BQ: How's your life been without hockey?

So, my parents are kind of pushing me to get baptized. Well I really do trust in God and believe in him its just latelyy i haven't really been close with him.I feel bad. My parents keep bringing up the baptism that is coming up at our church. They say they're not pushing me into it but know if I say Im not ready they will get mad and dissappointed and say "Why don't you trust in God"? But I'm just not ready. Really, any way I'm going to end up doing it. Im just scared because at this church you have to make a testimony video and it plays in front of the whole church. im really shy and awkward. Im also worried that I will be the only one getting baptised. I feel like God won't like me either because this baptism won't be fully legtamite. Will I like, go to hell becaue of his :( Please help.

So basically I have swim practice every morning but this week I am going straight to volunteer at a camp and I need my hair to look good. Given the limited amount of time I have, all I can use is a hairbrush and hair dryer. My hair is medium length, and mostly naturrally straight. I'd prefer to use a straightener, but don't have the time. Is there any tricks or tips you have for me on the best way to style my hair?? Ohh and I have mild layers.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that every other question in this here hockey section is about the riot in Vancouver. I mean geez, I think everyone now knows about it and can judge for themselves what they think.

It also bothers me (but maybe its just me) that now half the questions are about whos better sid or ovi. Like how many times is this going to have to be asked.

You people must get tired of me.

Before I start, I'd just like to say I am not a immature, whiny, little fan.

So now that things are straight,

I love hockey. Don't start hating me right now on the spot, but I am a Pens fan. I saw every game. Lived it. Breathed it. Sure, maybe I took things a little far, I mean it IS a game of which I am not personally connected to any of the players whatsoever and probably never will be, but some losses I couldn't handle. I cried. Dayum, that sounds stupid but I did. I'm a girl, just saying, but I am NOT a puck bunny and I do thoroughly understand the game. But no matter how disappointed or upset I was, or how many times I said I'd never watch another game, I always was there the next game. And that was always true. And I knew we wouldn't win the cup this year. I know you're supposed to believe in your team no matter what and stuff like that. But really it just wasn't going to happen. But I kept telling myself maybe it would. And I really thought I'd be really disappointed if we didn't win the cup. Even though I knew it wouldn't happen. But I wasn't. I just... I don’t know it just didn’t bother me. And I kept myself busy with the rest of the playoffs. And then Boogaard died. And i honestly barely knew anything about him. But I don’t know. It hit me. And I don’t even know why. But I moved on and then the Bruins won the cup eventually. But I just don't feel a passion for hockey anymore. It bothers me. I mean, it's such a big part of my life and I don’t know why I just don't have that passion now. I used to be so into it. Now I’m not. But I still love it. what’s wrong with me? Is it that maybe I just feel like there’s no hope for my team anymore? Or something else?

Any advice/observations?

BQ: Now that hockey season’s over, how will you spend the summer until next season?

Theres this guy who gooes to my school. We barely ever talk. No, scrattch that we NEVER have talked partly because I'm new. Anyway... I think he's really hot. How should I like talk to him... whaat should I say to start a conversation? Should I even start th conversation or wait for him to notice me? And is it wierd that:

1. Im attractted to guys voices? Like idk, I just like thhe sound of some guys voices.

2. Something that attracts me to that kid I mentioned up there is that he can get like ... mad? Idk. Hes not mean, its just when he was a little angry the other day I found that really hot. I think its wierd. It probably iss. But yaa.

First off, I am not here to diss anyone's teams. I just wanted people's opinions out of curiosity.

So,

Which loss did you think was more embarassing? The Caps losing the series 4-0 against Tampa or the Penguins losing in Game 7 against Tampa?

I kinda need to vent and kinda need advice and opinions.

Im basically addicted to hockey. I live, sleep ,breathe it. Im from Pittsburgh, PA and support the Penguins. Sure, their losses sometimes make me mad, but I aways find myself watching another game anyway. But, I honestly cannot believe their preformance. Like, was that seriously the playoffs? Losing 5-1, 8-2, 4-2, and then last night.... what IS that? Who DOES that? Oh thats right, the Penguins. Honestly, I thought last night before the game that if they lost I´d be so mad, and maybe even cry... but you know, at first I denied it. I thought, It cant be. Then the realization hit me. Im NEVER going to like any other team, I really do only like the Pens. But truthfully, i guess i was...dissapointed. I´m losing hope for the Pens. Second Guessing my judgement. Will we EVER get another Cup? Is Fleury REALLY good? Because I mean, he gave up 18 goals in four games. And i really think he´s losing it. Geno is just... idk not as ´great´. Sid, well, let´s not discuss him. And compared to the other teams that made it into the playoffs... I wondering how we even MADE it into the first round.

So i guess my questions are,

1.Do you consider Pittsburgh a ´good´ team?

2. Should I keep cheering for them, even if things look really, really, bad?
