What are some good character descriptions.

I've gotten haircuts before yet it always grows into a thick brick (Disgusting) so ya know help would be appreciated. I used pantene before but recently (For a few months) I've been using a Clairoe Herbal Essences shampoo along with a Cibu smooth conditioner. Would these work if I got a proper haircut for an emo-style haircut?

Dual wielding always seems to be portrayed as using two weapons which are both the same yet when I look up the exact definition online it simply states "Using two weapons". Would carrying a sword and shield count as dual wielding or is there some more specific definition.

I've been getting much more sleep than I did the previous few years before (8-9 hours week days then I sleep at 12-1 AM in the morning) I used a collagen filter cream each night for the past 6 months and used ice cubs for 5-10 minutes each day. I once tried using cucumbers for a few weeks and that didn't so jack. I honestly don't know what to do at this point. Can rings be attributed to an unhealthy lifestyle? I prefer to stay indoors on my laptop then playing any sports. I am skinny yet not to the point where I'm anorexic. Honestly this post is so ridiculously hopeless it should be considered a troll post.

I kept reading online that the Pilum made a shield useless to use if hit but I'm still curious as to how? The average weight was 4 to 5 pounds (Hopefully this is accurate.) so if your shield was hit once I doubt it would in balance it too much. Could the shield be yanked out of the opponent's hand by the pilum? I think the grip would keep the opponent's hand on it. Need some thoughts thank you :)

I tend to see alot of depictions of anyone who wasn't born of great great status to have a very hard life and constantly covered in soot and grime from working. Roman Citizens and Japanese farmers seemed to have a better life. I am aware that if you were a slave then it'd be a shitty life either way but still seems better than the Middle Ages.

Not every soldier could afford a well-made shield but if the majority of soldiers could form a shield up from what would be the point of having ranged soldiers such as bow men.

I've seen images of Napoleon's cavalry using sabres as a charging weapon. Wouldn't a weapon such as a lance or polearm be more efficient?
