Chopsticks as a gift?
I frequent an all you can eat chinese restaurant and usually ask for the same waitress as she is the most hard working and friendly. I always tip well and keep chinese traditions about eating in mind. I am in my mid 20s and she appears to be anywhere from mid 20s to mid 30s. Recently I went in as usual and requested her as the waitress and she brought me a pair of metal chopsticks with a flower design in a red cloth sheath as a gift! She said how she had recently gone to china and bought it for me while she was there. I graciously accepted. My question is, is this customary, a show of appreciation for a valued customer, or a gift with more meaning? Should I bring her a gift in return the next time I visit the restaurant? If so, what type of gift would be appropriate?

I'm a soldier in kuwait. I got windows 7 on a new laptop. It says "Windows was unable to connect to Wataniya" which is what my old laptop is on at this very moment. I click troubleshoot problems but it says "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem" It simply will not connect to the wifi hotspot. I hear that I can take my computer to the locals and they will do 'something' to it to make it work. If anyone knows what I could do to fix it myself I would be really thankful. I don't trust one of these guys to do something fishy with my brand new alienware laptop.

I am 192 and i do not think im that overweight. I don't have a huge gut or anything and I pass the army physical fitness test for my age group. The thing is, the internet suggests that someone of my age and height should be around 175 and that anything over could lead to health problems. I would like to know the honest opinion of a physical fitness trainer or a doctor.
1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade agoSharper Image mp3 video player, AVI converter...?
I have this: http://www.sharperimage.com/Electronics/The+Sharpe...
It plays video but only in 160x128 AVI format. Problem is most AVI converters only change it to 160x120 which will not play. It comes with a disk to install an avi conveter that will change it to 160x128 but my netbook does not have a disk drive. Does anyone know of a place i can download a converter that outputs to 160x128?
