OK so the other day i had slipped on ice rfell right on my middle finger.. it hurts now and at the middle knuckle has an abnormally large bump that also hurts to the touch... i don't have the choice of going to a doctor so please don't say that. anything will help. What can i Do to assure proper healing? what will help the pain...?

im at a 12 and want to go down to a 4 but want to skip 10, 8 and 6. any suggestions would be appreciated!
Both ears are recently done within the past year.
