I thought I had the lid on all the way but while I was putting him down the ball shot down. Maybe 3 feet. When he hit the floor he let out panic whispers and was trying to climb out of the ball. I was terrified cause I had dropped a hamster years ago from higher and he died. I immediately took him out and he was moving around in a panic. I out him back a minute later and he had peed in the ball. It has since been 15 minutes since the fall and he is running around in the ball seemingly fine. If he had internal damage how soon would that show?

A little background, I graduated from a CSU with a BS in Human services and a minor in Psychology. During that time I have completed two internships and currently holding down a customer service part time job. I know my resume isn't super extensive, not much surprise I am a new grad.

If you know the field of Human services it is very broad and a million and one things you can get into. I am just having a hard time finding something entry level. I am not being picky, as of right now I just want to get my foot in the door somewhere and start to make actual paychecks to support myself.

I guess what I am asking here is if anyone knows of any good starting position jobs that would fit my qualifications. I am not asking for interviews, just some advice of where it would be good to look at for someone just starting off in their career path.

I would be very grateful to some constructive advice.

I had sprayed Raid ant killer in my room around the borders a few weeks ago. It must have been at LEAST, 2 weeks. I had my hamster in his play pen(big cardboard box) and left the room for a few minutes. And of course he got out. When I found him, quickly he was running around in the spots where I had sprayed the raid. Now I know that these fumes are bad for ants. But what about hamsters? Hamsters use their noses and sniff everything, I know mine is always wiggling his nose. My concern is if the raid that I had sprayed, and has since dried completely, will affect my little guy. I know for humans it is not an issue to be around but what about hamsters since they have such tiny systems, a wiff of something like can be detrimental. Any advice of what to do or what to look out for is he did get effected. I am a complete worry wort and just need some peace of mind.

So I was working at my job at a pet store. I was cleaning the restrooms and had to mop the floors. I used a combination of simple green and bleach. The odor was very strong. I was also using zodiac flea and tick spray, lightly spraying it in the corners of the bathroom. This was to prevent bugs showing up. I was wearing gloves during this whole process. Shortly after I began to get a very stiff neck , so bad to the point that it hurt to turn my neck too far. After I cleaned the bathroom I went on lunch, had noodles and was fine. But now that I am home I felt nauseous for a brief time but went away. I am afraid I have some sort of toxic reactions, should I be worried that I was poisoned by inhaling these fumes or could this just be a neck strain from lifting bags. It was just funny to me that after being in those chemicals for so long that I get this reaction. Please any input would be great

soooo I was eating a cupcake with milk. and I began to cough because it went donw the wrong pipe. I couldn't stop coughing for like 20 minutes. now I have this feeling in my throat that something is stuck on the right side of my tongue/throat. I am not coughing much now, maybe I will clear my throat from time to time. but nothing has really changed, I can swallow water and talk so I know nothing is obstructed. but is t possible that a piece has not gone down yet?

if you have some advice I woild greatly appreciate it

I wash cleaning out my fish filter and didn't realize there was still some water inside. So when I tilted it it spilled just on the 9-key number portion of the keyboard. I dried it up immediately and got all the water off, I even turned it upside down to pat out whatever else was still in the key pad. I heard that you should turn it off and let it dry upside down for a few hours to make sure no damage occurs.

Can anyone give me some advice or help reassure me that my laptop will be ok. Before I turned off my laptop it was running fine and all the number keys worked. Is there any other things I should worry about

SO let me set the time line, it was around october 12 that I was reaching the last days of my period. I came home from work and I believe I took out my tampon and just put on a liner for the time being. So when I went to put a tampon in for the night I inserted a new one but didnt remember if I had removed the previous one after the new one was already inserted inside. I immediately took out the new tampon and checked myself that night and the following days. I dont believe I felt it in there but I dont have 10 inch fingers or am I doctor so how would I know if I felt it or reached it or not. Im hoping that if it was stuck in there it would work its way down or out or something. So my main concern is of course toxic shock syndrome. I know it can be very dangerous. But how would I know if I have it? I have been paying attention to my body for any changes but I dont feel like I have a fever or feel sick. Can anyone shed some light on this situation. It be greatly appreciated.

So I have tried EVERYTHING to stop my hamster from chewing on his cage. I get him out for 30 mintues to an hour in his ball a night, i got apple wood sticks, chew treats, carrots and a chew mobile. I always wake up in the middle of the night to him chewing on the cage bars and it drives me nuts. Because I feel the need to get out of bed and blow a puff of air in his face or tap his nose when he is chewing to get him to stop. I am to the point that I want to put hot sauce on the bars(not going to do though...ever). So I went searching for yet another thing to maybe help and I came across using a stainless steel spoon. They said if your hamster likes the taste or sound of the bars this will be a good alternative. But my only thing is, will it cause brain damage or uneven teeth the same way like if they were chewing on the metal cage bars? I want to make sure that it is safe to do this before I get one for his cage. And if so, what requirements must I use to finding the right type of spoon and if I need to boil it or clean it before giving it to my hamster. I would love to hear some good dettailed feedback please. Thanks :)

I had just put him back in his cage after him being in the ball about 30 minutes. I try not to keep him in there too long at a time cause I dont want him to become dehydrated. Then about 5 minutes later I notice he is laying funny on one of the levels of his cage. I blew on him and no movement. Which is weird cause he usually jerks up really fast. Then I go to pick him up and was limp. He was still breathing he just wouldnt wake. I put him back down in a panic and watched his breathing. I thought he was going to die so I decided to pick him up for comfort. But then he ended up waking up. and now he seems fine. Should I be worried or was this just my hamster in a deep sleep.

