I have 2 female guinea pigs in a wonderful c+c cage. 2 stories, and they love it. And i have room for at least 2 more guinea pigs.

So here i am roaming kijiji, and i find 2 female guinea pigs in need of a home. They are kept in a very small cage sadly, and i want to get em in with my 2 girls!! I have a HUGE room, and a HUGE cage. The thing is i need to know how to convince my mom.

She already knows i use my money ONLY to provide for them fully. And if she ever gets something for them (ex. hay) because i needed it, i pay her back ALWAYS. And she knows how well i take care of them. I need some advice on how to even bring up the situation to her, and how to ask for her approval.

She is already concerned with the lifespan of them, shes worried she will end up taking care of them, but i wouldn't let that happen, and i am the one who provides for them. So im afraid bringing in 2 more guinea pigs is pushing it. I mean the 2 i want to rescue are already 3 years old each roughly. Would that help in convincing her?

Basically, i am very researched, and i want to save these pigs. But i need some advice, on how to win my mom over. I mean, i would have to expand my c+c cage by 2 extra grids, but i have all the grids and supplies to do that, as well my cage is in a big room. I clean the guinea pigs every 2 days, and i keep the smell very confined, so she never really complains about that. So, anything is appreciated!

I have a guinea pig C+C cage, and it takes up most of my room because i have a 2 grid raise under it for keeping storage. I can either keep it that way, or put the cage on the floor, with all their storage in another room. What is best? Keeping it on the floor? Or keeping it raised? THANKS!

Okay so I just got off the phone with this guy who i babysit his kids for. And I TOTALLY double-booked myself, so i was like "okay well my sister can babysit, and if you absolutely have no body i will still come" and so he's like call me back in 5, and hung up. So i did, and he's like yeah we found someone else. I said, are you sure because i could still come. And yeah, he sounded really pissed!! And now im worried they would never ask for me again!!! ... The pay wasn't that good i guess...... But still any suggestions on what i should do??? PLEASE

Hey everyone... So i have two guinea pigs in a prevue animal home cage on a stand. It is fairly big and all so yeah. I have C+C cage cube's but it is their playpen.. I want to ask my dad if i can make their cage into a C+C cage, but i just dont know how to ask him! My guinea pigs are fairly new, almost a year i have had them now. So yeah if someone could help me out on how to bring this topic up to my dad, and how i should ask him, please tell!!

My friend is going to ask them if they still have it, because they are giving it away. I have an extra cage and supplies. I already texted my dad about it. He is in London Paris. He hasn't replied yet. And im scared if the message has got there, and what he will say. I really want to help this animal. So what should i do from here guys?

I am in Calgary, AB and i NEED a guinea pig babysitter for June 17th/09.

I have been researching places, but it all seems for cats and dogs. HELP?

Right now in my guinea pigs cage i put their hay in a corner. Should i get a bin or a mat type thing so it doesn't get pushed around with their bedding?

It kinda seems like she is. My friend noticed this first at a sleepover.

Maya(guinea pig) is very big. Not overfed, but grows fast. Just thought i should include that.

IS she putting it in her mouth and spitting it out? Is she actually eating it?

My bedding is Carefresh mixed with Aspen.

I have two cockatiels, Ella and Arthur. I love animals dearly and would never do anything to hurt them! I have 2 guinea pigs 4 dogs, 8 fish, 1 hamster 2 birds. My birds are at my moms house and my other animals are at my dads.

Now for the problem. My mother and step dad and even little sister abuse my birds badly. Everything like:

- Throwing them into the cage

- Hitting them with a duster

- Whacking them when they try to fly (my mother wont let me cut their wings)

- Aren't allowed out of the age anymore (my mother made that rule)

- Are yelled a constantly.

And of coarse all these problems of abuse lead to the poor birds being un-tame, biting, and scared. I am totally hurt and feeling bad for them. I love my birds! And i never included in any of these abusing action, sometimes i feel i would upset people if i try to tell them to stop, which i do.

What do i do with them? Im afraid there will be a blow up on both sides of the family if i want to take the birds out of the house and into my other ones. This is so hard! What do i do?

I am buying two guinea pigs on tuesday or wednesday, possibly this monday. They are both males. I am getting this HUMONGOUS cage for the two. Frizz (teddy breed) and Benny (abyssinian breed) are their names.

Now my question, will the two males be most likely to fight a lot when i bring them home? Or will they be okay? I need an awesome answer here.

I know that i should be getting my guinea pigs from a adoption center. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING THEIR FOR 7 MONTHS STRAIGHT, and i have come to my last resort the pet store. I am going to get these two little piggies, so adorable, from the pet store, they are both friendly now. Both males, and i already named them Frizz (teddy breed) and Benny (abyssinian breed). My question is, will getting a pet store animal change how loving that animal will be? Like, will it have any affect in a bad way on the personality as time passes? (((I have been researching guinea pigs for 7 moths now, and i am destined to be a good owner, and i guess it is an okay thing for me to be buying from this store, because i found out all of their animals are adopted by the store first off to sell.)))

It came in a bag. I bought the oxbow pellets and hay. Will it be okay just in that? Is there anything else i need to do for it, so it doesn't give my piggies mites/lice or anything?? Thanks!

I have 2 guinea pigs. I am going on a small one week vacation, and a weekend vacation for the summer. I have no neighbors to look after them, none are educated with guinea pigs. I don't know what to do. I heard i could buy a pet store single guinea pig cage, and pack em' along with me on my trips, but what are my other options?? Thanks!

I need to send my sims 2 movies to my Mac side of my computer. I need to edit them with mac software, because i don't have music or editing software on my windows computer. I sent the video file and opened it, and all it played was the sound and showed nothing. Please help!
