I would like to change my daughter's last name from my maiden name to my married last name. I've been married for several years now & have waited this long to insure I wasn't making a mistake in regards to changing her name. Her biological father is not on her birth certificate & isn't much in the picture. He sends me money from time to time, not every month & it isn't a whole lot & is not official. Meaning, I never took him to court to for child support. He does not live in the state of Georgia. Being he is not on her birth certificate, I was wondering if he would still have to be notified & if there would have to be an ad in his county news paper if his address is unknown. The law says it has to be in the newspaper of the last known county he resides in if the address is unknown, does this apply if he isn't on her birth certificate? and does the irregular money he sends me count as something in the courts eyes, do i have to mention it?

What kind of restaurant would you like to see in your community?

My sister and I would like to open a restaurant but are having trouble deciding on what type of place we would open. We grew up overseas and have a love for international food.

Do you think a place with food from all over the world would be good? or

an Italian place (too common)

Thai

Arabic

Greek (one failed around here recently)

Mexican (also very common)

But with the common ones, I am certain I (we) can cook better than the food they serve at those places..

Please help, if you have any other ideas I'd be very happy to read them.

I have a man-made pond in my back yard that we made for our red eared slider water turtle we've had for about 10 years now. About 3 months ago I found a really colorful land turtle in my subdivision so I put him in the fenced area of the pond but not IN the pond... Yesterday I went to check on them and feed them, I saw him laying in the water all limbs stretched out--I thought he was dead.. But he wasn't, he's still in the water, is it OK for him to be in the water?

Can anyone tell me what home builders I should be looking at that offers good quality for our price range? Which is no more than $225. We are currently looking at Hopewell Manor built by Legacy which we think is pretty good, especially for our first house at 21 and 24 years old. I been reading their houses arent the best quality, so I was wondering for the price range we're in, what bang can we get for our buck?

My sister filed & got a restraining order against me by filing a false rept. said my husband & i physically attacked her which resulted in her broken finger, swollen collar bone and esophogus The truth is it started as an argument that did turn physical by her attacking ME by grabbing my hair & sucker punching me in my face her finger got broken as a result of punching me in my head which i CAN prove My husband did jump between us & ended up putting her in a head lock to RESTRAIN her because she WOULD NOT LET GO he would never intentionally hurt her but was defending me his wife The judge granted her the restraining order without hearing anything from us thus resulting in me & my family (including a 3mo old & a 4YO) having to leave my parents residents against their wishes-they live overseas but own a home we were temp staying in until we find a house, shes always lived there but has no legal rights over. whats the most i can expect come our court date provided the judge sides with us