PS....i heard that if the room or their environment is really cold they can go into some sort of mini hibernation, and I just realized the vent in my room is point right at his cage. And the AC has been running nonstop for a few days. Could this have anything to do with it. And also I have been trying to get him to stop chewing onhis cage bars which I know is bad for their brains. But it is not often I catch him chewing on the bars, its usually out of boredom.

OK gross I know. I wish there was somewhere else I could ask this but here we go.

My first one night stand ever and **** goes horribly wrong.

SO we are having intercourse and not until he...you know....do I see the condom not on.

I put it on before so I know it was there. But he said he took it off, then said he didn't,

we looked all over the sheets around the bed and nothing.

So I am coming to the conclusion that it might be stuck inside.

What the hell do I do!!!! Im really scared, I dont want to get pregnant or get any infections.

Please any REAL advice would be nice.

I dont need any judgement

So me and a co worker want to smear cake on on another co workers car for revenge. We already put car paint on his window and a condom on his tail pipe, and he got us soaked with water in return. So for on last prank we want to put cake on his car but will it be safe. I figured if the cake was made without eggs it should be fine and shouldnt damaged his paint. Does anyone know for sure if it would or even how to do this?

So i had an ultrasound done and it took about ten minutes or so. It was initially done to look at my liver and to see if it was swollen or inflammed. When the technician left the room I was still wiping off the gel from my belly. So I glanced at the monitor for a second and it had my info, and in the comment box they wrote "elevated lifts". What does that mean, Im not trying to jump to irrational conclusions, so I would like to hear anyones feedback on the matter. Thanks

Ok so I have seen this movie thousands of times but I dont get the part where he goes to face voldermort. I understand he gets hit with the spell, they both get knocked out and harry goes to that limbo place. But its when he decides to live but is still out on the floor. When Dracos mom comes over to check if he is dead, she whispers, "draco is he ok"? wtf? i just dont understand that, can anyone tell me what happened, its driving me crazy not knowing

So I noticed that my hamster has a small cut on his paw, I can see what is most likely dried blood. I got him about 3 weeks ago and he was perfectly healthy. They said then, that he was like 3 months old or so. He still has high energy and eats and plays with his toys, I am still in the process of socializing him so he is still skiddish with me. But I am taking the necessary steps for tI also did notice around this time that he had what looked like a rash on his butt. But i want to know if I should worry about the cut, Im not sure how he got it or how to care for it. When I noticed it, I changed out his bedding and cleaned his cage. And then I used a natures miracles coat wipes to clean him up a bit. I did all this to help reduce germs from getting inside his wound and to clean his wound. I noticed after cleaning him and his cage, the rash is gone, but what should i do about the cut

I noticed the other day on my hamsters bum, that he had a little rash, its a small area on his bum, it looks like it could be irritations. And then today I saw that he had a little red spot on his paw. But this doesnt look like the one on his bum, it looks like more a knick or cut or something. Would anyone know what this is.

I am a 22 year old girl. I am currently enrolled in a CSU, its my first semester in a CSU and I have been really stressed and anxious for the last month or so. But this all began towards the end of march, when I was home alone watching tv. I made a plate of orange chicken and rice. And while i was eating I swollowed somethings funny. It was a small chunk of chiken, and it felt like it was logde in my throat. So I took a sip of my drink but I started to panic. SO i got this feeling like my throat was closing and I couldnt breathe, but I could, I could even talk. But I just kept getting this overwhelming feeling so I called the paramedics and they checked me out and I was fine. But ever since then I been getting panic attacks, overwhelming anxiety and what seems to me a restless mind. I have even had stomach issues like a burning chest and pressure. There was a point where I was afraid to eat anything because of dear of choking. Even now I cant eat anything solid like chicken or apples or sandwiches cause I get a weird feeling of choking. ALl I can really eat is mushy food like mashed potatoes and beans.

I have been to the doctor coutless times and they keep telling me it is most likely stress with life and school, which is understandable. They even said GERD and heartburn and other stomach issues can be caused by stress

But what has me worried is I sometimes feel like their is something in my throat and I cant breathe deep enough to get air in my lungs. And I get this thoughts in my mind that I am in a dream state and that I actually choked that night and Im unconcious. Or that i died and this is not real. But I know Im here, but my mind is taking over my reality. ANd it scares me, because no matter how insane the thoguht is, I cant help that it is true. My symptoms have begun to slow down now that school is almost over but I still feel this sensation

I know this was long but If anyone stuck through until the end, can you please help
