  • Math Question: Finding MPH?

I'm having serious problems figuring out how to do this math problem. Can someone please explain how to do it?

A Delta 727 traveled 2520 miles with the wind in 4.5 hours and 2160 miles against the wind in the same amount of time. Find the speed of the plane in still air and the speed of the wind.

Answer: Plane: 520 mph; wind: 40mph

I'm just struggling what equation to use, or how to solve.

    TIA

  • HIPAA laws question?

I used to work at a care center. I no longer work there but was planning on going back to visit today or tomorrow. I haven't worked there in months. I was wondering if it violates HIPAA laws to take pictures with my past residents. I wouldn't post them or release any information about them, I would just keep them for myself.

Does that violate HIPPA laws? I definitely don't want to do it if it does...

  • Pain on right side of abdomen...?

In August I got this horrible sharp pain on the right side of my abdomen close to my belly button that radiates to the right and downward. It went away after a few days and at the same time I thought I had a UTI and thought maybe it was because of that. (I was also worried about my liver because I had been drinking when the pain started...)

After I kept getting a dull sharp pain (if that makes any sense). It sort of felt like a really dull side ache just a couple inches lower than where you get side aches.

Monday I was doing Yoga and it flared up again like it had in Aug... Only it was worse. I couldn't move, laugh...It hurt to breathe too. I was worried about appendicitis and almost went to the ER but the pain started lessening. Now it's back to that dull side ache.

-I don't think that the yoga had anything to do with triggering it because I frequently workout -- strength training and yoga...

  • Sharp pain under right ribs?!?

I know I probably need to go see a doc but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas or any advice...(Currently not insured..)

It started a little over a week ago (Last Sat. Aug. 3) And it was more of a dull, constant side ache. In the past few days it's gotten worse. It's a very sharp pain if I breathe too deeply (yawning, burping, hiccuping also make it a lot worse) Also hurts if I twist my torso...

The pain is about two inches under my right rib cage.

I do have endometriosis (pain is too high up?)

I have started a new workout plan if that could be contributing?

A few days ago I thought I may have had a UTI, could contribute to that? I took a few cranberry pills last night and this morning to see if that could help anything...

Haven't taken any meds in case it could be my liver... Did drink a little the other night... and there was pain, but not sure if the drinking made it worse at all?

I'm 17 years old. Female. Don't smoke, rarely drink, don't do drugs...

Any ideas/advice would be great! Thank you!

  • Dermatology...Sensitive Skin Problem W/ Shaving?

I have really, really sensitive skin. Hypoallergenic everything!

One of my biggest problems is shaving. And I heard to try baby oil, and that's helped a lil' with my legs...but my armpits...

Whenever I shave I get horrible rashy-razor burn type bumps in my armpits that hurt so bad. And throughout the day, they get horribly itchy, but the pain is still there. I use special hypoallergenic, natural $15 deodorant (best I've tried!). I've tried lotions, different razors, different shaving creams, different deodorants and nothing is helping! Anyone have any ideas? Please share!

  • Would a-³(a²) be a³/a² or the opposite?

    Would a-³(a²) = a³/a² or a²/a³

Because you would put the -a³ over 1, so wouldn't that make the answer a³/a² ?

I just want to make sure that I'm doing my math homework right...

    Thanks!

  • What Religion Are You? Please Answer If You Haven't Already...?

I wanted to do a little bit of a...survey, I guess.

Just wanted to know what religion everyone is.

You don't have to explain why, just tell me the religion that you believe.

Or, if you are not religious, just comment and say, 'not religious' [Or if you are more specifically Atheist or Agnostic, please comment with that as well.]

    Thank you!
