignorant and it doenst matter how much I tell them, or try to explain to them that It is how the dog is raised and trained, NOT THE BREED. they dont wanna listen...

Anyway, What do you guys think? :)

BTW, if you are a HATER and just want to show off how much you dont know about the breed and say bad things about them, then dont comment, because your wasting your time..... :)

I dont usually get pimples too often, however, when I do get them, i get them on my forehead. Over the past 2 years, i've been having these, spots, well I'm not sure if they are spots but it ressembles something like after you pop a pimple. I dont remember popping any of my pimples. Does anyone know what these sports are? and How to cure them?
