Honestly, there are people in this section with genuine questions and answers. But there are too many people who like to post questions that say homosexuality is immoral, unnatural, and down right disgusting when they have no business being in this section with those kind of "questions." There are also too many idiots that like to say that homosexuality or bisexuality is immoral, unnatural, and shouldn't happen and they even use "science" to back up their claims when there is no scientific backing for these kind of people. I know I'm ranting but I'd just like to know why these people come onto the LGBT section and post stupid stuff. There is even a so called "student psychologist" on here that keeps saying that homosexuality is a mental illness when it isn't, he doesn't even give scientific evidence to back his claim, all he does is make his claims and then leave without giving any real scientific evidence to back them up.

So, why do so many idiots post stupid questions and answers in the LGBT section then try to play them off as if they're being genuine when they are just insulting an entire group of people for being who they are?

I researched this subject and found 15 pros and 12 cons to gay marriage. I also researched "traditional" marriage and found 7 pros and 12 cons.

So, exactly what effects will gay marriage have on society?

When homosexuality can't be cured. Many of the "cures" I have seen have been nothing but torture techniques that scar the individual and do not do anything to change the sexual orientation of the individual.

I think it shows that family is what you make of it and not what society tells you what makes up a family.

I find that it's a good way to show that family is what you make of it and not what society dictates a family should be.

It's not like straight couples rights will be taken away or anything of that nature. The definition of marriage will change so that it will include another minority.

Bestiality is often considered a type of animal abuse. Pedophilia is non consenting in one party and is torture to the younger party. I don't really have a problem with incest but it bothers me that people draw parallels between the two. Necrophilia is non consenting in one party.

Homosexuality and heterosexuality have more in common than the others I mentioned. The only difference that I see with a heterosexual relationship and a homosexual relationship is the fact that one is a same sex relationship and the other isn't.

There is no evidence of homosexuality being genetic but there is evidence of homosexuality being an INBORN trait. Hormones in the mother's womb can turn a fetus gay. Hormones is what makes sexuality inborn not genetics. Where did people get the idea of homosexuality being genetic?

I mean...they are every where. Men and women holding hands, hugging, kissing each other. Its happening in the public areas, in music, on TV news, sitcoms, commercials, all the movies. Why do they have to shove it down our throats? Okayyyyy..we know your straight!!!! Why is it every time they get married we all have to hear about? REALLY?

This is very similar to what straights say about gays (just phrased to be directed at the majority). Here is the problem, many people claim that gays are "shoving" their lifestyle down everyone's throats when in reality what really happens is gays pushing for equality. So, anything that pushes for equality or already shows equality can be consider "shoving" something on someone else (according to most people's logic). How about we quit claiming things that aren't happening and learn to treat everyone equally and let them have equality? Is that to much to ask?
