  • Is anyone else disappointed that Liam is gone from DOOL and hate it when actors are hired on short term contracts?

I really liked Liam and even though he got off to a slow start, his character really amped it up and was given so much screen time. Its funny because he was always listed as a recurring cast member. I had no idea he was on a short term contract until this week when it was reported with what was happening.

That is why I hate it in general when the show hires cast on short term contracts. It just makes the storylines kind of predictable. Like a few years back when Chloe was last on the show, we knew it was for 3 months and it was a nice storyline, but at the end of the day it was so predictable because we knew she would wreak havoc for a while.....but at the end of the day it was obvious that Daniel/Jennifer would prevail.

Same with Sheryl coming for her 3 months. She was good, but we knew her character wasn't here for anything long term and would not have much long term ramifications.

The real sad thing is when we get attached to some of the short term characters and they are gone.

    Anyone else agree with this?

BQ: Does anyone else like how Daniel has such close relationships with many male characters. Him and Rafe got close for a bit when he was attacked and in the coma. They've also used each others services for a while. Daniel and Brady have always been very tight and I think Brady refers to him as his best friend (or maybe Daniel said that). Now, its nice to see him get so close with Eric during the past few months. I really like the way their friendship has blossomed.

  • On Days, does anyone else think that Stefano and Nick may be working together in some way and Stefano actually helping Nick in scheming?

I really don't have anything to substantiate this other than today's episode when EJ's doctor was revealed to be one of Stefano's people. That would lead people to believe that Stefano knows of EJ's affair with Abigail and has something planned.

Before this, I thought that Nick was the one who knew of the affair and took the pictures of them together. Based on that, I thought it could make some sense if they were working together because Stefano has no problem tormenting Kate and Sami, although he has nothing against Will.

But I can see how he may be involved in helping Nick in some sort of way although it is probably unlikely.

  • On Days is anyone else excited for Lucas' reaction & confrontation with EJ when EJ/Abigail's affair is revealed to everyone?

Especially since in Tuesday's episode Lucas mentioned that since Jack died if anyone hurts Abigail they will have to answer to him. Based on that, he should have a lot to say to EJ when this becomes public and I always love any interaction with Lucas and EJ.

Lucas is very feisty and never backs down, but EJ never seems to take him seriously and I remember one time he referred to Lucas as an, "irritating little twit".

Also, it kind of reminds me of when Abigail and Austin were thought to have had a fling and Lucas said to Austin, "I cant believe you slept with my niece", haha.

It should be good when this comes out and its only about a month-6 weeks away since the wedding is in May and this is something that is perfect to come out at the wedding!

  • On Days, has anyone else found that Eric has become one of their favorite characters & feel bad for his ordeal?

I've been a big fan of Greg Vaughan ever since he debuted over a year ago and he has done an awesome job re-inventing the character. I'm sure if you ask most actors, playing a priest would be one of the difficult roles to prepare for and deliver in a convincing manner. To make it even harder this was a returning character from one of the core families of the show and I think he quickly made the character his own and has done a great job.

As for Eric, the only thing he has done remotely wrong since returning to Salem is accusing Nicole of the incident and I don't even think that was that bad. Any rational person in that position would think Nicole was the one responsible given all the facts that he knew and how everything came together pointing to Nicole. I have absolutely no sympathy for Nicole since she has gone unpunished for a lot of her actions in the past.

That's why currently I feel bad for Eric since he was taken advantage of and now taking abuse from everyone in the community, his family and friends. He just cant seem to find a break and has pretty much lost everything.

Two other good guys on the show who have been in similar positions are Rafe and Daniel...but the key difference is that Eric wasn't trying to cover for anyone or being noble and sacrificing himself for another person. He literally did nothing wrong and was pretty much blindsided by this.

    I really like him.

  • Has there been any talk or rumours of Grown Ups 3 being done and if it has been green lit?

I haven't checked IMDB yet, but it doesn't seem like there has been anything official yet regarding number 3.

I just watched the sequel a few days ago and loved it just as I did with the original. Obviously there are some flaws in the movie but I loved it!

