What should I do to prepare for a possible ban in the future?

No one has any idea what will get banned so most people are buying now.

If a new bill gets passed it probably will include a ban on magazines holding more than 10 rounds. They will also try to ban as many different guns by name as they can. The scary part is Feinstein's bill will require you to register your "assault rifles" and undergo another background check. They will register your gun AND you. You could join others and do a MLK/Ghandi on hem and passively resist the law. Just do not comply with the registration requirement.

The recent court rulings and changes in State Laws last year tell me that gun owners have a LOT of clout this time around. Swinestein offers up some kind of gun restriction bill every year... she doesnt have the votes to carry it... and Washington remembers how many people lost a job after the 94 ban passed.

you can read Feinstiens bullet points at the NRA website and it's been in the news. As written- she will ban just about all guns and make registration and taxes that would kill law abiding gun owners.

Fight it ... call your senator and congressman and stay aware of the facts.

That McCarthey broad from NY introduces an AWB EVERY year in the House. I think most house members just ignore her. Just because her UNARMED husband and son were killed, she thinks everyone should share the joy. It is hard to tell if a NEW AWB would gain any traction and even what a NEW AWB would cover.

Yes the .22 "assault weapons " will be banned. As well as high capacity mags. I suggest to try to buy some of these "assault weapons" if u can afford it. Most of us can't unfortunately. Also remember bullets. Maybe also buy some "assault weapons" bullets before u actually buy that firearm

Id get a good gun safe, then put all that stuff in it, and dont tell anybody you have it. Id also spend x amount of time writing to your local government about your discontent with being robbed of your rights. Good luck.

buy all that you want and can afford, stockpile magazines and ammo, prepare for 2nd American Civil War. because a ban will result them in taking your guns away without just compensation (no grandfathering this time) that you can either choose ot loose your rights or you can fight.

Buy all the ammo you can afford and bury it with the magazines.

Make sure it's in non-rusting containers with moisture absorbers.
