I've heard that sites like ancestry charge a monthly fee and you have to do the searching. I don't want that. Is there a place where you can tell them your name, parents and grandparents, and then they can mail you papers or a folder with your past relatives for a fee? In other words, i need someone else to look all this stuff up because i only know my grandparents names and have no clue who their parents were. So i would be stuck with the info i already know. I'm not interested in brothers, sisters and cousins. I only want to know mothers and fathers. Like my grandparents parents, and their parents, etc.

At our hummingbird feeder today there was a extremely small flying bug drinking some that spills. I was able to get right up to it and it had black and yellow stripes like a bee, but was midge sized. It never landed and seemed to drink while flying which is unlike what a bee does. Ive never seen it before. It cant be a baby bumble bee because i believe most of them hatch full sized or close to it. Anyone know what it can be? I live in the northeast US if that helps.

Ive been on youtube for a decade so i know my way around the site. The buttons used to be under the play button. But now, instead of a thumb up or down, it is 1 button that says "g+ Share". When i click that it wants me to sign up for google plus and has nothing to do with liking or disliking the video. Its been like this for a couple weeks. The thumb up/down option is still there for each comment, but not for the video. New videos still get rated so it doesnt seem to be effecting everyone. People are able to like/dislike the video, but not me. Why? Anyone know what i did to replace the buttons with a g+ Share button or how i can get rid of it?

I keep getting these emails and private messages on my PS3 saying i have unused funds in my wallet and have not purchased anything in 6 months. First off, yes i have. And second, is Sony this hurting for cash or is this some sort of scam? Ive been wanting to purchase something for a while now but i dont because of these emails. Im afraid i wont get what i paid for and will be ripped off. Are these emails for real, and is the PSN safe to purchase from?

I was watching a special on fossilized pine sap, or amber and how they sometimes find insects stuck in them. Some date back to the time of the dinosaurs and they are the only animals we can see fully intact from that time. The question is, why they look exactly the same as the ones living today? Humans changed dramatically over just 5 million years or so. And looking at evolutionary charts, all other animals seemed to change with time as well. So why not insects?

How do i disable updates for that program? I use it MAYBE once a year, if i absolutely have to, and yet every single time i restart my PC i have to update this annoying program, which requires another reboot of my system. I mean for crying out loud its just a fancy text file reader. What the heck are they even updating? Its the most annoying program ever made. Just go away already!

And yes, i tried deleting it but then was hounded with "install acrobat reader" messages every time i go to a site which might have a pdf file. Ridiculous.

Im wondering, who or what factors decide when swear words are allowed in songs heard on the radio? I thought about this today. On the way home from work i heard the Pink song, F---in' Perfect. The F bomb was taken out and she just sings the "less than" part twice to replace the F word. A few minutes later, The Who - Who Are You came on, and he clearly says "who the F--- are you" in it. Also Steve Miller Bands song, Jet Airliner says "funky s---t going down in the city."

So why are those allowed and others are not? How do they determine when a swear word can be played over the airwaves?

Im playing the good guy and have high karma, but lately everytime i end a mission it says im more evil. This last mission it was just me and a ice titan. No peds nearby cause it was around the ice tower. After defeating him it says, "your actions have made you more evil." Then in red it says, "Cold Shoulder (x7)" or some other number.

What is cold shoulder? And why would i become more evil by defeating a evil monster?

The small company i work for is closing down. Will i be able to collect unemployment or is that only for places which are open and wanted less workers?

Can someone please explain my bill to me before i call them? I signed up for the $39.99/mo 450 minutes plan. My last payment was my first, so it was high. I paid it figuring there were start-up charges or whatever. No biggie. But this is my second bill and its $70 with no explanation!

My bill says they recieved last months check so previous balance is 0.00.

I used 40 minutes of 450 and have 410 minutes rolled-over. Balance is 0.00.

2.00 gig Data plan says i only used 0.47. Balance is 0.00.

So all there should be is the $39.99 charge which is says under Data Plan.

But the bill summary says Monthly charge $64.99, other charges (??) $2.15, and Gov't fees $3.00 = $70.14 total. Where is the $64.99 coming from??? There is nothing on the bill about this.

Ive been messing around with a couple of these mmos for the iphone. In Original Gangstaz, im blue. So when i hit the fight button only reds show, which is the way it should be. But in iVampires, my own clan members show up in the fight list and then i get messages from ticked off people asking why i attacked them. My clan is about 30 and theres no way i can remember every name. Some clans have hundreds of members and i cant see them memorizing every persons confusing name. How do you avoid attacking members of your team? Or, how do you filter out team members from the fight list?

I cant figure out how to make a new folder to put downloaded wallpaper or pictures from my PC in. Anyone know? They are in a folder called Camera Roll and they keep showing up when i turn on the camera. After i take pix or videos and upload them to my PC i tend to delete them off the phone for space. I keep accidentally deleting the other things i want to keep! How do you make new folders or where can i find these folders on my PC so i can drag n drop or copy/paste?

I currently own a Celestron 8" CST. A great telescope that ive had for at least a decade. But im getting older now, i have a bad shoulder, and its just way too clunky. The base motor is also broken. I leave it on the tripod and just carrying the thing around is getting to be more of a chore than fun. Its 30 pounds plus the tripod, so not too heavy but very awkward. The legs of the tripod are always hitting mine while walking with it so i have to hold it out from me and then 30 pounds feels like 100 lol. And taking it on and off the large tripod is too time consuming so if i did that id never use it at all.

I need a scope that is light, convenient, a table-top stand preferred, carry with 1 hand, maybe a 4, 5, 6 inch lens, that takes the standard 1 1/4" eyepieces so i can use the ones i already own. Ive been to a few sites, but of course they all say theirs is the best. Any suggestions on the best brand, model, deal, etc?

Im new to ebay. I want to sell a ipod and plan on selling more things i rarely use. My plan was to go to the post office and package it with the stamp(s) needed so when it sells i can just add the persons address to the box and send it off. Is this how people do it or is there a better/easier method? Like i said, i want to sell other things like movies, CDs, games, etc. So do you get the things needed to mail a item from the post office first, and then do it at home, or do you take each individual item to the post office only after it sells? Its sad i know, but I have no clue how it works lol. Any help or explanation on your own methods would be appreciated.

There is nothing wrong with my internet connection but when i clicked install on this app, its icon shows on my screen just blank gray and says "waiting". I cant figure out how to cancel it and try again. Anyone know?

If i use mac address filtering on my router i hear someone can get in anyways using my mac address. Would that stop me from getting access to the net? And, would i be able to see them in the list of PCs using my router?
