Taking our 2nd family trip to Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan, AL. This year we are staying an entire week. What are some fun things to do besides the beach? Maybe even things that most people don't know about? (4 grandparents, 4 adults, 4 children 2-7)

Never had to buy a used car before, but I just totaled mine, so here we are. Id love to hear from some salesmen/ ex-salesmen about the do's and dont's when I go to the lot so I get the best deal and don't get taken advantage of. I know it's their job, I just want to know I got a fair, even better, an excellent deal when I leave.

We are planning a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama this summer and I notice the price of beach houses goes down dramatically at the beginning of August. Is August too deep into hurricane season to try to plan a trip or is it usually OK? Is the price drop just because its the end of summer?

We're headed from Texas to Ft. Morgan (next to Gulf Shores) this week and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if its quicker to go all the way around Mobile and down to Gulf Shores and then over to Ft. Morgan, or if its quicker to take the ferry from Dauphin Island?

Ive been looking for some Dallas Cowboy tickets for my wifes birthday coming up, and neither of us have been. The only half-way reasonable tickets are in the nosebleed sections. I know they have the huge screens there, but I dont want to be at the game and have to watch it on a TV. Are those nosebleed seats still any good? Id like some opinions of people who have been there.

Our previous landlord is trying to keep the majority of our security deposit, and we feel he is just being cheap and trying to screw us out of money. We were never late on rent, kept the property in good shape (even made small repairs at our own cost), and were great tenants. We are thinking of taking legal action, so I would really appreciate some opinions about some key points in our arguement:

1) Water heater busted. He made no attempt to clean up the mess. We rented a wet-vac and spent hours sucking the carpet dry and using our own towels to keep our belongings from being ruined and to keep the carpet from molding. He tried replacing the water heater himself, and according to a professional plumber, ignored a city ordinance requiring it to be inspected since its a gas water heater inside city limits, along with a few other details about the water heater he failed to have meet city code.

2)He was 3 days late getting our deposit and itemized deduction form to us (lease states 30 days). He didnt even mail it, he had to come by our new house and drop it off.

3) When we moved out, he made repairs he felt necessary and deducted it from our deposit BEFORE he and I had a final walk-through.

Do these things give us a fighting chance to get our full deposit back? We have always been good renters and we feel he is cheap and trying to take advantage of us.

We moved out of the property, which we cleaned once we were fully moved out. The landlord finally called to do a final walk-through, but failed to mention he had already gone into the property and made repairs he felt were necessary. He deducted these repairs from our security deposit. I was under the impression that we were supposed to have a final walk-through together before any repairs or things like that were done. He wasn't the best landlord, and we feel he is just trying to find a way to have one last jab at us before we are totally gone. What are our rights in this situation?

Id give up Frank Gore and Wes Welker for AJ Green and Charles Clay. Gonzo might be hurt, and all the other elites arent swapping teams, so I might need a good replacement. Ive got Charles and Moreno as RB, so losing Gore wont hurt. Seem fair?

It seems like a close call.... Panthers are better, but playing the 49ers. Ravens arent that bad, and have a better matchup against the Bengals. Roll with the Panthers or hope that the Ravens step up?

I re-lit my pilot for the winter, turned the switch back to the "on" position. I set the thermostat, and it clicks, but the furnace does not start up. The pilot stays lit, but nothing is happening.

I took the panel off and there is a safety switch that stumped me for the first winter. (the switch that is pressed when the panel is on. When you take the panel off, it cuts the furnace off as a safety feature.) I know the panel is in the correct place and the switch is pressed properly (I even taped it down momentarily to make sure). Once though, with my finger, I kept clicking the switch at a pretty fast pace. After about 4 seconds it fired up, I kept it down as I put the cover back on, and thought it was working. Once the temp. was set, it turned back off but has not come back on. I tried clicking the switch again, but nothing. Any suggestions?

Ive got Charles as my RB1 and had Gore and Richardson swapping as my RB2, but Moreno is coming out as the primary back in the RB commitee in Denver. Should I start Moreno against Jacksonville instead of Gore?

Ive got Gonzales on a bye and Bennet is a game time decision tomorrow against the Giants. Should I play it safe and go ahead and pick up Graham (against St. Louis), or do you think Bennet would be the safer bet?

I've got Jamaal Charles as my other back, so the only decision is Gore or Richardson. I've been starting Richardson, but the 49ers finally decided to run the ball last week and Gore blew up. Any thoughts?

Ive always been an active guy, and in pretty good shape. Over the last 3 years Ive slacked off a bit on keeping in great shape. I used to run alot and just stay pretty active in general. Ive had 2 kids, and paired with a rotating shift job, my time for the gym hasn't been a priority. Im wanting to hit the gym hard, but not really sure what type of gameplan to have.

I dont want to bulk up, just get back toned, and lose the 10 lbs. around my waist I have gained. Ive never done a toning workout before, so Im not really sure where to start. I am planning on mixing up high-rep/low weight workouts and as much cardio and abs I can possibly do. Any tips on getting started on the right path?

Ive got Richardson and Charles as my 2 RB's, with Gore and Moreno as back ups. WR are T. Smith, Cruz, and Welker. TE are Gonzales and Bennett (Gonzo has let me down so far :-/). Could I get a top 5 WR or TE for Gore straight up?

I have Foster and Wallace (neither have done much of anything this season) and a guy offered me Jamaal Charles for both. He is a big Texans fan so I think that has something to do with it. Looks like a good deal to me, Im set at WR so I wont miss Wallace. Thoughts?

I know he just got traded, but is there any reason he wouldn't be able to play this Sunday?

Our water heater busted in our duplex that we rent. I know the water heater is his responsibility, but the shop-vac that we rented was about $40. Is that the landlords responsibility too, or is that out of our pocket? (We have renters insurance, but nothing got damaged, just the carpet got wet)
