What happens if a dealer can't fix a car under warranty?
I have a 2009 nissan versa with 30,700 miles. It was making a clicking sound when turning (esp. u-turns), I first mentioned the problem a week and a half ago when it went in for an oil change they told me they had to grease the axles and mentioned the bullet pins (whatever those are) and that they couldn't hear it anymore. Drove it off the lot and heard it immediately they said to drive it over the weekend cause it was a thick grease. Took it back in the next week and they said they had to replace the lock nuts. Again they said they couldn't hear it anymore. Again as soon as I drove it off the lot I heard it, this time it's not as loud as it was but definitely noticeable when they told me they can't hear it.
What happens if the dealer can't fix it? I understand I'm probably past the period where I could claim lemon law, but I bought the extended warranty so I still have 3 years on my warranty what happens if the dealer eventually says they cannot fix my car?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years agoWill getting rid of some of my animals help with a flea problem?
We live in the south and the fleas have been horrible this year, I'm guessing because of a warm winter and because of my neighbors who have dogs and didn't treat them (who moved out a couple days ago). But in the past month we have spent over $200 on flea treatments for the animals, sprays (chemical and organic) for the house, and bombs.
We have a dog and 3 cats (one is my brother's cat since he lives with us) and after spending so much we can't really afford to have the house done professionally. But it is just so frustrating because we still have issues after spraying and vacuuming and washing. I don't want to get rid of any of my animals but I have a 3 year old that is getting eat up daily because of this and I have to put her well being before the animals. Would getting rid of 2 of the cats help out or would the flea problem be an all or nothing kind of deal?
5 AnswersOther - Pets9 years agoSpinach - is this an allergy or coincidence?
So about 2 weeks ago I had a spinach salad from my brother's pizza restaurant. Immediately after I ate it I threw about half of it up and then had the worst stomach cramps and back ache I have ever had, I can honestly say I would rather do child birth again than go through that. A couple hours later, for the rest of the night I had diarrhea.
Today I made a pasta with tomatoes navy beans and fresh spinach that were cooked until withered. About 20 mins after I ate it, I threw some of it up. The pain is the same as last time just not to the same degree it was when I had the salad. I haven't got diarrhea yet however I feel like I will.
Is this a food allergy? Because I have ate spinach many times before with nothing resulting like this but now that it's happened twice I don't know what is going on. Can allergies just pop up, or is it just a coincidence? Please help I love spinach but this isn't worth it and I really don't want to eat it again if this is going to happen.
Allergies9 years agoWhat happens if one part of the brain does not receive enough blood?
The doctors think my dad may have Parkinson's. He's had some tremors and has fallen a few times. They did an MRI and the doctor said there is a spot behind his right eye that looks lighter like it may not be receiving enough blood. When they tested him his right arm and right leg were weaker than his left.
So say this one area doesn't get enough blood, is there surgery or something that could be done to fix it? And it's been years since I've been in anatomy so if anyone knows, could a spot behind the right eye be in the part of the brain that controls motor skills? Could a spot not getting enough blood affect him like Parkinson's may, giving him the stumbling and tremors?
3 AnswersOther - Science9 years agoHow thick should a sheet cake be?
I'm doing a cake for about 20 people, I bought the largest pan I could find a 12x18x2, is that going to be enough or should I attempt to do 2 layers? If seems really big to do two layers on making it by myself.
I'm making it from scratch and the recipe is for 2 9" round pans, should I double the quantities or use one and a half? Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
4 AnswersCooking & Recipes10 years agoIs it safe to use lice shampoo on a toddler?
I found a nit in my daughters hair this morning. I couldn't find any more nits and I didn't see one single live one. Thankfully her hair isn't very long or thick. Is it okay to use a lice shampoo on a 2 year old or should I opt or something without insecticide like mayonnaise?
2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler10 years agoWhat do you consider good punishment for a toddler?
If they did something like bit a younger kid for no reason. The parent's do not spank. Is time out enough or should they take something away, like the TV for some time? What do you feel is a non-violent proactive punishment?
6 AnswersParenting10 years agoCan you sue if someone forges a relative's name on a bill of sale?
My friend bought a car but did not have a mechanic check it out first. I know I know. It's crap, leaked a bunch of oil 10 hours after getting it, mechanic checked it out, there is a lot wrong. She only signed a bill of sale, not the title. Come to find out the girl who sold her the car forged her mother's name on the bill of sale, Mother still has the title in another state. Police told her it is a civil matter they can't do anything but another officer (that was off duty at the time) said it was criminal because of forgery.
I know most people cannot sue because they got a bad deal but can you sue if someone forged a signature on a bill of sale and refuse to provide the title? Trying to help her out, hard to find specific information online any help is appreciated.

