  • Possibility of me being pregnant? PLEASE?

I'm guessing the chances here are low, and I'm going to buy a test tomorrow to be sure but...

I had protected sex one day in March, then a week later had sex with someone else (yes I know... not the best idea) but I can't remember if we used a condom the whole time or even at all.

3 weeks after this I got my period, but it was lighter and didn't last as long as normal (only 2 days rather than 4-5), and I'm now 4 days late for this month, tired, really moody, feeling a sick a lot and I'm panicking.

My menstrual cycle app on my phone reckons that I was more fertile on the 2nd night I had sex as I was ovulating a few days later.

What are the chances? Could it just be stress messing up my periods?

  • Would giving my psychiatrist a leaving card be inappropriate?

Basically I've been seeing a psychiatrist at Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) since January until adult services have a space for me (I've just turned 18)... and at our last session he told me he's leaving next Friday...

Should I give him a leaving card? I'm only really questioning it because I've only been seeing him weekly since January which isn't that long...

I may or may not make it myself if I can think of a good idea

  • Named Driver - what does this entail?

I'm a 17 y/o female looking into buying my first car, and so I'm also looking at insurance.

I was getting quotes of around £3k-£5k for fully comp. I then found out about putting a named driver onto my policy, and then I got quotes from £1.8k-£2.4k which is much better.

However, my mum is having doubts about being my named driver and so she has a few questions:

What are the risks for her? Like if I crash, will it affect her policy (the one I'm not on)? Does she have to do anything?

  • I think I might have a mental disorder?

I think I might have some kind of mental disorder. I'm not sure what, or if I'm just making things up in my head or what. I'm 16, female (if that makes a difference). I also cut myself because I just feel so horrible and disgusting all the time and I can't cope even with the smallest of stresses. I have thought about suicide on thousands of occasion, and often find myself fantasizing about throwing myself in front of oncoming vehicles. I'm really anti-social because I hate having to interact with people I don't know/like (which is most people) because I feel they don't like me, or want to talk to me and I feel unbearably awkward. I am extremely irritable all the time and have always had a problem falling asleep and waking up. Lately I've been almost crying at tiny things - including getting a question wrong in class and I just feel rubbish all the time. Maybe I'm just being a hormonal teenager, but I need to know for sure if I am, or whether there is actually something wrong with me.

  • I'm having the whole "I want a baby" feeling right now, distract me please?

So yeah, I'm having the feelings of wanting a child again, and it's getting really strong again. I'm only 16 and getting pregnant now would be a really bad idea considering that I haven't finished my GCSE's yet and I want to to A levels too. But I just can't wait till I can have a family of my own. Could you give me ideas on how to like get rid of this feeling again (it comes up every so often for the past 4 years)?

  • Teens: Is this a good idea... ?

Basically, I'm 16 (so am legal to have sex in the UK where I live) and this boy has been coming onto me over Facebook for months now, and says that if I ever want anything from him (in a sexual way) then he'd give it to me.

We have met a couple of times before.

I am a virgin but really want to have sex.

So we'd basically be sex-buddies, and it seems like it would be on my terms.

Do any of you teens have sex-buddies? Your experiences?

  • Is going ice skating a good idea when I have stitches in my head?

So basically I've been invited to go ice skating on Saturday, but I got stitches in my head on Tuesday (because I got some mole thing removed from my head - its under my hair kinda at the top left of the back my head).

But back to my question - is going ice skating a good idea considering I have stitches in my head?

  • PARENTS OF TEENS: Which music festival would you rather your teen go to?

    ... V festival or Reading?

    Why?

If you don't live in the UK, then you might not know what I'm on about..

    Background Info:

    16 year old teen

    Would be going with friends

The girl is a "good girl" - does well in school etc, doesn't do drugs, is still a virgin, but does drink alcohol on weekends if she's with friends.

Alot of my friends (the same age - 16) will be going to Reading, so I guess the actual festival allows 16 year olds there alone.

At V festival, you can go without parental supervision from 16 years old
