I got the harry potter theme for my dashboard, including the text bar. I'd like to know how to delete it, because I want the blue theme back.

Note: I already tried back 2 blue, it didn't work.

I'm 13, turning 14 in a little under 20 days. My dad bought me tickets for a Daughtry concert for the week before my birthday, but he bought a ticket for his wife to come along as well. I was hoping that it would just be me and my dad so we could spend time together, but I don't know how to tell him that without sounding ungrateful for the gift. Any ideas?

The ER doctor told me about 1/2 an hour ago that I have bacterial conjunctivitis in my right eye. I didn't really understand what he was saying, can anyone explain this? I'm in pain and it hurts to blink =/

I'm re-dying my bangs. I do this yearly, and I've done turquoise and purple so far. This is the first year I'm going to dye my bangs myself. Also,this year I'm considering pink or blue, and I don't know which brand to use! The last 3 years I've used Punky brand hair dye, but I'm considering Manic Panic this year.

How do I do this myself?

I'm turning 14 in 2 months. I'm thinking about doing a mall picture scavenger hunt (one of those ones where you run around a mall taking pictures of stuff on the list), then coming back home, ordering pizzas, and watching cheesy 80s movies. This will be my first co-ed party, and I'll probably have the boys leave around 10 or 11 and then the girls stay over. I'm thinking 5 boys and 6 or 7 girls. Does this sound like a good party? Any other suggestions?

I'm 13, almost 14, and my parents have told me that I'm allowed to date. My mom told me that I shouldn't date anyone older than 15, but I like this guy and he also likes me. We don't know what to do, because there's a 3 1/2 year difference in our age. Any advice?

I'm writing a short story that might, hopefully, turn into a book. I've been trying for years, and I think I may have something decent here. Can some helpful people send me some constructive criticism on my introductory chapter, please?

It was my hardest case yet. Walking into the courtroom that brisk Monday morning, I looked composed. On the inside, as only my closest friends knew, I was a complete train wreck. My name? Raquel Shelton, assistant district attorney for all of New York City. I live in a loft apartment in upper east side Manhattan, and live a pretty cushy lifestyle. I love my work, but some cases hit me hard. This is one of those cases.

Let me give you some back story on the case. Exactly 3 weeks ago today I was rudely awoken by the NYPD’s Detective Ian Donohugh at roughly 4:30 in the morning. My phone was ringing loudly in my ear, and I ignored it. This happened 4 more times, and I finally answered. Upon picking up the phone, I heard Ian’s grizzly voice in my ear. We had a fairly friendly relationship, and I can’t honestly say I was displeased to be talking to him.

“Raquel? Did I wake you?” He asked quizzically.

“Oh, Ian? Hello. Yeah, but it’s fine. I should be getting ready for a meeting at some point today, might as well start early. What’s up?”

“I’m sorry to ask this of you, but can you come down to the precinct? I think you’d like to be a part of the case, knowing your history.” I noted the tentative note in his voice as he said this. I was intrigued.

“Sure thing. Let me make myself presentable. May I ask if this is for a client, or what?”

“Just…wait and see. I’m sure, if nothing more, you’d like to take a look.”

We said our courteous goodbyes, and I promised him I’d keep an open mind. Once I hung up the phone and placed it back on the docking station, I began thinking about what this could be about. / He knows my history? What could he possibly mean…there was that fiasco with Joey, my ex fiancé, a few years back…could this be in relation to him?/ I then had a thought that I quickly erased from my mind. I refused to do any murder cases for a year after what had happened with Chris, my husband, and Julia, my baby girl. / They were so young…it shouldn’t have happened to them/ . I thought this, brushing away tears. Almost a year ago, 8 months and 3 weeks to be exact, my husband, my best friend, was killed in a drive by shooting. My precious daughter was in the car with him, and she was kidnapped. The case was deemed cold, and after almost 9 months nothing has came of it. No ransom notes, no media stunts. I have no idea what happened to my baby, who was only 6 at the time. Thinking about her, my darling little girl with the bouncy blonde curls and the vibrant green eyes, sent me into tears. I lost my breath and collapsed onto the floor in sobs. Shoulders shaking, kneeling on the linoleum on the bathroom floor, I gave into the sadness.

After about 10 minutes, I attempted to compose myself. I undressed, showered, and got ready for my day, trying to put aside any hope that the case would be about my family. As I was blow drying my hair, I started to think about my life as a whole. I remember this specifically because this was the exact moment I decided that I needed a dog. / After I finish up at the precinct, I’ll go down to the shelter/ . I saved this as a note in my phone, put on my navy pinstripe skirt, matching suit jacket, crisp white dress shirt, and pulled on a pair of navy pumps. Grabbing my car keys, I headed out the door.

What do you all think? I like it so far, but I need some criticism.

I really like this guy, and he knows. He admitted that he liked me as well, and we were holding hands and stuff that day. The day after, everything became awkward and without saying I think we decided not to bring it up. Well, now he talks about other girls around me, tells me all the stuff they were doing (flirting and just general stuff), and it makes me jealous. Should I tell him that my feelings won't just go away, or should I just ignore it and keep being supportive like I am now? Any advice appreciated.

I didn't think about this when I bought my suit, but I can't go out and buy a one-piece now (my family can't afford it at this time). the main area I'm concerned about is around my bellybutton area, because it's darker. Is there anything I can do besides shaving it that's not too expensive?

I'm an 8th grader, going into high school this August. The school I'm going to is a very multi-racial school where white/Caucasian people are the minority. None of my middle school friends are going to my high school, and there is no way for me to get a zone exemption to go to the school where my friends are going. This school is really big (2500 people, not including staff), and I'm used to about 500 people in the entire school. I used to be really shy, but recently came out of my shell. I wanted to know some ways to make friends in the first week or so, so I didn't go back to being so shy.

I thought about joining a club already, and there's none that I like. I'm going to be in Choir if that helps..

I'm a 13-year-old girl, and my breasts are a bit large for my body size. I currently wear a 34B, but my breasts seem to spill a bit from the sides, top, and the bra gapes underneath. I know I probably need to go up a cup size, so I measured myself and went to one of those sites where you type in your rib cage size and breast diameter and it tells you what your bra size should be. Mine keeps coming out as a 36AA, which I know isn't right since a AA is practically flat-chested. One site said 34B (which doesn't fit, and I've tried many styles and brands). What should I do? Do I need to go somewhere to be professionally fitted? What places do this?