2 AnswersLaw & Ethics10 years agoCould you rewire an EZ GO to bypass a battery?
It's 36 Volts, 6 - 6 Volt batteries. One battery is bad and is draining the other batteries so it won't charge. Could I rewire the 5 batteries that were okay to bypass the bad battery? Or would that burn up the good batteries or could it work just not at full power?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoI was diagnosed with GERD, how long will I have to take Zantac?

If Weiner resigns, what do you think he'd do afterward? What kind of job does someone, in that kind of public scandal, acquire after they step down? I would think they are out of politics, do they go get a 9 to 5?
3 AnswersGovernment10 years agoGauze after wisdom tooth removal question.?
My husband had his wisdom teeth removed today about 11 a.m. He's had gauze in all day, changing it frequently. Last time we were changing the gauze it had been over an hour that it had been in and it was only light pink. Is it okay for him to go to bed with no gauze in his mouth?
3 AnswersDental1 decade agoMirena IUD with slight bleeding 17 days into cycle?
When I first got the IUD I didn't have a period for about 20 months. Now I've been a bit more regular. I started my last period on the first of this month, and on the 17th I wiped and there was a little blood. I thought I was going to start another period but I didn't on the 18th again there was a very very small amount of blood. Is this normal? I'm wondering because of the timing if it could be implantation bleeding if I were to get pregnant on the IUD, which I know is unlikely, but I've never had spotting in between periods.
2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoWhat is it like with the TSA?
okay so I'm flying tomorrow for the first time in like 10 years. So I haven't flown since all the new rules and stuff. All I've known about flying is what I've seen in movies. I keep thinking about one where they choose a random spot and just go, and they got like grilled by the authorities because it was out of the normal.
Anyways I decided to travel really light since it's just a weekend trip and I've got the clothes I need in my purse so I don't have any luggage and have to worry about checking it or making sure my bag is small enough to carry on. Is it going to be a problem that I've only got a purse? It's only got my clothes wallet toothbrush and deodorant.

1 AnswerAir Travel1 decade agoFruit or nut tree that blooms like a magnolia?
I have this tree at work that blooms like a magnolia then during summer it gets bunches of little green fruit, I guess, then they turn yellow. I've seen people eat them before but I don't know what they are. Everyone says they are figs, but inside it has a white pit or nut or seed that has a skin around it that gets darker the more ripe the fruit gets.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape1 decade agoWhere can I find a mortgage calculator to see differences if I pay more principal?
The only ones I am finding are for new loans. I need one where I can plug in what I owe on my mortgage interest rate etc then how much I would save by adding additional principal each month. We already pay some additional principal but I want to compare it to my mortgage company's bi-weekly payment plan.
5 AnswersRenting & Real Estate1 decade agoHow do people afford maternity care without health insurance?
Thinking about having baby number 2. When I was pregnant with our first we weren't married, so I was able to get medicaid. Now that we are married we make to much to get any sort of government assistance. Neither of our jobs offer health insurance. We pay for insurance for our first child out of pocket, and to have insurance on me and our child (to be covered for a second pregnancy) is about $400 a month. Which is a little much for us. So if someone doesn't have health insurance and cannot get government assistance, how do they afford a pregnancy?
5 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agohelpful tricks for losing weight?
My husband and I are thinking about having another child/trying to get pregnant in about a year. I want to take this year and lose about 50 to 60 pounds (I am overweight now) to have a healthier pregnancy. I've been working on switching my snacking from crackers or chips to fruits and vegetables. Does anyone have some good tips or tricks for me to follow?
Also I was thinking about trying to do a protein water like Special K K2O protein water and mix in some fiber like benefiber to drink between meals when I start feeling hungry, does this sound alright?
6 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade agoIf my husband and I were to die, what happens to our assets and debts?
We have a mortgage, a car loan, and some credit card debt. We also have a 2 year old. What would happen to everything when/if we died, while my daughter is under 18, and what would happen if my daughter is over 18. We live in GA.
Plus, we know who would take our daughter if something were to happen, does there need to be a legal binding document stating who would take her, or would a notarized signed paper do?
If we had life insurance to cover the cost of the funeral, could our creditors go after it before our families can pay for the funeral?
