I reinstalled Windows 7 on my Dell Inspiron N5110 Laptop, however, I've lost my internet connection. When I click on the 'Enable Wireless' key on the keyboard it just gives me the Bluetooth icon. I reinstalled the Utilities and Drivers; however, this has not solved the problem.

I'd be grateful for any help and assistance, so that i can resolve this problem.

The Honeywell Programmer has separate controls for heating and hot water. When I turn the heating on, in order for the radiators to come on, is it necessary to turn the hot water on as well?

The TV is a Panasonic TX-L32ET5B and the DVD player is a Philips DVP3600. The TV and DVD player are connected by a scart lead. When I try to play a DVD-Video disc the DVD player says 'no disc'. I've tried the DVD-Video disc in another DVD player (Panasonic) and it works fine. So the problem is not the disc. Any help to find a solution to this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I have a Dell N5110 laptop which is running Windows 7 Home Premium - 64 bit. When I first bought the laptop (a year ago) it found the shared printer easily and I was able to print to it from my laptop. However, a few days ago I was not able to print from the laptop as the printer was described as being 'offline'. In response to this, rather than try and find the cause, I deleted the printer from the laptop with the intention of simply adding it back. However, I have been unable to do so. For some strange reason my laptop is now not able to find the shared printer. Also what is causing this is that I cannot see the desktop computer on the list of computers in the network - I can only see my laptop.

I would greatly appreciate any help in trying to solve these problems.

Is there a way of fitting a smoke alarm without having to drill into the wall or ceiling in order to fit the bracket which the smoke alarm will fit onto?

There is a small damp patch in the upstairs bathroom ceiling. I touched it to inspect it and have accidentally put my finger through the ceiling and made a small hole. What it the best product to use to patch the hole?

Despite however much effort I put into trying to remove the wheel nuts, they simply will not budge. Am I doing something wrong? As far as I am aware there is not a wheel locking nut.

I have a wireless network - a desktop and a laptop. The desktop connects to the internet. However, the laptop won't connect - even though it was connecting before. The laptop constantly says 'Acquiring network address'. I've phoned my wireless hardware's helpline, and they appeared to narrow it down to a problem with Windows XP. How can I solve this problem? Help would be greatly appreciated.

Since putting McAfee Internet Security Suite 2007 on my laptop, my laptop is running much slower - taking 5 minutes to get to the desktop when switching the laptop on. How can I resolve this?

Before I put new security software on my Dell laptop and recalibarated (drain the battery and then fully recharge - I think) the laptop battery, I was able to connect to the internet from my laptop, on my wireless network. All of a sudden I'm no longer able to connect to the internet; and also when I switch on my laptop, it takes at least 5 minutes to get to it's desktop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a wireless network (a desktop and a laptop). My Outlook Express email account has been set up on the desktop (the home PC).

Do I have to set up the same Outlook Express email account on my laptop in order to also use it from my laptop or is there a way of using my laptop to access it from the desktop?
