FEEL FREE TO IM ME BUT MESSAGE ME FIRST PLEASE. My life is essentially a constant string of unimportant events so mundane and tedious they inspire even the best of people to attempt to bite their own ear if only to relieve their own boredom punctuated only by outburst of comic genius supplied by my friends and chemical stimulants dealt by those same people.
Have you ever donated blood?
If not, why not and would you consider it? Just curious because I did for the first time today and I was amazed that it wasn't that bad.
19 AnswersPolls & Surveys8 years agoDo people celebrate Guy Fawks night in America?
I'm guessing not but damant that it's a big deal. Don't see why it would be and it says quite a lot about the UK that we have a big firework display in honour of an attempt to blow up parliment on 5th November. Just wondering.

3 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoDo you think having books specifically marketed towards 'teen' or 'young adults' creates ages barriers?
in mainstream literature and popular fiction? I think it's good that young people now have better representation in popular fiction but 'teen' books were never for me. To what extend do you think it discourages children from reading more challenging books? But with that said, encouraging reading generally can only be a good thing can't it? In my opinion, teenagers should be exposed to as many different types of texts as possible without being told what is intended or appropriate for them. But then maybe I have a bit of biased point of view as my parents would actively encourage me to read things not strictly child-friendly at quite a young age - Trainspotting being a particular favourite of mine despite its dark junkie humour. Anyway, would love your responses.
4 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years agoDo any of you on here identify yourself as Socialists?
Just wondering because I'm from the UK and it's not like everyone is left-leaning but quite few of my friends and family identify themselves as socialist rather than merely 'left-of-centre' or 'liberal'. To what extend is it a dirty word where you are?
9 AnswersPolitics9 years agoIs Whey protein safe/effective for a 17 year old girl wishing to enhance workout?
I go to the gym every day of the week and exercise at home. I am making much progress but would like to gain strength. I have a balanced diet though sometimes lack protein as I am a vegatarian. Is Whey protein likely to improve my performance and drive? Also is it safe for a 17 year old girl - I mean will it mess up my hormones or anything? Any advice, information or personal experiences would be greatly helpful.

3 AnswersAlternative Medicine9 years agoWould I need to take the citzenship test thingy if I wanted to have UK passport?
I've lived in the London all my life but with an Irish passport. Both my parents have Irish citizenship. I'd never given it any thought before, but if I wanted to get a UK passport, would I have to one of those citizenship test things? Just wondering.

17 AnswersBaby Names10 years agoWDYT of the name Tyger Drew-Honey?
It's the name of the boy in Outnumbered. His full name is Lindzi James Tyger Drew-Honey which I think is a little over the top but I like Tyger Drew-Honey because it flows nicely I think.

9 AnswersBaby Names10 years agoWhat does the word "spunky" mean in America?
I was posting something on here about baby names and someone said one of the girls names sounded spunky. In the UK, spunk clearly has a totally different meaning as it usually is slang for semen where I live. What does it mean in America as this has puzzled me for some time?
Thank you please.

5 AnswersBaby Names10 years agoWhich phone is best out of a Samsung Galaxy HTC Desire and a BlackBerry Curve?
I'm just starting college and I need a better phone - which out of the three is best? I don't want something to complicated but I'm weary of the stigma (at least amonst people I know) of BlackBerrys.
