God, being defined as most great or perfect, must exist, since a God who exists is greater than a God who does not.

It's not a huge piece of evidence, but it's the only one that supports Jesus' existence that actually looks like it could mean something.

Christianity is full of violence as is the bible. The Bible even condones violence against slaves and children. God utilizes violence to exact his will in the world. So why is it frowned upon so greatly by Christians?
What's the difference between reading a sickening, gory book about God and reading a sickening, gory book about a murderer?
Would you let your kids watch The Passion of the Christ before Hostel or some other gory movie?

I read about this in a novel, but I completely forgot the name of it. I believe that it's an adjective form of a name followed by "period" or something. Ex. Brownian Period (not it, I checked).

Does using such circular logic actually make anybody believe that they are correct?
An example would be the Bible. It says that God is true and that you should praise him. However, how do we know that the Bible itself is true? Well because God wrote the Bible and god knows everything and doesn't lie. How do we know that God is omniscient and that he doesn't lie? Because the Bible says so.
You see, at no point is there any external evidence. It all occurs inside the matrix of the Bible.
