I have a low profile bait cast reel. It s about 10-15 years old. I just started using it a lot. It started to just stop having full tension. After I would play with it, it would go back to normal. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I have the spam cans and wood crate from my mosin ammo. I know it s the primers that cause rust, so are my knives safe there? It seems like a nice place to store them. Yay or nay?

I don't have a boat to use, but there is land very close to a river. Is it even worth it to try to get them to come on land that close to water? I know I have a long time before the season starts. I just thought now is a good time to look for decoys.

I found these arrows for 50% off, so I thought I'd stock up. What will this affect if anything?

Martin sabre recurve bow 50 lbs

Terminator carbon arrow with extra thin shafts 60-70lbs

I would like to hunt with them in the future.

For reasons other than hunting I've narrowed my choices down to those two breeds. Mainly It would just be for company while hunting small game, but it would be nice if it could help out. Possibly sitting with me while deer hunting or maybe for coyote. I know a lot to ask of one breed, but thanks in advance

I plan on trading in two shotguns for a nicer one. Would Mc sports or gander mountain give me more for it? There is also a D i c k s. I did some google searching, but I couldn't find anything. I know I could try to sell them myself, but the last time I sold a gun it wasn't worth the effort or time. Plus, now my state has this background check law for private sales. p.s. I do almost all of my shopping at mc sports because of the better prices. Although, I saw the firearm on gander's website and it is actually $50 less than msrp. Thanks-

I'm pretty sure I've decided to get a Benelli Supernova. There are three barrel length choices: 24, 26, and 28. What should I get? I live in Illinois, so this will be my every gun. Mainly rabbit and squirrel, but I would also like to start deer, duck, and turkey hunting. pros/cons and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.-thanks

Why does tacticool only apply to self defense? I'm just curious. I've been wanting to upgrade and trade in my shotguns, and I thought maybe go tactical. I've thought about the off brand saigas. It's mainly clay shooting, but I want to start hunting more. My dream gun is really a benelli Vinci. I just shouldn't spend that much on a gun. I think I'm going to trade my two shotguns for a camo supernova. Agree, disagree, or other suggestions would be appreciated. -thanks

I am shooting corrosive ammo and it does have some rust spots. It works flawlessly until fired. Once fired, I need a hammer to open the bolt. It cycles just fine before fired. Is it the gun or the bullet?

It's for my dad's 5.56 rguns ar. I was going to get one from rguns directly, but they are like $80. My dad would be very upset if I spent that much on it. I looked at Amazon, but a lot of reviews said their certain sights were not the right size. Any ideas under 20$?

I took my brand new gun out today, and it was stuck with a round in the chamber. It was rock hard and wouldn't budge. I think the slide was completely closed or at least close to comepletely closed. I finally got it out and tried the same bullet and it happened exactly the same again. No problems after that. Shot about 60 rounds in all. That one bullet looked flawless. Should I be worried or do anything? Or is it probably just a fluke?

My dad just got an rguns ar15, and he wants to know if my red dot sight on my 22 will work. I have been very pleased with my $30 utac red dot sight. It continues to drive nails.. Although, I am not too sure it could handle the recoil of a 5.56. Is it worth even testing it out?

If I use the token to unlock the 50 cal, will I get my acog scope? Or does the gun start from scratch? It's for the wii u if it matters

Okay, so I have been waiting for a 92fs to show up for a good price. I also have a wasr 10, with two 30 round mags and one 5. Will high capacity 22s be apart of this too? Is there anything I NEED to get right now? I'm just curious as to what I should be prepared for. Any suggestions?

I have a pump shotgun that I really only use for slugs now. I had it on a rest, and I was only holding the butt stock. I looked up, and the spent case was sitting on the table next to me. Is this unsafe? Because when possible, I like to have my left hand on the rear end of the firearm. (I feel like it makes me more accurate) Do I need to make sure I hold onto the forearm stock?

I've had my fish for about a year and a half. There is an oscar and a normal pleco. The other fish died a long time ago and recently the oscar has become very mean. I was think about putting a parrot fish in with them. Will that disperse the bullying. Also when I catch him attacking the pleco I tap him with the net. I think that helps; does it?

My wasr10 had two very light primer hits causing it to misfire (while bump firing). I put those back in, and they fired just fine. I think I've fired 2-300 rounds with no problems so far. Just checking that's why it misfired right?

The 92fs is the next gun I plan to buy, so I am just curious. I'm sure some day the m9 will be retired so I was just wondering what that would do to the civilian version.

There are no places within a reasonable driving distance to buy any other type of wood than "white wood." Which I think must be pine. So how would pine work as a gun stock? This would really be my first big wood project so maybe pine would be better anyway. I just wanted to use wood that is more common for gun stocks. What do you think? Will pine be okay?

I've been doing a little playing around with wood working, and I am going to "try" to build my own stock for my mosin nagant m91-30. I am designing right now. There are two screws, and on the barrel end there are two "place holders." Can I just make the stock shorter and only use two wood screws to hold it in place? Will that not be sturdy enough? I think that should work, but I want to make sure before i carve a foot less. Thanks for any help.
