I just moved to Texas and am looking for work, would like to apply for a civilian job at Goodfellow Air Force Base here, but I am not allowed to even go on the base to apply for a job without a sponsor. How does one go about getting a sponsor at Goodfellow?

And where do we vote her in??? I am STILL crying my eyes out on that performance...BRAVO, MS. WHITE

In the first 5 minutes of the "Forests" episodes about the Tiaga Forest, there is a species of bird that looks like a colorful species of turkey and we missed what it what called and it's driving us nuts...did anyone record the episode and can tell me what it was called so I can look up more information on it? Due to personal and financial reasons, I am temporarily staying with friends...the wife is a little bit of a control freak...as her husband says, she is not happy unless she is in control...she has been "fortunate" in this as her adult child has been sick most of his life and counts on his parents to survive--they own the house he's living in so she feels she can dictate who can and cannot be there, etc. The kids put up with it because they have no choice in this situation...anyhow, I have my own room here (that I have to share when the grand kids are over) and I give them whatever I can even though I am working less than part time and I do my best to help out with chores. On one hand she says she is happy if I help cook but then gets upset when I do. When I ask what I can do to be helpful, she insists there is nothing to do...then complains to others (who tell me) that I do nothing to help. She has complained to others I am always "in her face" so I spend a lot of time in my room (when I am allowed to) and then complains because I am hiding in here. She is always taking off and not telling me that she is even leaving but has a fit if I take off and don't leave a note as to where I am, etc. Obviously, I can't afford to move out right now and I don't want to lose her friendship either. It was her idea for me to come stay with them and now I feel unwanted most of the time. Is there something I can do to make things more "right" for her or a subliminal message I can tell myself to cope better?

Cannot get water pressure at the motor and the boss is out of town and I have 3 more jobs to do this week, want to try to resolve this issue myself...I have water pressure at the spicket but there's barely a dribble of water at the purge line and I can't find anything disconnected that I am aware of. Can't seem to find anything online to help me solve this problem.

I can't find anything online, not even a manual. Bought it used and there is a center axle inside surrounded by 3 more bars that contain "teeth" that are either loose and dangling or missing altogether. Obviously, it doesn't work right (although the motor is in excellent shape). Is there any way to tighten the teeth that are left, especially without disconnecting the clutch and flywheel and take it all the way out?

I love to fish and I do it a lot, mostly just me and my dog...sometimes it would be nice to have a fishing buddy or two.

I've been married almost 10 years. My husband goes through these periods where he's not sexual. I always blamed it on his age, as if he were going through male-menopause or he was bi-polar or something like that. He won't talk to me about it, so I don't know for sure. I figured since he wouldn't talk to me, maybe he would talk to someone he didn't know...I set up a fake mail account and contacted him, striking up a friendship with him. My online persona with him has made it blatantly obvious she wants a fling and he is making arrangements to "meet with her and see what happens". My heart sank when I read that line. I wasn't expecting him to potentially cheat on me, but that would explain his lack of interest in me, if he's getting it somewhere else. What do I do now? Do I continue this lie and arrange to meet him and see if he shows up or do I not reply and close the account and live with what I know? My guts are all twisted in knots. This man is the love of my life but this knowledge is eating me up.

I just saw the season finale and it felt like the series finale, with everyone leaving....it's one of THE best shows on tv...I can't find any info if it's cancelled or what's going on....HELP!!!!!!!

Sued former roommate/landlord and won--drunk who threw me out, refused to repay the rent I paid in advance. Waited 6 months and sent another demand letter for the money or go back to court for writ of execution, got a partial payment. Just came home from the hospital, wasn't major, but they thought heart problems. While at the hospital she called--drunk, prank call. Should I go to court anyways for writ or go big for harrassment as well?

I have a coin/medallion with this name on it (also says pont maximvs) and a rider on horseback slaying a dragon on the reverse and trying to find out more information on it. When I type it into my browser, every site is in German, French, or Italian, none of which I can read...just trying to find out the history of this coin and what it might be worth...it appears to be bronze, quite heavy (about a pound)...would like to give it to one of my grandchildren, but would like to tell them the history behind it as well...

My best friend in high school died 30 years ago and I would like to find her obit, can't remember her parent's names to look them up in her honor. I will be going back there around the anniversary of her death and want to lay flowers on her grave as well, I know where that's at.. I have tried everything I can think of, but all I could track down was her headstone records...they started a medical fund in her name, I was able to track that down too but it has apparently traded hands and mission statement... Would like to have a copy of her obit if possible...does anyone know how to go about finding this information? I can send you her vitals privately if that will help, just want to track down her parents and let them know I have not forgotten her...

I understand it was made by filling out a hallowed pumpkin shell with milk, honey, and spices, and baked in hot ashes...anyone have a real old cookbook, maybe family heirloom cookbook this might be in? Curious to try this and see how it turns out...

I am in desperate need of a truck driver from Michigan to Montana to carry a small rescue dog with them...any ideas how to find one of these truck drivers? I have posted on Craig's List (Rideshare) and contacted several truckers I know with no results. I need to get the dog from the Muskegon, MI area to the Billings, MT area, or somewhere close on either end. This poor old man has been through hell and back and I just want to make sure his last days are loving and kind....

The president of our neighborhood association says we are fine but an old lady is harrassing us and threatening to call the police and have us ticketed for having a fifth-wheel trailer in our driveway. Need to find if what we are doing is or is not illegal before we start battling a little old lady over this.

My mother beat me terribly as a child and I ran away from home--she tells everyone I abandoned the family. I asked a friend for the money she owed me weeks ago--she yelled at me like I was the one who did something wrong. Another friend took some of my things without asking and had a hissy when I asked for them back. My husband neglected me for years and had a cow when I left. An online "friend" had no class and brought up sex and said I was crazy when I asked why he was disrespecting me. Why is it no one takes responsibility for their own behavior anymore? Does anyone in this world care anymore?

I was on SSI for a few years way back when I blew my hip out.  24 years later (!), they inform me, they overpaid me, and now I have to pay this back.  A friend of mine tore up her back so bad, she had to have several surgeries--it took her several years to get it, so when they did pay her, she had a retro check coming.  They did pay her that, and after she spent it on all those bills she couldn't pay all those years, they inform her they overpaid her and want it back!  A 67 year old woman I love deeply like a mother screwed up her back 11 years ago.  They just took ALL of her SSI payments saying they overpaid her as well and were getting their money back and now she has NOTHING to live on...what the hell is going on?  This is money she worked her whole life to put in the till and when she needs it, too bad?  Has anyone else been screwed and tattooed by SSI or are these just flukes?
