I am writing a story where there is a person called 'the Bioshock'. I used the name because he is a living battery (thus the prefix bio)-- a person with electrical powers (thus the suffix shock). But, my friend told me that there is a video game called 'Bioshock Infinite'. Can I use the term Bioshock in my novel? Is it copyrighted?

I'm 16 years old and I am very, very sick. I have been struggling with Babesiosis, Fungal Sinusitis, Asthma, Cancer, Lyme Disease, Depression, and severe Social Anxiety for my entire life. I have to repeat Junior year because I have missed to much school, I am a burden onto my family, and I am in constant pain (physical pain.) I have no friends, althought I want friends, but it is impossible for me to be in any social situation without having my heart begin to race. My doctor says that my Babesiosis won't go away for another three to six months, and even then the Lyme disease , Sinusitis and cancer will be a whole new endeavor. I have no friends to keep me going, I can no longer do the physical activities I once enjoyed, and the side effects of my medicine give me horrible night terrors- I try every night to make it to sunrise so I can sleep, but I always drift off and wake up crying. I am drastically losing all my muscle mass and I have hallucinations every morning. I want to commit suicide because my doctor says "you have a looong road ahead of you". I don't want to do the chemotherapy- I would then be trapped in a decaying body and become a prisoner to myself. If I don't act now, I could become a concious bag of bones, unable to wake up from this nightmare. I'm scared and I want to end the pain :(

Im a minor, age 16. I need a gun. My father only has unreliable antique rifles. I can't legally buy guns. Drugs are unreliable. I can't tie a knot.

There is a police officer at my high school, but I doubt I could take his without him noticing.

My Grandpa has plenty of guns, but he lives in another state.

I am 99% sure that I am gay. I have never really been into girls, I am attracted to cute guys, and so forth and so on. Yet, I have two problems. First, I act nothing like other homosexuals. I am not into fashion and I certainly don't have the "gay accent" as my friends call it. Second, my parents would disown me if they knew I was gay. I am not exaggerating. Countless hours of them getting upset over the gay marriage issue every other week are enough to make me keep my mouth shut. And as an athlete, and a co-captain at that, I would lose the respect of my team and friends for sure. (The endless gay jokes -not directed at me- tell me this). Should I just keep my mouth shut and finish high school?

So there is a movie coming out in the U.S called "God's not Dead". Now, English is not my first language, but I thought that you only used 's in a possesive sense. Is the title using incorrect grammar?

Do you ever see the irony of how the western world perceives what we call the physical world and the spiritual world? Those of an Abrahamic faith, for example, state that God and the Spiritual World is what truly matters. Then, they talk about the ultimate spiritual realm where God and his angels reside; heaven. Finally, they go to their Bible or Torah or Qua ran, and describe it in the MOST PHYSICAL WAT POSSIBLE. With streets paved with Gold, multi-winged angels with a trillion eyes, Jesus with a set of armor surrounded by light, etc. (Taken from revelations). Yet, there is the same thing with the "physical world", where we try to find the deepest, most inner-spiritualistic meaning of something as simple as a tree, and then our minds wander about the Spiritual/Mystical ways of how our world might have come into existence. Do you see the irony?

Im a sophomore at my high school. I practice every other day before school at 5:30 a.m, and have been practicing every day after school at an old elementary school. My parents say I would never make it in a million years and that I should just focus on school, but I have beaten some of the best players playing for my high school varsity team, but everyone says that my dream is unrealistic. Im really poor and can't afford those soccer camps, but I have a good reputation and have beaten all the A level players who go to these camps. Am I wasting my time? Can I not make it because I can't get all of the expensive coaches and programs? All i have is me, my ball and an old field with some cones...

Ignore the law of Mosses because they "follow Jesus' law now"? I ask this because I just realized that God found stoning non-virgins and gays and non-believers acceptable IN ONE POINT IN TIME. Did he change his mind? Why would he need to if he was all-knowing?

I read the bible from back to front over the course of 4 months, and i never found anything bad about Lucifer. God killed 2.4 million people and encouraged his followers to stone non-virgins on their wedding night, kill homosexuals, and execute a friend changing religions (check Deuteronomy). Lucifer gave us a conscious, offered Jesus food while he was starving in the desert, and has a kill count of 0.

He encouraged us to eat the fruit so we would become intelligent and "open our eyes" as the Bible says. He also kills only 10 people, and that was with God's permission (story of Job). God has killed at least 2.5 million according to the Old Testament Texts. Satan is also the one who wants us to avoid God, and God proved himself to be "an angry and jealous LORD" when God goes rampant and destroys other nations with his selected army.

Satan seems like the good one to me.
