Apartment manager posted an extermination notice on our door late Wednesday afternoon (after 12:30 pm.) We were to have ALL cabinets, draws, closets, etc. emptied and covered for Friday. My job refuses to give PT employees insurance ( I work 36 - 37 hours a week). You must work 38 + to be full time. Less than 5% of use are full time and then it is still very costly and add a spouse or family and it is OUTRAGEOUS. This is the only way I can get to the doctor or have my wife's diabetes treated at this time. Health keeps me from other jobs and this is only a mile away. What I could make some place else would be eaten up in gas and wear and tear on my car.

My daughter has 2 grade school age boys and is 1 +/- mile from their school. District says under 2 miles they must walk. They will have to cross a busy street to get there without a light or guard. She has 3 other kids under school age, so walking with them not to good of option. District says she must pay $300 per child for bus service.

They have only one car and daddy must get a new job in day time hours now, or he would still take them and pick them up.

Is having kids this young walking not endangering them, especially in poor weather. Winters here can and do get into the negative and with wind you can get frost bite in 5 to 10 min.
