  • no visible bruise but bruise-like pain?

I recently slipped on ice and fell on my hip and forearm. My arm is fine, but over a day later I don't have any discoloration from bruising on my hip, but I feel pain in what feels like a mid muscle layer in my hip when I put pressure on it or when I move the muscle certain ways. It has gotten a bit better since this morning, but is still a fairly strong sharp pain at times (not too bad to keep that position, but very unpleasant) The worst is when I try to sit cross-legged or lay on that side with my leg slightly bent. When I try to sit cross legged it feels like there is swelling, but it feels like it is deeper than in the skin layer and I can't find any visible swelling. I am a 19 year old female, with fairly average weight for my height. I do not bruise easily at all, except for when a random bruise I have no explanation for sometimes shows up. I was wondering if I just bruised something deeper and missed the blood vessels right under the skin, or if this might be another issue.

  • kettle corn help pre popped corn?

I have been working on figuring out a kettle corn recipe to work with popcorn that is already popped, and for a little bit I thought that just replacing the oil with butter worked, but than I started having problems with the sugar not dissolving right, which made it gritty and wierd, (and even before that it was still more of a light caramel texture than the normal very thin coating) and so I went back to looking up recipes. I tried one with water in it, and that worked for dissolving it, but was pretty bland. Keeping that in mind I went back to the original butter sugar and salt recipe, but dissolved the sugar first in a bit of hot water, it isn't gritty, but I have just melted almost an entire bowl of popcorn (I made a double batch of the sauce). That is the last straw. I was wondering if anyone had had a similar problem and found a solution or had any suggestions to try. I was thinking of maybe trying with just a tiny amount of water, but then it probably wouldn't all dissolve, and if I add just a small amount after everything's in the pan then i am not sure how much good it would do other than to water it down.

  • Translation Troilus and Cressida?

I need to know how to translate parts of troilus and cressida (by shakespeare) to modern english, and cannot find any translators which more than just a single word. I need all of Act 4 translated, and would like to find a translation tool that will do large chunks or phrases.

  • Possible causes for swollen leg?

Today before I left school my leg felt all tight, and when I got home it seemed worse. When I asked my mom if one leg looked bigger than the other she said yes, my left, which was the one that felt swollen. It didn't seem to be above the knee, just starting a bit below the knee, and down almost to my ankle. I checked for bug bites or anything, and there was none. I do not think I had injured it at all, and it seems to have went away after a while. I would like to know some possible reasons for this.

Thank you in advance for everyone who helps.
