Why do Sunnis and Shiites fight so much? Why aren't they like Baptists and Methodists and generally be nice to each other?

I found a turtle in my backyard and decided to keep him as my pet. He grew a lot, and his fur got a lot darker. He's acting really weird and there's like white foam coming out of his mouth. He keeps peeing on everything and chewing on his tail. And he bit me. I think he may be pregnant, is this normal behavior?

I found a turtle and he seems uptight. I want him to feel relaxed, what type of music should he like? I want him to feel comfortable with me, and maybe come out of his shell.

The recent bombing in Boston had me thinking, is there really a need to focus so much on NK if we have such big problems back home?

Here is the story. I was just sitting down, playing some MW2. My mom asked me to help her get some groceries, no biggy. Just let me turn off my game, I told her. I pressed the power button, that was it. I walked out, and she says" GET STARTED!" I thought"what the hell is your problem?" She hadn't even made the slightest motion to take 1 bag herself.

Okay, mabye she is just in a bad mood, yeah that's it, I thought to myself. After carrying about ten bags in at once, she yelled" You aren't DONE YET? WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" I was surprised. I've NEVER seen my mom like this. Most people would go ballistic and start swearing her out, but, no, I respect my elders, i'm not going to yell at my mom.

I made sure not to make the mistake of leaving more bags this time. I put as many bags as I could on my body, but one more remained. ****, I knew what was going to happen. "YOU LEFT ONE! AND I'M NOT WAITING ALL DAY!!!!" Still, I kept my cool.

After getting the bags put in, and we were in the house, her voice lowered but she still was talking **** to me. "Put the groceries away! And don't be as slow as you were before!". I was getting a little angry. "Um, Mom, could you help a little?" "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?(back to yelling it seems)"I BROUGHT IN ALMOST ALL OF THEM! YOU ONLY TOOK 4!" I was angry now." What do you mean? I took all of them in while you stood there and bossed me around!"

Oh lord, she exploded." YOU LITTLE BASTARD! YOU NEVER BACK TALK TO ME! I ******* PROVIDE YOU WITH A HOUSE AND FOOD UNTIL YOU GET YOUR *** OUT(I haven't even graduated high school yet, how can I live on my own?) BUT YOU JUST INSIST WITH STAYING HERE EATING ALL OF MY FOOD! WHO GAVE YOU EVERYTHING YOU EVER HAD? ME! NOW, SHUT YOUR ******* MOUTH!"

I was bursting with rage. She went too far. I punched her in the face, and I think it broke her nose. I was now horrified of what I had done. When my dad walked through the door and saw what I did, he got scared and said "You're moving with your bisexual cousin in Belair."

I want little pebbles. I don't know if they're the same gender, but I kinda bang them together and try to get them pregnant. How do I know if one of the rocks is neutered? How many pebblits will they have? I WANT TO BE A MASTER ROCK BREEDER

I have an insane phobia of deep, open water. Especially the open ocean. It doesn't really make sense since I've been competitively swimming since I was 5, and I spend a lot of time in the river where I live. But I can't bring myself to swim in deep water. It's not a fear of what's in it, I love fish. Why would I have this fear if I'm around water so often? Is there anyway to get over it? I would really like to go scuba diving this summer! :)

I have my license and am thinking about buying my own car. Right now I drive my parents 2012 VW Jetta. It's a turbo diesel intake, 140 HP, 2.5 liter, and about 45 mpg. It has a fender audio system and it's white with a black interior. Should I just drive this? Or should I buy my own car?

What do you consider to be the American 'South'?

I'm Roman Catholic but haven't been able to attend confession or church due to my half of my family not wanting to go. I will be able to drive soon, and plan to attend confession church right away. Is it a sin that I haven't been attending, even though it was nearly impossible for me to?

I've been a Roman Catholic for my whole life (16 years). People criticize me for my faith, but I'm very passionate about it. That doesn't mean I support the actual church, I think it's very corrupt. Lately I've been facing even more accusations with the prior Popes resignation. Am I a bad person for following my religion, even though I disagree with some of it's actions?

And for those who think I'm a brainwashed Christian, you're wrong. I'm very independent and can make my own decisions. I'm asking this question for advice, not more criticism. I'm asking you to respect that and keep your opinions to yourself for now.

I'm going to go see Kendrick on April 25th at Williams and Mary with a few friends. I love his music, he has some of the best raps of all time in my opinion. We want to get as close as we can to him, but the tickets don't assign seating. Should I wait outside the building for 7 hours to get good seats? Or is it not worth the time to be so close?

I've been realizing how corrupt the Catholic church is. It need to go back and be the way it was when Jon Paul II was pope. I still believe in God and Jesus, but I don't think I can stand the Catholic church any longer. I know that most Catholics are loving people who do good, and it's just the ones in charge that are doing bad things. Ex-pope Benedict changed the rules so that all molestation cases would have to go to him first, which is completely wrong.

Should I leave the church? Or see if this pope puts the church on the right track?

Please don't tell me how I'm dumb about believing in God or how Christians are evil. That's your opinion and I respect that, I don't discredit Atheists in anyway. All I want is an honest answer that would help.

Do you think that religion is associated with a certain personality? What about political views? What's your opinion on those that try to oppose Christians or Atheists?

I was born and raised Roman Catholic, and still believe in some of their views. I also disagree with some actions that the church taken recently, and believe that there is some corruption going on with the CHURCH, not the religion. My dad was born and raised Catholic also, and I would say is somewhat of an extremist. Our current church is specifically Roman Catholic, but I hate it. We do nothing good for the community and none of the priests relate to the younger crowd. I've been wanting to attend a new church, which is non-denominational. They do so much, and I've attended a mass or two before. All my friends go there, but my dad refuses to let me go because 'I can't practice Catholicism in a non-denominational church'. Should I listen to my dad, and is he right? Or keep trying to go to this new church?

I don't understand why Christians and Atheists are always at each others throats trying to disprove each other. It seems that some Atheists are constantly harassing my religion, trying to tell me I'm and idiot for believing a book. Why don't they see that it's not just a book, and that it show good morals and values? Why is it so important to try and demolish something that make so many people happy? Even if it's not true, religion encourages love, compassion, forgiveness, and being a good person. Why try and take that away? Why not look at other options, such as science and religion being interconnected? And why do other Christians have to be so mean in response to accusations? Aren't we suppose to be accepting and forgiving? I understand some people will always be like this, but is there a specific reason for it?

It's been a while since we broke up, probably around 5 months or so. While we were dating she showed interest in a older guy, so I broke it off. She started dating him, but just recently they broke up. She also has a twin sister, who's one of my best friends. Her sister would tell me stories of how she wished she went to formal with me and how I was nicer than her most recent boyfriend. We have a class together and also run together. I'm still friends with her and would like to get back together Is that a good idea? How should I start?
