Itchy breasts and tingling nipples?
My wife is due March 11th of this year, just starting today she has started to experience itchy breasts and tingling nipples. It's nothing that's overly terrible but she has complained about it several times now. Basically I want to know if this is common or a reason for concern, thanks in advance.

Aww! Congratulations to you both!
Unfortunately, itchy breasts and tingly nipples are a normal part of pregnancy. Is this her first pregnancy? I noticed it with my first but not so much with my second.
The itching is simply a response to the skin stretching. She might want to get some stretch mark creams or oils as this can sometimes help avoid the appearance of unsightly stretch marks. The nipple tingling is a just another response to hormones prepping the breasts to become fully functional.

Can be. But most early signs are also missed period and cramping. Do you have any other symptoms? GOOD LUCK!! Baby dust Mom of a 1 year old son and TTC

Yes this is very common. Have her use vitamin E oil it helps stop the itching.

it is common but if concerned tell her to mention it to the Dr when she goes for another visit.

stretch mark lotion and baby powder, or she is going to have some not so fun marks left over.
