  • Spore, the EADL and the EA Store ...?

    In a nutshell:

    - I ordered Spore creature creator yesterday via credit card. According to them my purchase "has been submitted" but is not confirmed. There is no DL link, no nothing. All I can see on my receipt page is that I paid for the game, the extended D/l nonsense and that the game is downloadable.

    - The EADL is worthless, all it is is a green frame with a blank white page.

    - EA support is even more worthless, after twelve hours I get an automated response telling me to do the things listed in the FAQ.

    - According to my credit card company they haven't even officially made the purchase yet.

    - On top of all of this occasionally I can't even get to my receipt page because apparently the EA store gets me confused with someone else and tells me I'm using the wrong password when I'm not.

What the heck is EA doing and how long is this going to take?

  • Itchy breasts and tingling nipples?

My wife is due March 11th of this year, just starting today she has started to experience itchy breasts and tingling nipples. It's nothing that's overly terrible but she has complained about it several times now. Basically I want to know if this is common or a reason for concern, thanks in advance.

  • My Green Terror is a problem again ...?

Again with my GT ... Anyway, my GT has stopped showing interest in his food. I have been using floating Cichlid pellets which he has gobbled up like a voracious hog since he was about an inch long (he is now about 3.5 inches).

However, I fed him some frozen blood worms the other day and since then, he refuses to eat anything else. He simply ignores the pellets.

He used to gobble up ten of them in no time, now he won't even bother with five unless they get caught in the filter flow and go scooting through the water then he's all happy to chase them and eat them.

The rest of his behavior hasn't changed, he isn't sitting on the gravel doing nothing, he isn't floating on his side, he isn't sitting in one of his caves and never coming out.

He is however showing that strange behavior I mentioned a week ago, clearing a spot on the bottom of the tank and he has that protrusion near his anus again. Is this some sort of breeding behavior or is he sick?

    Colors are fine btw.

  • Green Terror and a Snail?

I don't know much about snails but I wanted to know if a Green Terror would tolerate one and if having one would even be worth while.

My set up is 30 gallons, my Green Terror is the only occupant and he is rather young being about 3.5 inches. I have no plans to add another fish, this is purely about a snail(s).

This is incredibly broad btw, so if you have specific snails to recommend then please do so. Thanks in advance.

  • 30 gallon tank and a Green Terror?

I recently set up a 30-gallon tank at my new apt. and moved my GT in. He went from a 20-gallon to a 30-gallon and is the lone occupant, as he was in the 20-gallon. He has completely changed behavior (no shock, right?) He has become far more aggressive and active in the larger tank and he has started doing this crazy thing on the tree trunk that I have in the tank.

Basically, he found a recessed spot in the trunk and he spins himself around and around that spot, sometimes rubbing himself on it. Not his sides as seen in ich, his abdomen which brings me to the next thing ...

In front of his anus there is something ... protruding. I have never seen it before on him, it is whitish and honestly looks like an egg. I'm not saying that's what it is, just saying that's what it looks like.

My GT is about 3.5 inches and has some really nice coloring.

  • White mold on my filter?

Hey, I have a 20 gallon tank with a very small Green Terror in it. I've had him for a few months now and he seems very happy and is growing at a nice rate. I don't feed him a ton of food so I'm pretty sure that there is no over feeding. I change the water and the filter carbon/cotton every other week.

Today I noticed a puffy white mold like substance growing on my filter. I have never seen this before and have no clue what it is. The mold is not in the water, it is surrounding the inner portions of the filter above the water line and has grown a touch out of the small vent like things on the filter cap.

I am using a Whisper power 30 and have had no problems up until this white puffy stuff. I use water conditioners when I change the water and keep the ph level at or around 6.8-7.0

My fish seems happy and healthy but I am concerned about the mold, my nephew has pretty bad allergies. I had an issue with Ich a few weeks back but that is ok now.

    Any help would be appreciated