I was glad to read that both movies did great in the box office despite getting ripped to shreds by critics. That is why I would think a third instalment would be almost a certainty.

Its nice to know that people do not just blindly follow along with critics and made this franchise a huge success.

    Hopefully there is a third!

  • After a movie is released, is there a certain period of time or some rule before it can appear on network TV?

The reason I ask is because sometimes movies that were released like 2 years ago appear on TV so anyone can watch them, but sometimes movies from around the same time of release are still appearing on MovieCentral and not free tv.

Example, The Help (2011) is still only shown on MovieCentral , which is a channel you have to pay extra for. However, Mr Popper's Penguins (2011) is going to be shown on a basic cable channel (YTV) in the coming weeks as it is listed on the guide.

So, is there any rule for when movies can appear on TV? I am thinking it may have something to do with how well the movie did in the box office or something like that.

I have tried researching it and had no luck, so help would be great.

    Thank you :)

  • Is anyone else excited for DOOL next week after seeing the weekly preview?

I actually only saw 11 of the 15 seconds before it keeps freezing...but that was just enough to reach the highest level of anticipation for a week of Days since one of Sami's wedding secrets came out or when Daniel found out about Philip and Chloe's fling.

I could only see the preview on the NBC Days site and it had Kristen's video playing at the wedding ceremony and Eric getting up to confront her until Brady stopped him and punched him in the face!!!

That was one of the best things I have seen on the show and its gonna be so good to have this play out because all the top players will be at the wedding, haha.

Only thing I do not like from this is the sympathy Nicole will get from Eric as I am enjoying her being accused of doing this to him. Just consider it punishment for something she has gotten away with.

Such as never actually being punished for lying about Jennifer killing her baby.

Its gonna be so good!!! and there are some people that complain about storylines taking too long to finish but this is the great pay-off and I don't mind long storylines if they are good like this one. If memory serves, Kristen drugged Eric and did it with him back in late June-early July so about 4 months isn't too long.

BQ: At the end of today's episode was anyone confused as to how Marlena changed her location during the last scene? She was at Daniel's office before the final commercial and then back from the break JJ and Daniel were there and Marlena was in another office at the end. Kind of confusing but no biggie!!

  • Has it been confirmed that Mr. Perfect will be in WWE 2K14 as an NPC at the very least for the WM 1992 match?

I read somewhere he is confirmed as a Non-Playable Character and that is kind of necessary since it would be impossible to have the Savage/Flair match without Perfect.

It would be so much better if he was included as a playable character and there is no reason they couldn't have that. If you already have his character model in the game, all you have to do is create the moveset, entrance, etc.

I guess it came down to if he was involved in any key WM matches that would be included in the mode.

At the very least it will be nice to see him in some capacity (the same as Paul Bearer, Mr. Fuji, Elisabeth, and Ricardo Rodriguez) but it would have been awesome to have him as playable.

I know some people are complaining about Piper not being in the game, article stated that was due to them not being able to get Mr. T in the game (for WM I) and that's why Piper isn't in it.

  • Does anyone else think James Scott should send in the scene where EJ begs Stefano for the people at the Emmys?

All actors have to send in scenes to the people at the Emmy's to be eligible for a nomination and I think for next year's Emmy's it is not going to get any better than the scenes from Sept 18/2013.

I have always said James Scott is the best actor on the planet and it is difficult to argue that after seeing those scenes.

I don't watch any other soaps, but I can say with great confidence there won't be anyone who tops that performance from James and if he does not win an Emmy for Best Actor it will be a travesty of epic proportions.

Also, has James Scott won an Emmy before? I am pretty sure he hasn't, so I hope this is the first1

    Thanks

  • Does anyone know if there is a full television biography done on Lou Gehrig?

I have tried looking online, but haven't really found a full biography, just small clips from his speech and later years.

On Wikipedia I am pretty sure it said A&E did a biography on Gehrig, but I had no luck finding anything. Come to think of it there is no excuse for A&E not having a biography on Gehrig considering that is one of the things they are known for and Gehrig is one of the most well known and respected men in history.

