Total mental block...nothing haloweeny I had Chilli Con Carne last night.....

despite me leaving him 4 months ago, it was my birthday 2 weeks ago and he bought me an expensive gift, lovely card and cake!. its his birthday in 2 weeks he'll be 25 and i still care about him immensely. I want to get him something, he got me an MP4 player! so nothing romantic. i don't have tons of cash. and he already has an IPhone so i cant get him anything similar...

I split with my ex 3 months ago partly over a girl he was texting from work and acting suspicious.

He assured me they were just Friends but wouldn't let me meet her.

since then we've still seeing each other and slept together, told each other we still loved each other etc.

he led me to believe we could maybe work it out. i found out yesterday "this Friend" has now met his family and they have been dating....all the time he has been sleeping with me.

I think I should tell her, However we all work at the same place and he could cause me a lot of problems. he said i would "be in a world of trouble" if i talk to her.

I'm hoping to get back with my ex, I dumped him 3 months ago. we've never stopped being in touch and i'm hoping soon we'll try again. It will be the first time i've ever even considered going backwards and trying again...whaddya think???

and I want us to try again....I moved out over 2 months ago now. he's till living in our old home. i've been putting off finding my own place as I wanted and thought i'd go back. so been staying with family but this is not convenient for me or family.

I still love him badly and think he still loves me. he texts and calls everyday and we see each other now and again. Even though I broke it off, i've not dealt with it well and am very depressed.

I said to him last time, what would you say if i said "i wanted to come back" - he said "its a long way off" I Think he'll be moving out in the next couple of month and I need to find a new place quick.

I Want us to try again soon if we are going to, as I think leaving it a long time would make it harder...

I just don't know what to do or say to him...help? all advice welcome

Since I met my boyfreind, he has always kept his phone private. he keeps it in his pocket on silent and has even held it to my face to see App's rather than let me touch it. On the rare occasion its left on table, if he has to go to another room he takes it with him, even to the bathroom.

We've argued about this 3 or 4 times in 18 months of going out and i've tried to tell him it makes me paranoid and suspicious. once my battey died and I needed to make a call. rather than let me use his phone he gave me his work phone!!?? I'm not natrually Suspicious but his behaviour has made me worried and insecure.

I've over time left it, given up really - as when I try to challenge or ask him about it. Nothing changes and he shouts and refuses to give me any good reasons.

Few weeks ago, I found out he was texting a girl from work, he'd never told me about her and its been going on for a year. then they ended up at the same house one night after a works do.

I've told him now. I cant face or accept this "private phone" thing anymore. I want him to leave it off silent, and out where I can see it. and I want to read her texts - as he says he's going to keep texting her. he said his phone is private from me. he will read me her texts but I cant read them for myself.

How would you feel or what would you do if this was your partner???

Your Boyfreind was texting a girl from work...?!

Bit of history. bout 3 weeks ago we started arguing and not spending time together (we live together) and work at same company!!

The arguing was really bad so I was staying out at family and so was he. we were hardly talking.

then I asked him about a works night out, he said he wasnt going and didnt think I should either.

The day before he sent me a text saying he was going and staying out at a freinds. I asked him why and if there would be another girl there, he said no. on the night he wouldnt be nice to me and I got a couple of one word texts at 9pm, then nothing till 10am the next day.

To cut a long story short. yesterday 2 girls came in my office one of them I knew was at the house he stayed at and another girl, who didnt look at me or talk to me.

Then I got a couple of weird text from boyfreind asking who came in. after a couple of texts I dicovered the other girl was also there that night, and 4 of them had stayed at casino till 3 am. then all stayed at this house, So thats my BF and mystery girl and the couple who own house.

now he tells me he's been texting this girl for months, not told me, hides his phone and says shes a brilliant freind.

I don't thinks he's cheated but the suspicion because of all the lies is there. and i'm angry, hurt deeply, HUMILATED beyond belief and keep picturing them in the house drunk. wondering whats happened.

any thoughts??

Briefly, I've been in (very male orientated) company 4 years now, for about 3 I've been working towards and doing a better role. One that I can do and am good at (everyone says so). I got temp promoted into this job and had never been happier. however because I am a woman it was made harder. then after 8 months they advertised my job and gave it to someone else. I had to help train him and guide him (which humiliated and demotivated me) then few weeks ago he left!!!. they are going to re-advertise the job again! and I think they'll give it to someone else and expect me to train them.

Everyone expects me to go for it. But I can't face not getting it again, I feel so low and washed out trying. THEN last night I had a powerful dream with people surrounding me and TELLING me it was my time and this time I would def get it.

Should I give it one more go and listen to my dream? or give up.

You got a job for 8 months, and you were really good at it then it was advertised and someone else got it, despite you getting brilliant feedback and excelling.

Then the person who gets the job doesn't do it any where near as good as you, and is always asking you for help to do the job.

Plus the new person gets given loads of help from managers and is offered courses that you asked for and we denied.

Would you feel bitter and angry???

And if so how did you deal with it?

I'm a Virgo too, so I can kinda see the personality traits that cause this, but I wondered have you experienced this from your partner. basically he is sooooo critical and self righteous about EVERYTHING I do. I'm 33, and he is 23, yet he tries to tell me about life and the right way to live. he'll nit pick, chastise, get angry over the littlest things if he feels I haven't done them to his standards, AND oh boy if I dare to point out he also cant do whatever it is, or has done it wrong, he'll explode. but cant see how much its getting me DOWN, its EVERY SINGLE DAY, something, I haven't put the flannel back the right way, I haven put the bin bag in deep enough, I Don't Pronounce my words correctly!
