  • My girlfriend uses her IPad to spy on me when she s at work, What should I do?

We ve been together two years and recently moved in together. She s very insecure and recently began working nights at the hospital, leaving me home alone since I work days. I discovered not too long ago she uses her old iPad as a surveillance camera via an app. I confronted her, told her it s an invasion problem, shows lack of trust, etc. Today marks the 5th time I ve found it, she s hid it behind the book shelf, behind the bed, in a vent with an external battery connected to it. Every time I confront her, she swears she ll stop. I just don t know what to do with her.

  • Should I move out of my parents house even though my company may go on strike soon?

I'm finally making enough money to move out, but contract negotiations between my union and company are coming up and there is talk of possible strike. I have a well funded emergency fund.

  • I'm thinking about getting braces for the 2nd time, should I go back to the same orthodontist?

I wore braces for 40 months and had to have four teeth removed before doing so. When my orthodontist decided to remove my braces nearly five years ago, there were (and still are) small, but noticeable gaps where my teeth used to be. I didn't put up much of a fight because quite frankly I was sick of seeing him and I think he was sick of seeing me lol. When I tell people I'm thinking of getting braces to close the gaps they always ask if I'm going back to same orthodontist. If he had did his job right (or I refused to allow him to remove my braces) ,I wouldn't be in this situation. I should note I have a much improved smile and constantly receive compliments, but I've become self conscious of the gaps, the same way that drove me to braces in the first place.

  • How do I politely reject a female?

A co-worker of mine recently asked a friend (and fellow co-worker) of mine to basically ask me if I was interested in her. I was completely blindsided by this since the two of us almost never talk in our nearly two years of working together; I wouldn't even consider us friends. Couple of other things to note are that we work different shifts that have some overlap and that I am not attracted to her in the slightest. Advice?

  • I quit my job without giving notice. Should I still list it on my resume and applications?

It was a part time cashier position in a grocery store and I worked for 13 months. What's worse, the employment gap or the risks of harming my reputation in the eyes' of potential future employers?

  • Why can't I bring myself to search for a new job?

I graduated college 16 months ago with a bachelor's in CIS. When I first started looking for a job, I got rejected or no response everywhere I applied. I fell into a deep depression, and quit trying. I currently work as a cashier as a grocery store, but the pay is pathetic. I do budget wisely however. Everyday I tell myself that today will be the day I look for a new job, but I never do. What's wrong with me? Could it be I'm afraid to get rejected yet again? I appreciate any advice.

  • Would you consider guys you regularly play basketball with your friends?

I've been thinking a lot about areas of my life and one area in particular is the friends in my life. I have a lot of what I call basketball friends. We all know each other on a first name basis, laugh and joke about basketball , but it ends there. Outside the gym, there is nothing.

  • I can't think of a reason to get a girlfriend?

I'm 23 and I've never been in a relationship. Friends and family keep telling me I should find someone, but when I ask myself why I need to be in relationship I draw a blank. I'm really stressing out, I don't understand why I don't want a relationship. I tried in the past, but every time I start talking to a particular girl I get annoyed because the girl is constantly calling me and wanting to hang out. I guess I prefer my solitude, but a part of me does want a girlfriend, but I can't figure out why. Also, I'm looking for reasons besides sex.

  • what is your opinion on owning multiple cars?

My friend bought a new car and kept his truck because he didn't want to drive his car in the winter. In my opinion that's incredibly wasteful but its his decision so whatever. I was curious to other's opinions.

  • I'm attracted to my coworker, should I tell her?

If only we didn't work together this wouldn't be a problem. Thing is, I just started working about two weeks ago , as did she. She seems cool, but I know if things don't work out, it would be incredibly awkward at work.

  • My brother steals from our family, how should I confront him?

My older brother is 25 and is a total bum. He was kicked out of house months ago for anger issues and outburst towards my parents. He recently stole an mp3 from my mother ( I know because he was begging for money desperately from my parents and me and we all declined and suddenly its missing after his last visit). There was even incident he claimed he was robbed a few years ago with my mp3 player I loaned to him ($115 value) and he never even attempted to pay me back ( I believed him so I never asked, but he could have offered), but now I suspect even that was a lie. Over the years he stolen cash from my mother's purse, my other's brother's gamecube, DVDs, and numerous other items which I suspect he's pawning for drug money. We always forgive him and let him come over from time to time. I'm angry because my parents left me alone with him while they went to the store and they told me to watch him. Like an idiot, I thought he changed and I trusted him. I was wrong. He's been doing things like this for years, I now believe he will never change. I'm sure I'll run into him again. He betrayed my trust, stole from our family yet again and I'm sick of him. Should I tell him that?

  • Wrong college degree, is it time to cut my losses. ?

Next week will mark the one year anniversary since I graduated college. I majored in computer information systems, but I chose wrong. It was extremely boring and nothing like I expected. I haven't had so much a job interview related to my field (I am working a crappy job at the moment). I don't feel my college prepared me well and employers want so much experience. The biggest problem is, I'm only looking for a job in my field of study because of all the time and money I invested. In fact, I realized I didn't like the major, but it was far too late to change. My level of enthusiasm for a job in CIS is probably a 1-2 on a scale of 100. It's been a year, and quite honestly I can hardly remember all I learned (who really can?), and I'm just so tired of trying to make this major fit only because of the time and money spent. Thoughts?

  • Should I use a convenience check to pay off my $2300 student loan?

Ok, here's the deal: I have $2300 in student loans with a 4.21% interest rate that I attend to pay off within a year's time no matter what. My bank just sent me convenience checks with 0% promotional APR through June 2013. However, there is a 4% transaction fee. It seems like the benefit of the check will be minimal at best.

  • Can I return a brand new television to Walmart without a receipt.?

I've had it for exactly one week and I've look high and low for the receipt these past couple days. I've heard since I used a debit card to purchase it that they could look me up in the system. Is that true?

  • Should I accept a job at KMart?

Job pays minimum wage, only work 3-4 days a week fora few hours a day. The thing is, I'm a college grad (computer information systems) with student loans currently in deferment for another month. This job may actually work against me since I'll have a job, I won't be able to defer my loans and will barely be to afford them not considering pay car insurance, cell phone bills and such. It just seems like taking a low paying job with not even 20hrs/week will work against me.