I would be shocked if there are no full biographies on Gehrig and it would be a shame if there is none.

I am aware of the movie the Pride of the Yankees, but I am looking for more of a biography and not movie type of thing.

Would appreciate the help in this, thank you :)

  • On Days does anyone else find it weird watching & knowing that someone like Chad is already done with filming?

Since they are so ahead in taping, I think they're already in October and Casey Deidrick has already wrapped up filming. But, he is still going to be around until October, so it is going to be weird watching for the next 3 months knowing that he is already gone.

It sucks that he is leaving and especially Will, but I think he will probably be around until March because his contract expires in December and with their rapid filming it should be around spring time.

I guess it is nice to watch them for the extra months knowing that they are gone already, but it is kind of weird knowing that they have already moved on to other endeavours.

But having Jen Lilley come in will definitely soften the blow :) Is there anyone else who could just stare into her eyes like all day? haha.

  • Does anyone know why Victoria Justice's music hasnt got much mainstream media attention or promotion?

I started watching Victorious a few months ago and its one of my favorite shows now. One of the bright sides of watching the episodes is all the good songs that are featured. But for someone who does not watch Victorious they probably would never hear of any of Victoria's music.

I saw a clip of her on Ellen and another talk show promoting 'Make it in America' but other than that there are no commericals, songs featured on the radio or any real mention of her.

This is confusing because she is a major start in the teen/tween demographic and someone like Miley Cyrus got so much more attention when she first started, but Victoria hasn't and I think even if someone didnt watch Hannah Montana...they would still hear of Miley's music and this is not the case with Victoria.

Anyone have theories as to why this is?

    Thanks :)

  • Last SD, was anyone else laughing their socks off when JBL made fun of Hornswoggle when he was being kicked?

It was when Epico or Primo were kicking him in the corner and JBL was like,

"You cant do that to Hornswoggle, can you? Doesn't PETA have rules against that?"

HAHA!!!!!! That was hilarious in it self since JBL had a serious tone Josh's response made it even better when he said in a sombre/serious/offended tone, "He's not an animal John, he's a human being."

That was honestly one of the funniest exchanges I have heard in a while and its one of the reasons I love that JBL is back. His teasing of Hornswoggle, which in this case was actually pretty mean!, haha and of course him picking on Josh for most of the broadcast. That will never get old!

  • Does anyone know if any media, news or entertainment outlets have picked up on the Rock's return to WWE?

I am thinking more attention will be given to this closer to WrestleMania, but since he has came back early until WrestleMania, I was wondering if any mainstream media outlets have mentioned it.

I am sure many will if they have not, given the Rock's worldwide popularity and that he is in high demand at the moment.

If anyone came across some stories or mentions please link them to me here!

    Thank you

  • Does anyone else think that the Rock coming back prove hes doing it for his love of wrestling & not the money?

There are always going to be some people who say that his return has to do with only the money, but that makes no sense because he is an A-list Super Celebrity. He definitely didnt need to return and he surely doesn't need the money since he has tons of movies coming up and is in high demand.

Not to mention the risk he is taking with possibly getting injured and effecting any current or future movie roles.

To put it simply, he has wayyyy more to lose than to gain from returning to the WWE and that is why his return proves that the only reason for it is his love and passion for the business.

  • Does anyone else agree with me that The Fresh Prince of Bel Air series finale is the most emotional ever?

Fresh Prince of Bel Air is my all time favorite show and I always watch the re-runs they never ever get old.

The 2 part series finale was on a few days ago and it always brings me close to tears just when you think about where the show started and how far everyone came.

    Emotional moments in particular:

When Will tells Uncle Phil that he doesnt want his last memory of him to be any different than his first.

When Will says to Uncle Phil that he doesnt want to go back to just being a relative again since for the past 6 years they have been family.

Will's scene in the poolhouse with Carlton. Uncle Phil telling him to give Jazz his best. Hilary asking Geoffrey to help with her bags but says jk and he picks them up anyway.

Geoffrey saying bye to Will saing, "Goodbye Master William" from a distance and then shakes his hand and says goodbye Will and then they hug.

There are plenty more but those stand out and I just think it was the perfect way to end a great sitcom and definitely a tearjerker....the final scene of the empty house always gives me goosebumps. But you also see how far the relationships between Will and the characters came throughout the series. Him and Uncle Phil grew close like father and son....in many ways he was the cool son that Uncle Phil never had and you always a looser, funner side of Phil when involved with Will.

You can say the similar with Will and Carlton as they became so close throughout the series. His relationship with Ashley is obvious since he taught her to think for herself and not be afraid to be independent.

It is weird how throughout the series he drifted apart from the Vivian character (of course there is the real life feud between him and the first Vivian) and that was symbolized by their goodbye being short and sweet and how after she was jumping with excitment about staying at the fancy hotel.

The Boy Meets World finale comes close as to being very emotional and a tearjerker, Full House and Home Improvement not so much.

I just feel that the Fresh Prince finale had the perfect blend of humor when there was obviously a vital emotional component to the show since it was the end.

Does anyone else agree? :) Thanks

  • Do people think that most of The Rock's fans are carry over WWE fans or fans since he started doing movies?

Since The Rock is like a legitimate A-Lister now and widely known and regarded by everyone in Hollywood I was wondering if most of his fans were from his WWE days and just followed over or if the majority of his fan base is from his film work.

If his fans are only from his films and moreso if any WWE or wrestling haters are his fan than they are total hypocrites because without his time in the WWE it is hard to say if the Rock would have achieved this level of success, (but I guess someone with his talent and charisma would've eventually had this success) or at least it would have taken him a longer time to reach this level.

Obviously producers and Hollywood people saw his work in the WWE (promos, catchphrases, charisma, etc) and thought he could transition into the film world.

So if someone is a fan of the Rock but constantly dumps on the WWE and harbors some of the generic stereotypes then they wouid be hypocrites since the WWE is where The Rock was created. Without the WWE platform he may have not had the chance to show off his skills and talents.

Does anyone else agree? :) Thanks

P.S. I am gonna ask this same question in the movies section a bit later and see how different the responses will be, haha.

  • Does anyone else think that Hugh Jackman is perfect for the role Nathan Drake if theres an Uncharted movie?

I just finished Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception today and was reading about it online to find out that a movie has been in the works for a long time but people keep pulling out of it.

From what I read, it seems like the movie will happen and the process has been going on for a few years.

For the role of Drake I heard some Nathan Fillon guy saying he would be perfect for the role and urging fans to encourage his cause, I heard someone suggest Jensen Ackles which would be a good choice, but I think Hugh Jackman would be perfect.

I can totally see him as being the guy going up against all the evil forces and overcoming every obstacle in his way. He has similar roles with the X-Men series and in the movie The Fountain I think he has that type of role. (Need to watch the Fountain still) There may be other movie roles he had that are similar, but I dont know.

On 60 Minutes they were previewing a peek at his workout regime so athletically he can do it all and we all know Drake is very athletic.

Thats why I think Hugh Jackman would be perfect as Drake, anyone else agree? :) Thanks

  • Was anyone else impressed & surprised when Alberto Del Rio pulled off & perfectly executed a moonsault on SD?

I am not surprised that ADR was able to do it since he is a great athlete and totally capable of it. However, when was the last time we saw anyone do a moonsault? It is a rare move these days and I remember Cody Rhodes being the most recent to do it.

Thats not to say other guys can't do it, but it is definitely a move that only certain guys can pull off.

Del Rio gets shortchanged soooo much by people and criticized unfairly but the bottom line is that he always has a good match with everybody and is one of the best athletes and performers on the roster.

Obviously I am a huge ADR fan, he is probably my favorite along with Wade, Sandow, Drew & Cody but I hate how he is being booked. Losing 3 times to Orton, losing to Cena last week and another loss vs Sheamus. I really dont know where his character is going, but I hope they build him up soon.

That moonsault tonight was perfect and the second one he attempted was even impressive how he rolled through. Hopefully that garners him some much deserved respect!
